The hotel is gorgeous! The environment is so peaceful!
The employees were very kind and helpful!
The food was delicious (I had the 3 courses meal and the breakfast).

If you come, I strongly recommend to either book during the weekend, or to come by car. During the weekend, the place is far from the public transports.

I will definitely come back !

Rooms were mediocre and they were cold. The hotel restaurant was nice though. The staff was friendly.

We had 2 rooms ,deducted from the 5 stars as the single was the size of a cupboard,the double lovely however the spa bath did not work. Otherwise it is situated next to a wood and a lovely place to walk or cycle. Didn't go into the centre of Breda but within 10 mins walk is a lovely little town square with a few shops, cafes ,a poke bar, ice cream shop,and bars all serving what looked to be great food and all with a lovely atmosphere and loads of inside or outside seating. It is worth noting when you arrive there is a free car park opposite in the woods which is easy to miss otherwise you might be concerned with the very limited parking outside the hotel itself.

Fantastically located hotel. Old and venerable building at the edge of the forest right on the outskirts of the city. Practical bicycles available for easy transport to and from the city. Nice restaurant and outdoor areas with beautiful landscaping. Enormously large rooms. We were upgraded to a better room without asking, with a fantastic view of the garden and a fun sauna in the bathroom. Have visited the hotel many times before and will do so again.

Stayed here for a birthday. Ate dinner here, menu was strange and complicated . Food was alright.

They only came to bring us drinks once while we sat there for 3,5 hours for a 3 course meal.. strange.

Rooms were nice (comfort plus rooms). But the two persons bed was just two separate beds with a gap between them. Annoying.

There was a party which they only emailed us for AFTER reservation. We stayed straight above this party and we could hear all music and loud noise till 1:30 at night….

Breakfast was nothing special. They didn’t bring us any tea or coffee? While it wasn’t busy either.

The hotel is beautiful, and everything feels like there is history to be told about it.

The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable.

Only problems we encountered were that parking can be a hassle and the bubble bath did not work.

Lovely building with a terrace in the sun and option to sit in the shade. The perfect coffee pitstop for cyclists and wanderers of the Mastbos forrest.

I ordered a Caffè Latte and tried to balance the spoon on the foam but it sank right to the bottom. You do get sandy biscuit that you can dunk in your coffee and a small glass of water.

The Latte was descent. It was creamy with no hint of bitterness and for under 3 euro's a descent price
