Hôtel Marrakech in Tangier

The service was good. Very helpful host.
Room was pretty, nicely decorated. Bed was good, no aircon but it wasn't so hot so we managed. The bathroom was horrible, shower curtain full of mold. Shower didn't have the shower head, it was broken. Very, very bad smell. Terrace was great, nice to watch sunset.
Location is good, near the port and in the medina. A tip: if you want to visit the city center and otheraareas cheap, take the hop on hop off bus (13€ for 48h)! Start point is the port.

I had a wonderful experience here! The location is super, the staff are great, especially Abde with his friendliness, food & site seeing suggestions. Each room is uniquely hand painted adding a nice charm to the hotel. The bathrooms are of an older style, like the building (to be expected in the location), but were clean, fully stocked and with hot water. The rooftop terrace has a nice view and is an easy place to meet others if you’re traveling solo. A wonderful experience and space for a great price. Highly recommend.

it was a nice experience, the price for one night was very affordable, the staff were nice, the place is very close to everything.and the room was neat with nice Moroccan interior.

Great location, it was a good choice to stay in the Medina and close to everything.
The hotel was decent, the only downside was the absence of an elevator, it was difficult to climb the stairs with luggage but you wouldn't expect a hotel in the medina to have a lift.
It is a good value for your money.

Really friendly and helpful staff. We got a very affordable and nice room with 2 balconies overlooking the see and the city. For this price, I could not ask for more. Also, the location is unbeatable, if you want to be in the centre. Recommended

The owner warmly welcomed us upon our arrival, greeting me by name. After a quick check-in, I was promptly shown to my room. The top floor offered stunning city views with plenty of seating, and our room even had its own balcony. The service throughout our stay was exceptional.

Additionally, we were upgraded to the best room at no extra cost.

Each floor had its own dedicated Wi-Fi, and the location was incredibly convenient, with souks, parks, the beach, and more just a minute away.

Overall, it was an outstanding experience.

It was not super-sized but quite a sizeable room I would say (big enough for both a good-sized bed and an adjacent modest-sized area like a "living room" with a table & a few chairs) where also feeling like "almost as an extension" to the room (being located on the "top floor") was the quite-spacious "outdoor deck" with also a nice number of furniture items and where yes the best part is this "breathtaking panorama" which is like a combo view of "the city & the sea" (in like a semicircle from the high-ground part of the Medina on the left to the seafront including the ferry port for Spain straight ahead to some picturesque hill area on the far right a little on the outskirts of the city). And also, as for the "convenience of location", the site quite worthwhile in my opinion (for its interesting displays of history & nicely-decorated rooms) which is the American Legation Museum is just about a 5-minute walk away (to the right after coming out of this place), and also quite nearby at just a few-minute walk (to the left and yes actually close enough to be able to see from the rooms of this hotel) is the Grand Socco square with a number of places to eat around the square itself (for some nice fried-chicken meals) & slightly off the square (where I had some nice filling breakfasts at this restaurant "right before" getting to the square on the way from this place). And, my many thanks are to Abdul & all the rest of the staff for their friendliness & cooperation including yes giving me a "great room" at the top and also booking a nice half-day trip to Cap Spartel (for the visits to the Lighthouse & the Hercules Cave).

Good location in the old part of the city. Rooms clean but a little tired but good for the price. Great views from the rooftop terrace. The manager was extremely helpful getting us set up with SIM cards etc. Very attentive. Enjoyed our stay.
