Klækken Hotel was disappointing for the price. The room didn’t meet 4-star standards, especially the bathroom, the shower was poor and there was only one all-in-one product provided. Breakfast was okay but nothing special. The location is quite far from Hønefoss, so you definitely need a car. Overall, very overpriced for the level of service and comfort offered.

Dinner was very limited… there was 1 menu, with a choice of meat or fish as a main course… that’s it. Very expensive too by the way.

The hotel is in a good location, but the attitude of the hotel staff is rather bad. They are not friendly and do not help. Most of the guests in the hotel are on business trips, and the breakfast is very crowded. The Scandic series of hotels have small rooms and outdated facilities. They are not recommended for family travelers.

The train was not running, so I had to take a shuttle bus. The scenery on the mountain was beautiful. The next day I walked down to the city and the scenery along the way was also beautiful.

The hotel is located outside of Oslo on top of a hill with amazing views. The parking is free. The breakfast is very diverse and served in a huge buffet style. The check-in was fast and efficient, too us 2 minutes to check in at reception. The hotel is very clean and spacious. The décor is not very modern but it looks aesthetically pleasant.

Located in the mountains, it's convenient to take the tram to the city center. The breakfast was good. The room wasn't large, but it was okay. Parking is 130 Nor per day.

Location is not suitable for traveling without a car

Amazing location. Wasn't aware there's free washing machine facility that was super convenient. Very helpful staff. Dining options are limited with one option to dine at the hotel, or take away from pizzeria about 10mins walk / Pick up from kiwi store. Conveniently located near the train, supermarket and dorms. Rooms are clean and decorated nicely. Cafeteria is well stocked and full of choices. Wish I could have gotten into the gym earlier in the day but it is reserved for “athletes” till 4 pm.

This place is more like a dorm / college residence, but priced as a hotel. It has a great location if you're into walking / hiking. No information was provided re: services, walking trails, dinner options, etc. (this would have enhanced our stay).

If your stay is not Sunday, most of the shops are open. There's a Kiwi supermarket within 2 minutes drive. Interesting place, that was my first time staying at a sports hotel. Breakfast was good. It's really value for money.

The room is clean and the cleaner is very nice and polite. Ventilasjon system is not good, so the window needs to be kept opened. But the noise from tram is very loud from early morning to late night if you live on the back side of the hotel.

Not the hotel itself, I went there to eat in café, because they have had such a nice buffet. Pretty cool hotel on a great street. I stayed here with my family while visiting Oslo. We really liked the design/decor of the hotel. The buffet breakfast was great. We stayed three nights. Should be a great place to stay; helpful staff, pleasant decor, good breakfast, walkable to city centre. But, across the street (Eilert Sundts Gate) is what appears to be a student house; whoever the occupants are, they were very noisy with loud music late into the night, shouting and singing until the early hours. Even with the windows shut it was difficult to sleep.

Very unimpressed Had to lug our bags ups an awkward round staircase and then duck under low beams, doorways and a massive beam in the middle of the room .wouldn't stay there again and it was also very expensive. Reception and breakfast were nice but room was a disaster.

Very friendly staff and delicious food. There was a lot of choice at breakfast. Less choice in the evening but it was still very tasty. The hotel is very stylishly decorated. The tram stop is only 3 minutes away from the hotel. We are in the city center within 5 minutes. Vigelansaparken is a 15-minute walk away.

The room was very nice and the area was adequate. Breakfast and dinner were included in the stay, and afternoon tea was quite rich. The check-in lady at the front desk could speak a little Chinese, which was a good choice. It was a 20-minute walk to the main attractions. The price was very competitive in Oslo.

My meeting was in Nydalen, thereby a convenient location. The subway station is in the same building as the hotel. 45 minutes to the airport via the central station.

The hotel delayed check-in for no reason. I arrived before sunset.

The service was terrible. Even though we had a "Do Not Disturb" sign, the waiter still entered without permission when we were out for fun. They refused to clean the room during our extended stay. The reason given by the front desk was that we had not checked in and out before 12 noon. This was ridiculous and did not meet the service standards of a 4-star hotel. Bad review.

Coach’s is a very good budget hotel. It is in a good location with lots of shops and restaurants nearby and is within easy walking distance to the main tourist sites. The staff at the hotel were helpful and professional, and the hotel was very clean, and had good WiFi.
