We absolutely loved our weekend stay here, very private and we loved the option of bringing our 3 fur kids with us and was the best place we have ever stayed at for dogs with our own private court yard for them to hang in!! The spa was a blessing! The bed was comfy perfect water pressure and had everything we needed. We are already planning our next trip so we can stay here again!! Thanks guys for a relaxing perfect weekend away!!

Great little motel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were big and really clean, and bed really comfortable, was very quiet at night so slept really well. The shower was great, heat pump fantastic in a cold snap. The free washing machine was a huge bonus. Location good. Walkable to Papanui and just about runnable to Hagley park. Supermarket and coffee shop two minutes away. Just altogether great value for money.

This was our second two-week stay in three months. That says it all. Rebecca and Rodney are awesome hosts and humans! Friendly, fun, and fantastically accommodating. We travel with our dog, and massively appreciate the safe, well-located, and quiet cottages that we choose. We’ll be back again soon and recommend the people and the place wholeheartedly. Loved the peacefulness of this place with the trees and birdsong. Hard to believe we were so close to a main road. Lovely welcoming and friendly owner. Nice and clean with comfy bed. No room servicing for the 2 nights we stayed. Was not a problem for us, but worth noting for others.
