Breakfast selections were excellent  A few hundred meters walk to the main streets either side of the waterfront  Automatic lights in the bathroom were a novelty  They turned off almost instantly during the day when you were still using the facilities but at night stayed on around ten minutes when you were trying to sleep  Shuffleboard table and games in reception were fun

Hotel location is really good. Easy to reach many restaurants. The service is very impressive . My friend just recognized at the airport that he forget his wallet and the reception managed very well to deliver it to us before our departure.

The room is large, clean and tidy. The inner window room faces the hotel stairs, which is not depressing.

Good location in Alesund and a short walk away from the downtown. Rooms are not too big but acceptable. Breakfast for takeaway was organised and was decent with a sandwich and yogurt and juice. Just a short hike away from the viewpoint. Can recommend the hotel.

Great location with bus to airport right outside the hotel! However room has no pantry tea coffee whatsoever. Other than that generally great location!

Good location and good breakfast

The location is excellent, right next to the viewing platform, the breakfast is as rich as ever, and there is a parking space under the hotel. The hotel in Alesund is not very friendly in terms of price.

While the lighting was acceptable, the bathroom had a number of issues. First, the adapter for the flower wine was broken. Second, the bathtub was yellowed. Third, the conditioner bottle was empty. Fourth, the towels were dirty. Breakfast was okay.

The family room is on the top floor and is very large, accommodating up to 6 people. The hotel is right by the port and very close to the city center. It is also convenient to go to the viewpoint.

I choose this hotel every time I go to Alesund

We were very satisfied. The location is great. When the weather is good you can eat on the terrace right by the sea with a great view. The breakfast was plentiful and very good. The room is spacious and exactly like the pictures. You can walk to the center in 3 minutes

The hotel is in a great location, right by the sea. There are cheap public parking spaces at the door, but the number is limited. The hotel's own parking lot is indoors, probably converted from an air-raid shelter. There is a very narrow door inside, and drivers with poor driving skills may not be able to park in it. I saw traces of vehicles scratching the wall of the doorway.

The breakfast was very good, the suite had a nice view, the harbor and the lighthouse were just outside the window. You could also see people diving after the sauna, which was very interesting.

The hotel is clean and sanitary, but foreign hotels do not have any disposable items, you need to bring your own. There is no mineral water or kettle in the room, but there is a small refrigerator.

The environment is quite peaceful, suitable for people who enjoy saunas and swimming. The breakfast is also quite plentiful, so it's pretty good! It was raining when I arrived, so I didn't get a good look at the scenery outside.

The facilities are a bit old. Unfortunately, one of the elevators was out of service and I had to carry my suitcase upstairs.

The room was absolutely tiny, there is no privacy in the bathroom as it's basically a box next to your bed. Had to carry our luggage up the stairs to get to the room. Adjacent restaurant took 10 minutes to acknowledge us and say they're fully booked. Historic building & good location but that's about it. Would not recommend.

Hotel 1904 is a very nice hotel. The hotel is in a beautiful old building but it is totally updated and renovated inside. It is in a great location. It is close to shops, restaurants and the ferry and bus stops.

Great value for money. We were going to tent but it had been raining for most of the day and the grass was more like a swimming pool. Instead we took a room for 800NOK, it came with twin beds and a bunk bed. It also had its own toilet and shower. The view from the room is super. God valuta for pengene i skjønne omgivelser Nydelig beliggende ved fjorden med utgang rett fra rommet. Romslig og rent familierom med gode senger og eget bad. Tilgang til et meget velutstyrt kjøkken. Alt i alt et meget behagelig opphold på et sted som overgikk våre forventninger og som vi gjerne kommer tilbake til!
