We had a great time staying at this property courtesy of the historic, Dmitri. The accommodation is comfortable and has all necessary amenities. Dmitri is a great guy and the tours he offers are 100% worth doing. Incredibly interesting monuments and history and Dmitri is very knowledgeable and objective. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay and was very accommodating.

Giant room, bright house, probably the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Dimitri was fantastic, and we will definitely be back in the future to explore more of this beautiful country.

I highly recommend this hostel. I visited it with my girlfriend as part of our vacation, and we were both very satisfied. The owner is extremely helpful and will assist you with anything you need, offering great recommendations. Everything in the hostel is very clean, new, practical, and functional. The hostel is located in a quiet area near the center. On foot you can see the most important places in Tiraspol and easily walk to the station. The apartment is renovated and tidy. The owner is a wonderful and helpful person who will advise you where to eat well or buy souvenirs. He also offers trips around Transnistria which I recommend checking out

It's a 3 stars hotel only and in Chisinau, so I was not expecting much. When I arrived I asked to see the room before i book it. Great location, close to the main bus station and markets. The hotel is clean all around, reception staff were quick and efficient. It is next to a busy main road which must be considered for people who like quieter scenery.

The room was spacious and beds were comfortable but shower did not work properly, bedside lamp was a little looss and here and there paint was damaged. The kettle in room was nice but most hotels have at least a teabag and coffee, sugar and creamer sachets. It gives a much better impression at the cost of a few lei.

Nice and large room on the second floor; spacious bathroom with good shower pressure. No safe in the room but, for me, the really annoying breakfast arrangement with the restaurant across the street was the main disappointment issue: only one coffee/tea serving included, the second will be a rip off, be aware!

We stayed in this hotel for 3 night, room was very nice, ladies in the reception kind and helfull too. Breakfast in nearly restaurant was delicious. All our issues were resolved quickly, free water bottles in the reception. Highly recommended!

A perfect hotel for a stay in Chisinau. The breakfast was delicious. This hotel has only one drawback: it is often full. I was lucky to be able to spend one night there, I would have stayed there again.

Good service, friendly staff and nice breakfast. The location is not that good. There is an abandoned stadium nearby and lots of wild dogs hanging around, especially at night! It's better to take a taxi to the hotel at night.

We usually come to Shadow just to swim and sunbathe, so I cannot say anything about the rooms as we don't stay over the night. Administration of the hotel is super friendly and helpful. Absolutely exceeded expectations! The owner is a caring, hospitable, and absolute gem of a woman who is genuinely invested in making sure you maximize your time.
