We were bummed though that they didn’t tell us about the amenities with the ropes/zip line course, mini golf, etc…and so we ended up missing the opportunity to enjoy it. Our cabin could also use a little attention - stains on couches/chairs, wall paper peeling, our table on the porch was damaged and somewhat un-useable.
Other than those small things we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place!
The place is a super location and concept perfect. But it needs some better cleaning.
Also not good thatbthe restaurantnis not open for meals andvthere is no reference to this. Even when we spoke to the main switch board they had no idea about the openi g times if the restaurant. They thought it was open.
I thought I had rented the cabin on stilts because that was the photo in the listing. This was not the case. I found the information regarding our assigned accommodation unclear; we arrived late in the day and called the provided phone number to inquire about our accommodation, but no one answered. We finally found our accommodation after a bit of a scare. We could only access it via a link sent to our smartphone; we were unable to retrieve keys from the locker at reception using a PIN code that didn't work.
Regarding the equipment, there was very little cutlery (3 forks, no knives, 1 tablespoon, no teaspoons), and there were four of us. It seems an inventory check had not been carried out; we had planned to have dinner and breakfast there.
BUT… 1 toilet building for the entire camping…
NO shade anywhere but inside.
NO kids entertainment like promoted…
Would not recommend this camping for a long stay.
Pay a lot of money and have to make the bed yourself, miss the stretch sheets. Knot to make the bunk bed. Absolutely All the service was in the dishwasher when we arrived. Unreasonable that we have to empty a full machine when we have only used 4 plates and glasses for breakfast. Tv did not work
well kept and the main reception building is just wow.. nice balconies with lounge chairs to sit late into the night and enjoy the flowing river..
