Two things to note about this hotel.
1. It is in a pedestrianised area and the nearest car park is 25 euros per day and it is about half a mile away. Not a problem for most folk. but if you have a mobility issue like I do it may be as well to check it out first.
2. Its a pub with rooms. Not usually a problem, but they charge proper hotel prices here (140 euros per night B&B) for a stay in a pub. Breakfast was Ok but not buffet and limited choices.
Clean enough and staff very nice. Smallest lift I have ever seen but hey...you'll manage...
The staff and service was excellent.
However the staircase to our room was very narrow and dangerous for older people.
To our surprise there was no coffee or tea making facilities in the rooms.
Creaky floorboards and hot water took ages to come through but did eventually.
Nice breakfast.
It was a nice stay with a very nice breakfast but the web site said laundry facilities yet there was no laundry
