Close to everything. Very clean. Have supermarket and shopping mall attached. Good service. Nice breakfast.

They couldn’t arrange the hotel car at the end but arrange a taxi for me. The hotel facilities are ok, but the receptionist staff is not professional

Bottled water is thoughtfully and generously provided. The attached mall comes with all the mid/high end global brand stores, foodcourt, range of F&B options as well as a well stocked supermarket at the basement

Location-wise, the hotel is walking distance from a quaint temple complex as well as tourist spots like Gobi Cashmere, the Civic Square and shops, convenience stores and such

The Shang here is a classic hotel with the full suite of services such as a spa/sauna as well as amenities like an impressive gym, in-room bathtub and separate shower etc

A little bit of a tourist bubble so it’s very comfortable and comforting

Perfect location with two minute walking distance of the main square. Close to other interesting places also. Clean and well maintained hotel. I think this is the best place to stay in Ulaan Bataar

Hotel is very strategically located near Sukhbaatar Square and it is walking distance to the museums and there are lots of restaurants near the hotel. The hotel reception staff speaks good English and are very helpful

One sticking point for me was that we’d made the reservation for two people, which stated that breakfast was included, though we were only given one breakfast voucher and were told that a second voucher would cost ₮50,000

Updates: it is noisy! The room insulation is not good, and the air conditioner in the room is outdated. You can not change the temperature and turn of it

Convenient location, close to museums and the chenggis khan square

The location of the hotel is by walking distance to attraction such as Chinggis Khan museum,Sukhbaatar square, Government Palace. Bathroom’s rainshower and headshower are excellent with strong water pressure

Wifi is good if you can connected it , unfortunately I experienced numerous time the user name and password not correctly connect and need to run down to the front desk for assistance

Overall, the hotel is a good experience.

Only issue is they do not turn on the central aircon for heating and only depend on the heater, which can be quite cold sometimes during this period of time

Suggestion to the hotel, get your hotel listed on UB cab so that the service can locate your hotel! It's s shame your hotel couldn't be located on the app!

Not over the top but clean with lots of amenities. The AC didn’t work super well in our room but we survived. The restaurant food is quite good and the rooftop level bar was a lot of fun

No doubt that the Ramada UB City Center is one of the best hotels in the city

Hansang Restaurant and Cafe Restime are also a part of the hotel building, and both were great! The rooms are super comfortable (the one I had featured an amazing panoramic view of UB city - breathtaking), and the shower is huge!! Finally, the staff were super helpful in assisting me with organising airport transfers and car rental for the day, where I got to see the beautiful Terelj National Park

I stayed here near Christmas, and it was a pleasant experience. We booked through their website because they had a special online reducing the price of the rooms. Our room was comfortable and looked reasonably clean

It was a bit warmer than I'm used to, and I couldn't figure out the climate controls for the room. And with the pollution in Ulaanbaatar, I found it difficult to open the window for long

It is a bit old, but it is dignified and well maintained. Classic beds and furniture give you the comfort of home. In particular, the kindness and warmth of the staff has never been felt in other hotels

Especially the manager Ganzorig is an angel who takes care of my difficulties. It is a sample of the hospitality spirit of the hotel. He makes this hotel more special. This hotel is home away from home

Robby cafe have a good service and comfy seat I loved espresso with a fresh milk . I will def visit and stay here when I come again in Mongolia. good location and bunch of restaurant around :)

Stayed here for a few nights at the end of May. We were previously in the Ibis, but moved due to the location. Traffic is so bad in the centre, that anywhere that's centrally located is a must for tourism

You're literally 5-10 mins walk from the main square and Shangrila complex. Didn't use the hotel restaurants or breakfasts etc as we prefer to go local when we're away

Although the building itself was old, food was good, clean and looked nice. I am vegan and compared to other places the food was more healthy.

Their English were perfect and i think some reception know Russian, Japan too. If you staying around this area this hotel could be your best choice

Just stayed in the NewWest hotel 2 days. Reception said that they upgraded the room facilities and the service were perfect. I love the hotel service, specially reception

Has restaurant and bar style settings for meals and drinks, service is typically below average which appears to come from restrictive management rather than the staff themselves, food options pretty typical of most westernized restaurants and therefore no compelling reason to visit unless you are in the area

I know the hotel has luxurious rooms. And i shops in the first floor is good too. I saw few Japanese products in there. The price was bit expensive but it’s Japan products 😁

I stayed at the ibis because I was looking for an international hotel. The area the hotel is in is still significantly under development. So there didn’t appear to be a lot of options for going outside and eating

This hotel offers international standards just outside of the city center which is in fact very convenient because you don’t get stuck in the traffic every time

Automatic Remote controlled toilet would be best thing in the Bathrooms. They just serve you a plate with some meat on it. 1/2 type of bread, salad, milk, coffee and juice

Staff tries hard to help out and they are really nice. Water cut three times within one month stay, electricity two times. Breakfast is a scam for 15$ they charge, avoid by all means.

Beautiful nature​, clean and fresh air it is not so far from UB center. Average priced hotel rooms, cozy restaurant sometimes buffet. Snooker and mini cinemas as well. Good service.

Fresh air and good place to be

Great getaway from the city, there is a peacock in the dining hall. Lots of kids great for some fresh air. no track for a stroller though

With its location and facility, they could do so much better. Breakfast is terrible, will never eat here again

The hotel's super close to the city center, so that's a big plus. Rooms are huge, cozy, and totally clean. The staff is nice too. You get what you pay for, and in this case, it's a good deal.

It's a little bit old fashioned but I absolutely love that. It's like travelling back in time to the soviet era. The rooms are also absolutely huge. Location is good too.

Good water pressure and hot water. Kettle was provided but no tea/coffee sachets. Easy to go to the corner store and get supplies. Receptionist spoke English and was friendly and helpful

Rooms are bearable, not super clean, breakfast is quite poor. Staff does not speak English, messed up our order for taxi to airport. The worse is that you come with question, and they ignore you, or pretend to be busy

How do you know if Korean restaurant is good? Easy, when you see 90% Koreans inside the restaurant eating. I came here after my friend told me that they had “naengmyeon” Korean cold noodle

Unfortunately, they were out🥲🥲🥲 instead they had bibimguksu (spicy dry version). Taste was good and the waiters talk korean (if you are korean then it would be easy for you)

The hotel is part of the Best Western franchise. It's located in a quiet neighborhood a bit away from things. The room is clean, and the restaurant has plenty of options. For a budget hotel, it checks a lot of boxes

Love this place! It's half the cost of the downtown Best Western but the service and quality are comparable. The location is a bit out of the main downtown area and there are fewer amenities locally

The girl at the front desk was super helpful, spoke excellent English and helped us order pizza to be delivered. My aircon didn't work and the showerhead was missing but the breakfast was decent

The location was very convenient for the train and international bus stations, though it was a bit of a trek to get to town (or to Seoul St). The rooms we had (one of them a suite) were clean and very comfortable

They even let me use there hose to wash off my filthy van that was still covered in Gobie desert dust and dried mud. The only tiny draw back is that the water takes a minute or two before it gets hot
