Where to stay in Virpazar

We only had two nights there at the end of August, but I sorely wish we had been able to stay longer. This is a beautiful place to stay when visiting Lake Skadar. Virpazar is only five minutes away but the elevation of the property means you have a gorgeous view over the valley. Our little villa was very new, spotless, charmingly decorated and we loved sitting outside in the evening with a glass of...

We had a fab time staying here in one of the lodges. The surrounding area is beautiful with easy access to the village and boat tours of the lake. The host and service was first class, sadly the weather was not warm enough to enable us to use the pool. The wine tasting was also very interesting and the wine delicious.

Luxury, privacy, and peace in the heart of Crmnica Eco Resort Cermeniza is the perfect blend of luxury and nature. Surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, it offers complete privacy and calm. The two pools with an outstanding view create a feeling of pure relaxation. It’s a family-run place, full of heart and tradition — even the grandfather still takes care of the resort, giving it a unique charm...

Beautiful, family run winery. We stayed for 2 nights in one of their newest lodges. The food and wine here were amazing. Its a fantastic place to discover the surrounding area and a short walk into the village. Just wish the weather had been kinder so we could make use of their lovely pool!

A gorgeous place, and even more gorgeous owner. Our daughter gave me a ginormous hug when we got there and said thank you thank you thank you. We’d all like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Cermeniza. The villa was spacious, well furnished, comfortable, cool, clean. The views from the terrace are beautiful. The pools and loungers are great and the setting, just out of town, is perfect. Town itself...

Gorgeous location and resort. The location is perfect - walking distance to town but further enough for a great view and peace and quiet. We stayed for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The pool is amazing and has a great view, the wine tasting with Nemanja was super interesting - he is v knowledgeable and his service throughout our stay was great. It is truly family run from the cleaning...

A perfect place as if from a fairy tale for weddings, birthdays and family outings. Beautiful nature

Eco Resort Plavnica in Podgorica was the perfect venue for our wedding. The picturesque setting, nestled amidst nature, created an enchanting backdrop for our special day. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawless, especially the exquisite cuisine. Our guests were equally impressed, enjoying the serene environment and exceptional hospitality. Eco Resort Plavnica truly made...

Good places and vibes, location is awesome. Tranquil and far away from the city.. Yet, the wedding menu is just poor. Like usually happens in Montenegro, weeding business is flourishing, and quality is going down. And prices rising.

Good position close to the lake

Amazing location, excellent service , very friendly staff, good swimming pool

Great swimming pool on the shore of the river entering the lake. Great parking and nature

Grest hospitality im this campus hotel im Sksdar łąkę.People here is do Danny and cery helpfull, for is real surprise Grest Rembertów and we recomended for people ,near here We combavk for sure with pleasure

A very good hotel with a nice view on the lake. Clean, friendly personnel, everything you need ! I couldn't recommend enough

This Hotel is very cosy and clean and a fair Price! You can also ask for the boattrip and a good Restaurant near by. The staff will help you. We had a wonderful stay, thank you :)

Great opportunity for family holida, particulary with small children Great chance for enjouing by boat on the lake

Best hotel in Virpazar, right by the lake with beautiful rooms, clean, comfortable, quiet and wonderful staff

Great place for people with bicycles. The people are really friendly, the owner was eager to help us with everything, and the rooms are very clean. I highly recommend this place

This place is a little paradise , if you like nature and animals , looking for a relaxed and calm place away from busy city's? Then this is a place for you ! 😁 The Owners are verry friendly ! Delicious food , breakfast , wine and rakija ! ( If i am right most of the food you can get here is local and from the farm of the camp ) . This place is a must visit if you are in Virpazar area 👌🏻😎😁

We had an amazing stay at Sunny Hills Camp! Lovely little campsite in the wilderness with mountain view where we stayed in the garden with our camper van. If you seek peace and calm stay here. High chance to find your peace of mind at Sunny Hills! Such a little paradise Anna and her family created here! Highly recommend the breakfast with domestic fresh foods, handmade cheese and yoghurt and the most...

Very warm welcome by these super nice owners. At our arrival we got fruits, juice and cake - Balkan hospitality at its finest. All their produces are grown in their own garden and organic. Excellent spot for a visit of the Skadar lake. They only have one toilet and shower but they are very, very clean. You can definitely see that they put a lot of love in this place. Would highly recommend!!

Very lovely place! We stayed here for 2 nights and there was a very relaxing vibe, amazing food and very friendly hosts! Perfect place to discover the neighbourhood even if you don't have a car (Virpazar is a 40 minute walk). Would definitely recommend to Everyone! 😍

I really loved my stay here! I immediately felt very comfortable and cared for, they even picked me up from the train station. It’s a very cute family farm with ducks and cows. There’s a common area to eat and hangout in the shade next to the kitchen that has a beautiful view and I had many lovely conversations there with other travelers. She serves dinner for 10 euro and breakfast for 5 and they were...

Really wonderful campsite, with the nicest hosts! We had a delicious breakfast there as well as wine and loved it all. Great prices, great atmosphere - definitely recommend when visiting Skadar!

We thought we'd take a short walk along the road that leads from Virpazar to visit the winery. The owner was outside and welcomed us in. He seemed happy to talk about his wine, although his answers were quite abrupt, but I think this has more to do with cultural differences rather than personality. We asked to sample the white and rose wine. He provided a small sample of each which were poured into...

This was a little paradise near Lake Skadar. The property was beautifully laid out, with two different pools (one per every four villas), surrounded by vines, a patio for meals with a beautiful view. The winery was small and family-owned; they do a free wine tasting every evening. The owners were hospitable, friendly, and attentive. They make bikes available so you could bike down to the lake (a flat...

Great stay at Eco Villas Merak! Very comfortable villas, amazing to have the swimming pool right in front of your door, and we enjoyed a friendly and free wine tasting with the owner. Good dinner and breakfast also on offer, served at the beautiful terrace overlooking the mountain! :) thank you!

We stayed there for 2 nights and it was wonderful. We felt like part of the family. There is a free wine tasting for the guests. It is a lovely place and we would always come back.

Wonderful place !!! The hosts are so nice, they take care of the guests. There is free bike for visit the village or the vineyard around. The view is just magic with a perfect swimming-pool ! We stay three nights but it's not enough ;)

We were only here for 1 night but wish we could've stayed longer! Villas are perfect and the view surround the pool is even better. We had a lovely time wine tasting and eating the lovely food they cooked for us.

I recently had the most amazing stay at this glamping site! The location is amazing and from the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warmest hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even treating us to their delicious homemade wine, which was absolutely fantastic. I can't thank them enough for providing such a memorable experience. Everything about my stay was top...

I had the most incredible time at this glamping site! I was blown away by the sheer beauty of the surroundings and the attention to detail in every aspect of the experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The highlight for me was definitely their own vineyard and the amazing wine they produced. It was a true treat to indulge in such high-quality wine...

The location is absolutely stunning featuring a jacuzzi and countless small details like decoration, supplies, etc. The Village Glamping has exceptional hosts that will provide you with fresh fruit, ice-cream, homemade red wine and Rakija at all times. They will make sure you have the best stay possible and read every wish from your lips as well as give you great insights into Montenegro's culture...

The warmth and kindness of our hosts (Sanja, Igor and Deodora, Peter) made us feel very much at home here. On arrival we were greeted with lots of delicious food and local wine! The site is next to a beautiful vineyard and Sanja and her daughter Deodora gave us a fantastic tour of their home and the local area including lots of useful tips/stories and turtle petting! They go out of their way to...

A spacious room, but a shared bathroom. A poorly balanced breakfast with no hot drinks (no fruit, no juice, just a Fanta). Communication was very difficult with our host, who only spoke German and Albanian. We appreciated being able to have dinner without prior notice, but we had no choice (fried fish, potato salad), and the bill was exorbitant considering the very low price of the room.

The lady who took care of the hotel gave my parents wine in the evening, which she charged them in the morning for €20. I do not recommend.

Difficult to find. It is better not to go at night, the road is very dangerous. Shower and toilet for 2 rooms. It is dangerous with children - the playground near the house is not fenced. High break. Parking for super drivers, on a narrow and steep road. Beautiful view of the mountains.

We liked everything very much. We were alone, so we didn't have to share the bathroom with anyone. Friendly hostess, delicious breakfast, fresh figs! Bought wine with us, very good dry red wine, I also recommend it.

Staying at Feel Lake was amazing! We came from a big and stresfull city, took a taxy from the airport of Podgorica and found ourselves in the middle of nature, lake, sunshine and mountains around the wine terace. The one of the best beaches of the lake is just 3 km away trough an astonishing landscape. Snezha, the owner, took care of us a bit as a mother. The food she coocked fresh was amazing, we...

We stayed one week with my GF here. it was a wonderful experience. The hosts is super nice and a fantastic cook also :) Very nice and quiet place, walking distance to a beautiful secluded beach and even cute dog and cats, you can't ask for more. Shame on that 1 start review

We stayed for just a day, location is great, in the middle of the nature, ground is good for tent soft grass. Staff is really friendly and kind. Only problem is toilets and showers weren't really clean, still usable but not clean enough.

Really cool place for any visitor with car, van or simply just backpack and tent. The facility is well maintained, all people around are very friendly and it is really close from the city. Also you can get great food from the Tavern. All for very cheap price suitable for any traveller.

A truly lovely and well-run campsite! We especially enjoyed the convenience of being able to rent canoes for the lake directly on site – and at a very reasonable price. Such a great experience! The owners are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. You feel right at home from the moment you arrive. A real highlight is the small on-site restaurant: the food is fresh, delicious, and...

What a beautiful place in the middle of nature!!! A warm welcome from very sensitive and uncomplicated people. There is a lounge with fridge, hotplates, sofa and tables to relax. There is also electricity in the lounge. WC and showers are in a separate building. Self-made, just the way I like it. I felt very comfortable and had a restful night and would love to come back! Thank you for your hospitality

My buddy and I, we had a fabulous time at this place. Nice people who run that campground. Uncomplicated and easy. Any questions from us where no problem at all. You can have a adventurous walk starting at their backyard. Surrounding landscape is just beautiful, take a kayak on Skadar Lake and go to Godinje Beach. As long as there are no tourist groups (which happens not even that often as it is the...

The friendly family at Verzina Farm made us feel truly welcome, with a delicious homemade dinner, plenty of food, and excellent house Rakya and liqueurs.

We had an amazing stay here for 3 nights which was much needed after the busy and crowded days in Budva. The place was nice and quiet and surrounded by the nature. Enjoyed walking around the village and amazed by the pomegranate trees. est 10mins drive from the railroad, touristy area with lots of restaurants and kiosks for boat trip, along the mountainous road with few view points of the lake. 45mins...

We stayed at the rooms, ate at the restaurant and took the guided boat trip on the lake. Everything was excellent: great traditional food with very generous dishes. Amazing farmhouse with vines and great experience, especially for a family with kids but also for couples. The boat tour was interesting and fun. Melissa accompanied us with her dad and provided the English explanations. Above all, the...

One of the best rooms we had in Montenegro. Cheap, rich and tasty breakfast, nice room and very nice family. They have dinner with their own wines if you want. Also much quieter than Viapazar. Recommend to anyone!

I stumbled upon this place by chance, and I couldn't be happier that I did. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat. The food was exceptional, with a delightful selection of dishes showcasing local flavors. The rooms were immaculate, well-appointed, with stunning views from the terrace, and the private bathrooms added an extra touch of comfort. The boat tour on Lake...

The best! Such a warm family. You immediately feel at home. And the food (dinner and breakfast) is delicious. Also the boat trip is fantastic. If we could give an 11 we would have.😀
