I seldom stay in a motel so it’s a new experience. It is spacious. My room has a double bed and two single beds. It’s tidy and clean. Staff are very friendly. The private outdoor spa is a must try but it takes time to fill with water. The air conditioner works fine but not the refrigerator, which is not cold. It’s a motel so don’t expect around the clock services. If you haven’t tried a motel, try it.

This is a lovely place for a short stay. It was clean, quiet and well equipped. It also didn’t smell. The bed was super comfortable and we had a small outside pool. The toilet had a heated seat which was comfortable and unusual. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was peaceful and well equipped slept very well.

Clean room. Very comfy beds. The outdoor mini pool / bath was awesome after a long day of driving. The smart toilet took a little while to get used to but was ok after a few goes! Location was handy to all the main sites.

This motel was great for us. Very clean, had enough room for us all and the spa was an added bonus. Even better, the beds were very comfy. The kids loved the swimming pool also. Very friendly welcome and easy going. The only things we didnt enjoy were the TV, which we were unable to figure out and the toilet. While we love it was saving water and environmentally sound, it did little in the way of flush. Would definitely stay again.

Room was spacious and had everything we needed. Bed comfortable, toiletries plenty. Laundry room for those travelling to catch up with fresh clothes.

Great property,centrally located, very close to shopping,restaurants and centrally located. She was so kind and let us check in at noon.This helped so much since we drove from out of town. Great value,very comfortable unit. The beds were amazing. Kitchenette was so good to have. Laundry was pleasant surprise.

This motel has recently had a complete makeover so everything is new. The bathroom is amazing with a great shower and heated toilet seat! The large kingsize bed is very comfortable with nice linen. Everything in the kitchen is new with enough equipment to make breakfast. Each unit has an outdoor pool that can be filled with hot mineral water. The only small negative was the daytime traffic noise from the bypass road but we had no trouble sleeping.

Friendly service but the rooms really need some love. Just a fresh coat of paint would go a long way. A little maintenance here and there. The room was comfortable and clean enough, loved the private hot tub. Just felt a bit dingy due to lack of upkeep.

Ive been to many resturants in my time and from my list i would only revisit 2...Nutilius Tauranga and Paesano Melbourne...both cheaper than here by $15 and have a much bigger yummier spread to choose from....my daughter no dealt ate our money worth with her oyster intake but the food was bland....nothing to rave about...a review of the menu is needed especially for the price paid and desent side dishs with roast meat needs updating.....

So terribly disappointed. In the past Chapmans was a name linked to quality buffet dining and so it was my first choice when I visited Rotorua with overseas family. Unfortunately I was dismayed by the substandard choice and the dubious quality of the food. The hot food selection was appalling to say the least, and heaven forbid if you were not partial to cheese sauce on your steamed vegetables, pasta or fish. It was also a bit alarming to note that a 13 year old is classed as an adult and pays full buffet price of nearly $50. My children did highly recommend the dessert selection though, that received the extra star.
