Stranda, Allmenningen 16, 6200 Stranda, Myore-og-Romsdal, Norvegiya 🧭 Map
Nice breakfast, awful beds
On the plus side. Breakfast was superb.
Negative: The springs in the beds are probably 10 times or more past their lifespan. Feels like you're gonna roll out of bed any second and way to soft.
No working ventilation what so ever. So, bathroom will not ever dry up. I guess that’s why the cleaning staff uses detergent Health hazard.
Reception staff (one of them) completely...
Cleanness
They can really work on room cleaning. This is a photo from my socks after the first 5 minutes of walking in the room.
We stayed one night before catching the ferry on Geirangerfjord. Great room and nice meal at the hotel restaurant. The staff were very nice.
Town of Stranda nothing much to do here, hotel is under renovation but fully open. Yuhan at the front counter was help full. Very good breakfast and parking on site.
Hotellet er under oppussing. Lav servicegrad
Hotel with newly change of management
Bathroom had issues re drainage, some plates not clean at breakfast. Except remarkes, very good service and willingness to help.

Stranda, Resvegen 🧭 Map
Excellent location, natural surroundings, and tranquility... There are several cabin sizes to suit different family sizes... It's best to leave the site cleanup after you leave to them... and negotiate this with them to avoid any disagreements later.
The place consists of lovely, stunning chalets overlooking the snowy mountain and the village. Next to the chalets, there's a clear stream flowing from the mountain... I loved this place.

Geiranger, Ørnevegen 200 🧭 Map
Fantastic views from a hotel one mile from the madness that is Geiranger when the cruise ships arrive. The manager and his partner were gracious and accommodating, the hot tub felt great after a long day. Full bar, lovely restaurant, and the manage will take you into town as requested. Or, rent an electric Porsche and explore.
Really enjoyed our stay, room on 6th floor with great views of fjord. Room and bathroom although on the small side was functional. Dyson fan/heater helps keeps temperature in the room comfortable. We were during the shoulder season so Geiranger was kinda quiet, but parking at hotel did fill up pretty quick in the evening. Breakfast spread was one the better on this trip.
Our 7th floor room was spotless, comfortable, and the balcony overlooked the fjord. Coffee, tea, and water available in the lobby. We had 3 breakfasts and 1 dinner buffet in the Hyskge dining room. Delicious food, attentive service, and sweeping views over the fjord. We used the shuttle and the car charging station. Staff were professional and friendly throughout our stay. We enjoyed talking to the owner...
The hotel is located just outside the village of Geiranger, away from the busy center. A shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes, making it easy to get around. Our room (310, Double Room Panoramic Fjord View) offered a fantastic view of the fjord. In good weather, the furnished balcony is perfect for enjoying the scenery. The room was spacious enough, though the bathroom was very small. The staff were exceptionally...
There is possibly no better location than this. Every room faces the fjord. Balcony’s allow you to relax and watch the sun disappear behind the mountains and the Gerainger lights twinkle on. Service was immaculate too!
I had an excellent stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. My room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.I would definitely stay here again.

Geiranger, Geirangervegen 22 🧭 Map
The location in Geirager is unbeatable. The staff are helpful, but the size of the hotel makes it feel somewhat impersonal. Breakfast was extensive and offered something for everyone.
The view of Geiranger Fjord from the room was beautiful.
The breakfast was delicious.
The staff were very kind.
We enjoyed coffee at the cafe in the front of the hotel. I saw a sign about a gift shop/ gallery so I asked and I’m glad I did. It was a great collection of local artists. In looking for the gift shop I got to explore the hotel, especially the new section and I wished we needed a hotel as I’d love to stay there ( but we were on a cruise!)
The Fjord is stunning. The hotel rooms view its majesty.Swimming is just a few steps away .You can warm up in outdoor sauna. The lapping of water rocked.me to sleep like a lullaby. Will return
Excellent location and very helpful staff
Own restaurant good but also short walk to restaurants in town
Very easy for Geiranger to Hellesytt ferry which is a must do fjord trip
The location is not as good as other hotels higher up. The room is very small. I visited my friends’ room in Hotel Union - great views and excellent room and beautiful dining room with excellent views.

Geiranger, Geirangervegen 100, 6216 Geyranger, Myore-og-Romsdal, Norvegiya 🧭 Map
Great location. Friendly helpful staff. Liked the hotel and the room. Couple of problems with the room - door to adjacent room left unlocked, faulty glass shower door. Still overall a good experience.
The hotel is in a great location, right by the fjord, with a waterfall right outside the window. The view of the fjord from the hotel's hot spring observation deck is fantastic! The hotel has a great seafood buffet for dinner!
There is plenty of parking, but the hotel itself can be quite busy because it accommodates tour groups. The location is excellent—right next to the hotel there is a small waterfall and a nature trail that leads directly down to the town. Both breakfast and dinner were good, and the room was decent.
Beautiful location, good facilities, great staff
Nestled in a picturesque natural setting, surrounded by lush forests and distant rolling hills, the air is refreshingly fresh. The hotel is adjacent to a clear lake, and in the evening, the setting sun casts a shimmering light on the water, creating a breathtaking scene. There are also quiet hiking trails nearby, creating a fairytale-like experience.
However, there was a minor hiccup during check...
Location is good. Breakfast was very good. Swimming pools and sauna in the morning were great. Standard room was not good with view to the street and we had to close the curtains for whole stay. The group travellers were too loud at the pool area and in the lobby.

Hotell Utsikten Geiranger - by Classic Norway Hotels
Geiranger, Geirangervegen 348 🧭 Map
Absolutely amazing view and hotel! The rooms are very small, but very clean and appear to be recently renovated (or well maintained). It's a bit sparse in the room (no tv, no frig, not much but a bed and a window). But, who needs a TV when you have this view out your window! The breakfast is small, but high quality and very delicious (it's a very standard Norwegian breakfast, but very tasty). The staff...
The breakfast was great! One of the better ones I have had in Norway in similar ranked hotels. The single room is small and cozy but standard size for Norway. The view is amazing and breathtaking. It's best to stay here if you have a car as it is on the hill looking down at the Geiranger town, hence the beautiful sunset. Town is 10min drive down from the hotel.

Excellent host. Booked a last minute stay here for 4 people (2 rooms) and they were immaculate. We didn’t realise that one of the mountain roads were closed during the winter season (google maps showed it was open) so ended up calling the host who gave us directions using an alternative route which was very helpful. We arrived and were given some good history on the area and tips and pointers of where...
Had a great stay here a few days ago. Beautiful location (just a few minutes away from one of the best viewpoints in Geiranger) and very welcoming host. Ian has been hosting for a while and has a cute travel book where previous guests leave notes of appreciation (including those from Brazil, Israel and Singapore!)
What a wonderful hotel!! The rooms are very cute, spacious and well decorated. The hotel was a bit far from town, but the spectacular view of the fjord made up for it! Our host, Ian, was amazing and went above and beyond to help us have an incredible stay!
