it’s alright, simple hotel, a bit old and small with simple amenities. I have only stayed one night so it’s alright.

We stayed one night at Ibis Rotorura. Rooms were quite old and worn out, but bed was very comfortable. Also very central!

Looking at it from outside as I drove around it to get to the front entrance made me doubt my choice, but thankfully they invested the money where it matters: the guest rooms.  Spacious, comfy and clean.  The breakfast was pretty bad- even my 16yo son, who is basically our food trash can, wouldn’t eat. Bit more of a motel than an hotel but good location, friendly guy on reception, comfortable beds with lovely cotton sheets, huge bathroom with toiletries, hairdryer and robes. Large bath but definitely not a spa!! Small but nice swimming pool. Unfortunately, no bar or restaurant but facilities in the hotel next door. Good for families with children - playground and mini golf. Would visit again. Impressed...

Honestly, the friendliness and logic of this accommodation beats the 5-star hotels in the bigger cities we stayed in before and after our two nights at Regal Palms. The woman at the desk was SO friendly and the room was SO clean and logical in the spacing and furniture. Location is excellent in centre of Rotorua. Hotel has historic charm, but therefore the rooms are not super new (still OK). The room was quite small. Free and easy parking in the street. Overall a good stay.

Historic hotel located in central Rotorua, great location just minutes away from the visitor information center, restaurants and the lakefront. All the basic amenities were available including coffee pods, hot chocolate and also sustainable amenities such as compostable shower caps.

We had an overnight stay in a executive suite. The bed was super comfy, the room decor was little outdated but everything was super clean. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Great selection for breakfast and the D bar is great space to have a few pre diner drinks. Hotel is close to the redwoods and Te Puia, and a 5 min drive to the Sir Howard Morrison convention centre.

The hotel's service is full of warmth and sincerity, and the staff are enthusiastic, meticulous, natural and considerate, making people feel comfortable and respected.

The room is large, and it is stress-free for a couple with two kids. The facilities are complete and the service staff are very nice. Parking is convenient, and there is a heated swimming pool and SPA. The hygiene is also very good.

The staff is warm and friendly, and the service is thoughtful. Traveling alone can be a bit lonely sometimes, but staying here makes me feel relaxed and comfortable. And it is very convenient to drive to the attractions.

Service was good. Had a bit of problems with shower and they had the courtesy to upgrade my room. The room was big with 2 queen size beds. Very close to all amenities. Would recommend to anyone coming to Rotorua.

Awesome hotel, loved our stay. Had a gym onsite. Large spacious room, with excellent beds, it was like "floating on a cloud". Friendly & helpful staff. Excellent food at the Attrium restaurant. The room was spacious. The Indian front desk staff were arrogant, I don't know where they got their confidence from. The hotel is about a five to six-minute drive from the hot springs. The restaurant opposite the hotel looked good, but we couldn't get a reservation so we didn't eat there. The Chinese restaurant we ended up walking to was surprisingly delicious.

Our second time staying. Lovely comfy clean beds. Shower has great water pressure and a bathtub was a bonus.. We ordered room service and it came promptly and taste great. Aircon was great.

When I used the kettle, water splattered everywhere. There were also spiders in the room, and some of the power outlets didn't work. The room itself was quite spacious, and there was ample parking.

The hotel needs a refresh. Some areas are a bit run-down or even rusty (showers, towel racks…). We had to go to the front desk twice to get towels, and it's impossible to do laundry after 9:30 PM... otherwise, the security guard practically reprimands you…

The surrounding facilities are very convenient. The hygiene is acceptable, and the service is good.

Hotel has been renovated since our last visit, great location and has family spa. Warm reception and gives goodie bags for little ones. Location is good and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Room is not very big but good value for money . Highly recommend and would come back again.

Description in Trip.com stated the hotel comes with full kitchen, kitchenette and microwave oven. However, upon arrival, the room only have a microwave with the kitchenette. my is a suite with an additional room for my boy. However, the whole unit has only one aircon. Old & private hotel with spacious room. Reception service was excellent and giving afew suggested attractions around the area. Overall enjoy the stay here.

The overall stay is pleasant, we have a deluxe room which have two queen to king bed, the space is okay. However, The shower water pressure is not strong enough, it would be great if they provide some plates and more utensils ( like forks, spoons and bread knife), as they only provide coffee service. The view from the room is stunning. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

The pillow inners had a smelly. I don't know how long has been changed? The pillow cases look black.

The rooms are styled like a log cabin, and the parking lot is spacious and very quiet. It would be even better if the check-in staff were a bit more enthusiastic. The bathroom sink is a bit small, but it's still perfectly functional.

Not the best, definitely nicer and cheaper around the town! Reception wasn’t the friendliest

A very cozy place to be in, got all the necessities that you’ll need overall. located in the middle of most attractions here in rotorua, would visit here again. (i’ve actually recommended this place to a friend that is interested in coming here for his trip.)

Clean rooms. The beds are soft. The car park can be entered with allocated pins.

Room was spacious and well equipped with everything I needed. Friendly and helpful staff. The environment was very relaxing.

So very thankful for the little upgrade to our stay - the kids loved it and didn’t want to leave!! We especially appreciated the gorgeous view outside the kitchen window! Will definitely recommend other families etc to this lovely holiday park!

We arrived at wai ora 3pm expecting to be greeted and the bedroom to be ready for us. Neither happened the lady at reception ignored us and kept walking by. Once someone spoke with us we were given the bedroom key only to find the bedroom was not clean and we had to wait over an hour for the staff to sort it out. Once the room was ready they were not sincere, but they laughed about it and make jokes...

The venue was clean but our dinner took ages to arrive and the waiter was working alone and looked very stressed.

Only drawback is having no breakfast included

Blue Lake Top10 has been a fantastic place to stay. All services you would expect have been covered. Their attention to detail in all areas of camp living didn't disappoint!

It was quite nice. The front desk lady was very nice. Someone made the beds every day. The kitchen was completely clear of cooking fumes. She wrote an apology and taped it to the wall, saying there might be a smell from the previous owner's cooking. Most importantly, the rooms are hygienic and tidy with complete facilities. The receptionist has a friendly attitude. The TV provides more channels than the hotel and the cooking utensils are very complete and neat. Andalmost the same service provided by hotels. No wonder it’s so highly rated and one of the best I’ve stayed at in so many motels. Will continue to book this stay next time. 

It's OK. Two rooms, upstairs and downstairs suites, no bathroom upstairs, not very convenient, the floor makes noise when walking upstairs. The room we booked has a private hot spring pool, which is good.

The room was a little tired, but clean. Unfortunately our room (room 14) was in the corner of the property and next to what I assume was the storeroom. The staff were going in and out very early in the morning and were quite noisy. One late afternoon some workmen were parked outside our room loading up their van, again very noisy. On the Point enjoys a stunning position overlooking the lake. For me, it came into its own in the early evening. Absolutely excellent in every way. Aptly named with tremendous views of the lake. The staff are friendly and helpful and sorted out our bookings. We dined there on our first evening and it truly was superb. It's incredibly peaceful and our room was huge and welcoming, again with wonderful views. I can only recommend it in every way.

Location is excellent with lot of cafes and restaurants. I took the Intercity coach which dropped off at the tourist information site. From there it is a less than 5 minutes straight walk and then turning right to reach the hostel. Very friendly and helpful receptionist however do note it is closed at 6pm. Auckland to Huka Falls transit hotel, the town is very small and quiet. There is a geothermal park nearby, where you can soak in hot springs. There is no elevator on the second floor of the hotel, which is a key point. We have three big suitcases and it is too tiring. If you have big suitcases, don't stay on the second floor.

Very simple hotel and room facilities, similar to a motel ~ There are few parking spaces, and you can park for free on the street on weekends. The only advantage is that it is close to a street for eating

It is a boutique hotel, the room is quite comfortable, but the bed is relatively soft, slipper toothbrush have to ask the front desk to pick up, but the information writes a children's slipper toothbrush provided, the result is no. The food street is right next door, which is very convenient.

Plus: 1.Good location; 2.Having a hot pool for SPA; 3.Parking is relatively easy. Minus: 1.Old Capet with smells. 2.At room 14 of my stay, I got insect bites around 3 am in the morning .Which was hurt very badly, so I got up and to search for a balm to reduce that pain. When I checked out, I stressed on this bad feeling to the front desk.

This is a lovely place for a short stay. It was clean, quiet and well equipped. It also didn’t smell. The bed was super comfortable and we had a small outside pool. The toilet had a heated seat which was comfortable and unusual. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was peaceful and well equipped slept very well.

The room was tiny for a motel not in a big city. There was no space on the floor to open a big luggage. It's the size of a ship cruise room! The small garbage can was on top of the microwave which was on top of the counter.
