Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast and dinner, but unfortunately our room faced a stone wall and on top of the wall a busy road is located and therefore opening the window was impossible because of the noise.

Lived this hotel. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful. It’s nestled in between a great coffee shop and restaurant as well.

This property was beautiful, especially being right on the water. The staff was extremely kind and helpful! The dinning room’s food was absolutely delicious! Downtown had a lot of empty store fronts, but overall, a very beautiful center.

Food and service Cleaning and food. I had 3 nights at the hotel. The food was not something I would call home and tell anyone about and not a single time through these days did the clean the room, make the bed or even changed towels.

My stay was good. Property needs a bit of an upgrade to me.

This place is a great older hotel off the beaten path. The staff is 5 stars. The views from the lounge/dining area are spectacular. Hike up the old ski trail for even better views. Dinner and breakfast were amazing.

Perfect location, good parking It's a very nice hotel. Close the the city centre. I always live the breakfast. I usually go on national holidays, in which case they don't serve evening food. The rooms are basic, but spacious enough with large windows overlooking the city. I love coming back here. They have lots of different staff, and they've all been very friendly.

Always perfect and well organised A quick and friendly check-in. The room was spotless. I had not counted on a free evening meal, but it was very good. Breakfast in the morning had a lot of different things, including Norwegian options. Very nice!

Just perfect, nice, and relaxing I think I've seen different people at the reception every time I went to this hotel, but each and every one is just as nice and helpful. The included breakfast and dinner are also great. So many different things to choose from and all delicious. I love going here.

Served an evening meal as part of room rate. No complaints as the food was good. Best to get down early as the heat lamps don't keep the food as warm as I like. However it was still good. Only thing missing was hot chocolate. :-)

Lacking modernity No double bed available (2 single beds together is not a double bed). TV was old and lacked connectivity for external devices and poor choice of TV channels

We came right after storm but hotel properties were cleared of fallen trees and leaves. Very helpful receptionist.

The guesthouse is very good value . Slightly old but has character and is spotlessly clean . Would highly recommend for a good stopover on way back to Oslo

Old World Charm The shared spaces and grounds of this place give the feeling of staying in a grand estate. The inn keeper is extremely helpful and kind. The property is older and our room was average, but our stay was made memorable by the lovely charm of the inn itself.

Last year we booked spa and lunch in march. Everything was great. We enjoyed both Spa and food. At lunch was big selection of food, good surprise were sushi at the table. We took the afternoon spa package with one meal included. The saunas and wellness are is great, very clean and helpful staff. Food was also great, definitely recommended!

Ok rom, fin utsikt, pent og rent bad! Tidlig og ikke helt tilfredsstillende frokost! Litt ufresh mat og stenger 10.30. Ting ble fort ryddet bort! Kun svart kaffe. Spesiell innsjekking, fikk beskjed om å sjekke ut 11 dagen etterpå mens i bestillingen var det 12. innsjekking pleier å være hyggeligere Pluss for at rommet var klart tidlig!

Lovely spacious self contained apartment. Quaint. Liked the large living room, kitchen area. Bedroom was "intetesting". One of us slept on the large sofa, which was fine. Good smart TV. Great parking. Enjoyed our stay!

Nice and quiet place to stay with friends and family. Recommend staying here if you are looking for a cozy place to stay. It has got that Nordic rustic feel. Easy payment and no hassel. Very affordable than the hotels.

Close to the center. Sufficiently large apartment; with a small kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom on the second floor. Stairs to the second floor a little extreme (too steep). For the off-season, however, the price is a little too high.

It's ok for 1 night stay if next morning you have a flight (it's 12 km from Torp airport). Beds are confortable. Room is nice and enough spacious. You can park in front of your room. Breakfast is served from 6 am from monday till Friday and from 8 am during the weekend (it's nothing special). Close there is also a very nice little town, Sandefjord where I suggest you to take a walk.

It was extremely hot in the room and there was no air conditioning. The bathroom was extremely dated and could use an upgrade.

It’s a nice hotel in Stavern. They also offer a fantastic buffet every Sunday, except on some special holidays. It costs kr.395 per person with one drink of your choice. It’s worth it. Some seafood, fish, meat, salads, desserts and coffee or tea. Delicious food and nice service.

Nice older property. Some elements a bit rough around the edges. Staff consistently nice, but a bit inconsistent in service quality. Breakfast buffet and food at dinner was vas very good.

I had a good stay I stayed for a weekend and I was mostly outside. The room is simple, perfect for a short stay. Bed was soft & comfortable, I slept like a baby. Comfortable beds (though would be better if the beds were able to be pulled further apart as it felt more like a double bed with 2 sets of covers.) Front of house were great, changed room when we were allocated a double instead of twin. Lovely food . Strange display of whale hunting equipment which was a bit unnerving.
