The room was very clean and tidy, just a bit small. And contrary to some online reviews, the water was hot – everything was perfectly fine. The breakfast was also good. It's incredibly close to the airport. Right across the street downstairs, there's a Burger King and a supermarket. Walk a little further north, and you'll find two large shopping malls, making shopping very convenient.

Awesome comfortable 6 nights - great location! We got a partial sea view and partial Mountain View and city view all combined! Loved the wonderful delicious breakfast spread especially! So happy we got this place! The only improvement needed is probably the toiletries :)

The breakfast was good, but the room was very cold. The air conditioning only went up to 24 degrees Celsius and didn't blow any hot air. The room was reasonably clean and tidied daily, but the window glass was cracked which was a bit alarming.

Close to the Arctic Gate, the room offers a fantastic view of the distant snow-capped mountains. The hotel is very new, with distinctive and clean decor. The staff are incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast is substantial and plentiful. The only minor downside is that the location is a bit far out, about a fifteen-minute walk to the main street.

This hotel deserves a perfect 100! Our room faced the sea directly. I mentioned it was for a birthday celebration when booking, and the hotel thoughtfully sent a handwritten card and some delicious macarons, which was such a lovely touch. Staff were very helpful solving my parking garage issue (parking fee not able to be settled with my credit card)

The room is spacious and clean. The sofa bed was already set up before pur arrival. Breakfast is decent with plenty variety.

Room with "limited ventilation" Was asked at check-in if I wanted to pay for an upgrade because my room had "limited ventilation". The problem turned out to be that the window could not be opened properly, which made the room very hot. This is not normal.

The hotel did not meet expectations. The room was quite clean, but really hot. Parking in the parking garage of the shopping center next door was ok, but you should be able to pay for it at the reception.

Travelling for two weeks around Scandinavia and this was the most luxurious, friendly and value for money stay. The views across the harbour stunning and the breakfast was epic!

This hotel was comfortable - great bed and pillows It’s convenient and walkable and the staff were great! The only thing I didn’t like was the automatic bathroom light. Not so nice to have such a bright light in your face at 2am! Shocks you right awake!

Elegant environment, clean and tidy rooms

Location was good. Our rooms were ready early. It was quite busy so the lift was constantly busy and packed with people and suitcases so be prepared to use the steps which were fine. Hotel staff helped book us a larger taxi for the airport. The room was spacious but there were elastics and other garbage left in the bathroom from previous guests when we arrived.

We checked in pretty late like at 2am, and was glad the frontdesk was still open and they very quickly helped us check in without hassle. Decent stay, premium room comes with nice sea port view. Could have made more effort to make parking easier as foreigners are not familiar. Got a parking fine as we did not display the paid ticket but successfully appealed after writing in but caused inconvenience.

If it’s your first time traveling to Tromso and you wouldn’t know if you’d get another chance coming back, then I’d definitely recommend you to stay here. A must. We are so glad we stayed here before continuing our journey to Lofoten. The stay was awesome and it is in the middle of a fishermen’s village. We saw the aurora just in front of the house. It was so beautiful. The house was very clean and well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay and slept very well. We also loved the small details in the house.

This is a 4-star hotel, but they didn’t even provide a complimentary water bottle for welcome, which was surprising. Even many 2-star hotels offer this basic service. Kirkenes is a very small city so there is only 1 small shopping mall 10-15 mins walk from the hotel. Not much to see and shop. The room was very clean and well-equipped. The hotel view was also amazing; we even saw the Northern Lights on our first night. The breakfast offered a good variety too, with yogurt, bread, and even reindeer meat.

They offer free parking at their sister hotel nearby, and there's also a gift shop with reasonably priced souvenirs and postcards.

This is the only hotel in Svolvær that offers breakfast (only Thon hotels do), and the variety is excellent. However, my friend's room on the second floor didn't have an elevator, and our third-floor room had practically no view. The room wasn't very big either.

This hotel is much larger than the one I stayed at in Oslo. When I arrived in the evening, there was a long line for check-in, but it moved quickly. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The view from the hotel window, as shown in the picture, was also fantastic.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the city center's commercial district and major transport hubs. Key city attractions are also very close, and the breakfast offers a good variety. The front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping staff all perform their duties efficiently and work in an orderly manner.

The hotel is conveniently located near bus stops and an airport shuttle, making it perfect for independent travelers. The service is excellent, and both the facilities and amenities are top-notch. I especially appreciated the heated bathroom floor.
