We stayed at the Bubble Lodge Bois Cheri for a night to celebrate my birthday! It was an amazing experience, truly an experience of a lifetime!!

Sleeping in nature, under the stars was so unique! The staff were very hospitable, even the food was so delicious…they had unique tea based dishes that tasted amazing. We had Stefi from the hospitality team assisting us and she was lovely and very kind.

Highly recommend this experience to all!!

A unique and unparalleled experience of being close to nature.

At night, the rain itself played a lullaby for me, and the stars watched over me as I drifted off to sleep.

In the morning, birdsong woke me up, and I awoke in the embrace of nature.

For the first time in my life, I looked directly into the eyes of a shy fawn, and my heart raced. 😍

I have waited a week to post this review, to ensure my initial disappointment and anger was honest. It is in a beautiful setting and the staff are attentive, BUT.

The experience was HORRIBLE and not at all as presented on their website. It was one the worst quality hotel experience I have had in 30+ years. The grounds and vegetation are amazing. There was a banquet when I stayed on a Saturday night. My bubble was bathed in light until 1 AM from the lodge which meant I was not able to see the stars until after their lights were turned off. The music from the banquet that lasted until midnight meant that I could not hear the nature sounds as was expected and had to use earplugs to block the music. It was like staying in a party hostel. After the music was turned off I could hear the staff talking loudly and dragging heavy tables on a wooden floor until 1 AM.

The following morning I was woken by the birds, though it was 2 roosters crowing in harmony for 2 hours and not the natural surroundings as expected and promised.

The tour of the tea factory could not happen, as I stayed there on a Saturday night and the factory does not operate on Sundays.
There was no mention of a guided tour of the tea plantation either, actually barely even a description of services offered or available when I checked in.

When I talked with a manager the next morning, he said. “So sorry for your experience”. He thanked me for being calm, indicating that usually people are most angry when they report a bad night like I had. The other staff looked away when I brought up the subject, knowingly.

When I indicated that there should be some type of compensation for such a horrible experience, they offered a “set lunch”. This was laughable when considering the price of the night and could not be taken as I had to go to the airport.

I never leave bad reviews and waited a week to post this to make sure it was not just my initial anger.

This hotel does not provide the experience they present on their website. If I could give them a -5 review, I would.

I have added 2 videos, one shows the bubble bathed in light, the other shows the level of the music that can be heard inside the bubble. Both are unacceptable for a room that costs over 400 euros a night.

Enjoy the place during the day, but don’t stay for the night, there are other fantastic locations to be enjoyed on Mauritius.

We stayed here for one night and it was a very nice and unique experience. We were assigned to the Ginger bubble, which is the farthest away from reception, but also the most private. It felt incredible to be nestled in the middle of nature. I loved the idea of visitors book, where you can read all about the thoughts and experiences of people who stayed here before, and even get the chance to write about your own experience! The food and the service were generally good, but nothing particularly exceptional.

Beware that it can get quite noisy inside the bubble when it rains. It rained at night when we stayed so we couldn't get good sleep, but I guess that's part of the experience 😁

I have been trying to find a place that I feel safe and comfortable and eating good food, but it’s hard to get all of that in bubble lodge place, the only one that good enough is the tea place.

People are too rude and not welcoming at all. The restaurant is not clean and the food is too dirty, am afraid become sick before going to my country cause of their food. Not recommended as in this far area you will need good service and nice employees to serve you.

The Bubbles provide a fully sustainable ecotourism experience, meticulously crafted to ensure no environmental footprint while utilising minimal resources and energy. This establishment is truly exceptional! It is truly remarkable! Our experience at Bubble Lodge includes a complimentary tea tasting, which is a truly enjoyable addition! I typically don't gravitate towards tea, but I was genuinely excited to sample it! The experience was thoroughly impressive. Delving into an array of tea flavours complemented by exquisite cookies. Our experience at the restaurant was exceptional; while enjoying our dinner and breakfast, we had the unique opportunity to observe the animals passing by and curiously gazing at us through the glass wall. This was an exquisite experience.
