The hotel is history in itself.. it was opened on October 1, 1955 and was then the only "A" hotel, according to the hotel qualification at the time, in Montenegro..
Today, the hotel has a reduced capacity because one part works as a faculty, another as a student dormitory, then a supermarket, and a couple of clothing and footwear stores.
Unfortunately, music was played at that place which, in my opinion, glorifies certain fascist and Nazi moments, probably under the pressure of certain people who come there.. they had and still have the most beautiful terrace.. and they are located in the very center of the city..

We arrived late at night as two couples, with the sole expectation of having a room to sleep in. Upon arrival, the staff did not speak any English and could not assist us. The elevator seemed as if it had survived the First World War. Furthermore, the rooms were very outdated and damp, with doors that would not open properly, and there was no air conditioning.When we went to our room, we were given a room that was already occupied. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and ruined our montenegro visit.

We were restaurant guests. Awful salad cesar from chef: just sea of mayonnaise, we can't eat this. And after we finished no one come to us to take dirty dishes... Hope, that this was only with us.

There is a tremendous difference between the photos you see on the booking sites and the view that you get when you enter your room. The room itself was clean, and the towels were fresh. But regarding everything else… let’s just say this hotel needs renovation. Very-very badly. And in the meantime, fixing the shower and getting a bathroom curtain would be nice.

The toilet didn’t work when I got there, and in my 4 day stay they haven’t fixed it or offered me to switch rooms, terrible.

It's old, obsolete, could use a better maintenance, has seen better days, but it's okay to spend a night.

Hotel Onogost is related to hotel and bar. Bar is so beautiful with great craft beer ! All drinks is ok, but no have continuity in quality of food. Sometime food is great, sometime is terrible. Chicken wings 5 times is deliciously, but last 2time is not enough backed. If have many persons in bar you have to wait so long.
