Het was jammer dat de spa en zwembad gesloten was door een probleem (het gehele weekend) Due to an issue the spa and swimming pool was closed all weekend. The room we booked was really nice

Enjoyed the swimming pool refreshment, the breakfast (of course with it's price) , the bed, shower and working airco. Plenty of parking space and walking distance ((10 mins)) to bars, restaurants and some shops. Challenge when you are de situ e for noise. Even asking a silent room, the highway can be heard well. Be aware. During stay, the elevator was broken, but only a small handicap with the suitcases

I liked the hotel, the area around it was stunning. The staff was very helpful and polite. Dinner was delicious. The only downside was the room. Not as spacious as other rooms I stayed in (similar category) in the Netherlands. Also, there was no AC, nor could we open the window for air circulation because it overlooked the inner courtyard of the hotel (no privacy).

We loved this hotel! The room was huge, with an amazing tub in the bedroom. The pool and jacuzzi were so relaxing. Everything was perfect, from the service to the ambiance. Best hotel stay ever! We highly recommend this hotel for your next get away.

Very nice hotel in former 19th century monastery / orphanage. The building has been lovingly restored respecting the details and stories that reflect its history. The meeting rooms are beautifully furnished. The former old rooms now hold a bar and the the chapel is tastefully decorated so you can hold a major party there. Very courteous and thoughtful staff. Extremely convenient location with an easy walk to most of what one would probably want to do in town. Interesting history and decor. I was a bit intrigued that the bathroom didn’t have a door. Fine if you’re traveling alone but a bit lacking in comfort for me. And they have valet parking so after negotiating traffic, you can just hand over the keys and relax

Visited on a Friday night for 1 night, I paid for the room with points and upgraded to a Junior Suite using my Marriot Bonvoy status. Nice hotel, great location in the heart of Breda, lovely comfortable room. But feel it's gone down a little since last visit in 2024 - breakfast has been reduced, and the fitness room isn't very well maintained.

Very friendly and helpful staff

The power point by the bed did not work and there could be more hangers for clothes. The rest was excellent and we felt very welcome. The staff at the reception and the café restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the good care!!!

The hotel is right next to Breda train station, the transportation is very convenient, the waiters are also very friendly. The hygiene is very poor, the remote control, cups, coffee machine are all scale stains, and the shower water is also very small

Lovely Lovely hotel. The staff was really welcoming and helpful. Breakfast had a lot of options, but it was a little expensive in my opinion, around 20 Euros I think. Bit of a walk from the train station, but it's a nice and easy walk.

The hotel is gorgeous! The environment is so peaceful! The employees were very kind and helpful! The food was delicious (I had the 3 courses meal and the breakfast). If you come, I strongly recommend to either book during the weekend, or to come by car. During the weekend, the place is far from the public transports. I will definitely come back !

We had 2 rooms ,deducted from the 5 stars as the single was the size of a cupboard,the double lovely however the spa bath did not work. Otherwise it is situated next to a wood and a lovely place to walk or cycle. Fantastically located hotel. Old and venerable building at the edge of the forest right on the outskirts of the city. Practical bicycles available for easy transport to and from the city. Nice restaurant and outdoor areas with beautiful landscaping. Enormously large rooms. Stayed here for a birthday. Ate dinner here, menu was strange and complicated . Food was alright. They only came to bring us drinks once while we sat there for 3,5 hours for a 3 course meal.. strange. Rooms were nice (comfort plus rooms). Its a pub. Not a hotel... Two things to note about this hotel. 1. It is in a pedestrianised area and the nearest car park is 25 euros per day and it is about half a mile away. Hotel is in a prime location, with parking approx 300m away. Rooms are modern but no air conditioning, which is not the best during the summer months. Only a small fan is provided in the rooms. Breakfast is ok with decent options.

Tricky upper floor access The staff and service was excellent. However the staircase to our room was very narrow and dangerous for older people. To our surprise there was no coffee or tea making facilities in the rooms.

No complaints. Creaky floorboards and hot water took ages to come through but did eventually. Nice breakfast.

The owners are outstanding and very responsive. It is very close to everything. Total deal for the price. It IS right about a park. Stunning view. Only thing to note is it can be a bit noisy if you have a room on a lower floor on the weekend but was easily able to drown out the sound with white noise on my phone. We stayed one night on a self-supported bike trip from Amsterdam to Paris. The self-check in was carefully explained via What’s App and worked perfectly. Perfect location in Breda, centre of the Town. Owners are very friendly and welcoming, and help you in all aspects, recommending you to a very good restaurant or a beer tasting bar, ör where to visit in Breda and near towns. The rooms are perfectly clean, having airco (which was necessary during our stay, as temperature rised 33 degrees celcius) and a mini refregirator.

Nice hotel, well located and very helpful owners. Would be 10 out of 10 except for the stairs which to be honest are only slightly better than a tight spiral staircase. Very difficult to navigate with luggage.

Stayed here for 2 nights during our cycling holiday. Its changed ownership since our last visit. The lady was very welcoming. Excellent reasonably priced hotel with parking. Nice helpful staff. We didn't have breakfast. Rooms large with comfortable beds nice large shower room. Staircase very steep if not able to climb. Centre of lovely City lots of shopping restaurants bars and cafes.

Overall, the stay was pretty ok. We wish the hotel provided more cosmetic accessories, such as good shampoo, soap, and toothbrush. 

Very basic which obviously is reflected in the price, but with a little bit more attention, and touches the guest's experience could be significantly improved.

Did not appreciate the virtual AI check in. While this may be the wave it was quite bizarre and impersonal.

This hotel is at the doorstep of the train station. Literally in the mall across the street. Go in, reception is on the third floor. The reception staff are very accommodating and friendly. Although the room is small it is adequate. I’ve never seen a mall as huge as this. Oh, and you will be close to the old part of the city.

Managed rooms rather than a hotel. No front desk staff, only breakfast staff (1). Check in is via a hologram. Superb location and very big rooms though I found them too dark. Rooms have great view of church and square. Courtyard/passage furniture was filthy. No cycle parking though excellent public garage 3 mins walk away.

Very good room, good quality, well maintained, clean but too noisy. Was a hot Friday night so a lot of people in the streets. I was o the top floor and was difficult to sleep, I imagine that during winter time this is a perfect stay.

after colleagues waxing lyrical about this hotel, I had very high expectations although these were tempered by some of the more recent reviews. Alas, my experience echoes some of the less favourable reviews. Room was quite dated, and at this price what hotel does not include a mini fridge in the room? Beautiful Boutique Hotel We had a very relaxed time at the hotel. It’s in a lovely neighbourhood and we found it very peaceful, rooms were perfect, clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend it and I would stay here again

Manager “Tieko” had no problem letting us check in well before. Courteously cooking 5 eggs for breakfast as requested. Pleasant, comfortable room with bathroom. Can highly recommend!

Beautiful little hotel with lovely grounds outside town. No close by places to eat. The room was small but well furnished and clean, We chose to not have breakfast due to Travel plans.

Great Experience My stay at this hotel was most memorable. The staff are very nice and very professional, warm and helpful. The room was clean and made up every day. The place has parking, plenty of shops nearby and a lovely peaceful walk to the center of Breda. Keep up the excellent service and see you soon on my next trip.
