Not the hotel itself, I went there to eat in café, because they have had such a nice buffet. The food great, the location great, the cleaning Thai lady got angry at me for not sorting the plates etc after eating there, how on earth would I know that I had to do that? But I did smile and did as she said. She made my day much worse than it already was!

We booked hotel on Booking without knowing it’s in the hospital with a lot of newborns lol…. Another surprise was a cemetery in front of the hotel, which sounds like a joke.

The rooms are cold, bathroom is horrible - very cold, shower and toilet is from 1980s I would say. Make sure to bring your flip flops cuz you will shower on a cold tile.

There is no hair dryer and no slippers in the room. There is a small TV and empty fridge.

Breakfast was fine, but so little choice. Salad, bread and jam was good, scrambled eggs and bacon had weird bad taste. Breakfast ends at 10am so all food was removed right away. You would meet all newborns of hospital during your breakfast time.

POSITIVE COMMENTS
The reception woman was very cute and polite.
You can also buy coffee, tea and shacks behind the reception.
The territory is quite, no car highways around. Rooms were clean with new bedsheets.
2 towels per person were provided.

Worst experience EVER!!!!!! hotell staff is terrible! Mean, rude and do nit care. Never coming back ever, the food is bad and super noisy in the cantina, and as someone who has been in a very bad car accident and had a traumatic brain injury it was not good! Too loud, dirty, bathroom smells of sewage. Some of the cleaning crew stole our recycling bottles! We had them in a bag and we were just or for a little bit‼️ NEVER COME HERE! NOT WORTH LEAVING A DIME THERE. SO FOR YOUR OWN SAKE DONT GO THERE‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

When we came to the room, there was loads of dust on the shelf and under the bed. Only one out of the two elevators worked during the two months that we were there on the 8th floor. The keys to our rooms got de-activated twice because you had not bothered to check with the hospital how long our stay was supposed to be, and had not bothered to ask of notify us. The food is, for the most part, dry and tasteless.

You get one star for the fact that there was actually a room for us. And another because we're thankful for what we got, although what we got was not very much at all. Like one of your hotel clerks so rudely told us: "This isn't a 5-star hotel". Which is correct. It's a 2-star one. At best.

Very nice and clean.
Staff is helpful and polite.
Meal times are short. The restaurant is open for about an hour and a half for each meal. You snooze you lose. The food is taken away exactly on time, so don't be late.
Check-out at 10am is a bit early.

Some of the nurses dont get the fact that people don't come for leisure but for reasons of sickness. At times they have some bad communication and attitude. For instance when you ask for hot water from their pantry they explained me the procedure instead of offering the water , was with a 2 day old and you are asked to come an hour early than the due time . The restaurant is another pathetic place where no one is instructed procedures and then they seem to start finding fault

Staying here with our new born baby. One receptionist is arrogant and they don't have hot water to drink out of restaurant hours. Even though there were coffee machines available nearby reception which suspence hot water, she didn't allow us to take hot water from it. She spoke so rude in Norwegian. Her attitude is not suitable for a receptionist. This is a bad experience, otherwise ok.

This is really for people who are patients at the hotel, or visiting patients at the hotel.

The hotel is fine. Adequate, and clean, the staff are good.

Paying for parking is evil. Parking for non - employees at the hospital is managed my Europark and is expensive.

Warm food is beyond terrible. It's like heading back to the 1970s in the worst possible way. To pay for lunch is 160 Nok, which should you make you feel pretty sick, and that's before you've seen the warm food.

The cold food is adequate.

Pro tip - Try and head to Espresso House for breakfast or lunch, the food is still pricey but it's not terrible.

There is also a Kiwi supermarket which closes late on the hospital premises.
