The breakfast was not a buffet, was charged and took 1 hour. Apparently the staff didn't appear to work that day, or something like that.

The charming hotel and staff were just as impressive as the city itself. In hindsight, we would have loved to stay longer.

Checked in at 12:30am. After a long day travelling I asked the front desk if I could extend my checkout by 1 hour. I was told no and if I wanted more time I would have to pay for another full day!
Room was tired, smelly and carpet worn to the threads.
I have stayed here in the past several times and really enjoyed it, but either managment has changed or they have just let things slip. A real shame.

I loved it here! I was a single traveler, and this was by far the best stay of my 2 weeks in New Zealand. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and had a kitchenette. I tend to over do the adventure on my vacations, but this was my most chill morning on the trip. The staff is friendly, and as crazy as it sounds, the breakfast was worth it! I wish I could have stayed here on the return trip.

The evening meal was excellent - The room was comfortable though in need of a refresh. Breakfast was reasonable though not a match for the previous evening's offering.

Fantastic service from all the team I dealt with, from checking in with Tommy through to the fantastic lady who was organising the breakfast. The complimentary breakfast is a large spread of crumpets, crossiants, fruit bread, cereals, fruit etc.
The room was really clean with some great little touches - Hershey kisses on the pillow, towels shaped into creations, great quality coffee and tea bags. Great shower pressure and heat!
Love the complimentary port in the hallway.
FYI - the wooden blinds let some of the street light in, if your use to a dark room take a sleep mask.

My partner and myself just decided to go there for a meal hadn't been there before, the meal we had was fantastic cooked beautifully and service was great, atmosphere was great good music. Will definitely go there again.

Noisy! Unfortunately we must have picked the worst night possible to stay. Our room was right above the bar downstairs. Touted as a jazz and cocktail bar we were subjected to a rock performance for 3 hours (classics such as Proud Mary and River Deep Mountain High were played at least twice each) then loud music for another 2 hours. If you are looking for a restful nights sleep I wouldn't stay here on a Friday.

Had drinks and dinner here. Quite a lovely little establishment. The food was very good. Service was spot on and I would highly recommend.

Stumbled across Mollies bar when on a work trip. I had a delicious steak meal cooked to perfection! Thank you Taina and Renee. Beautiful local wine to accompany the dinner. Cocktails looked fab didn't indulge this time but will the next time I return. Keen to check out the accommodation too. Ngā mihi
