I totally enjoyed my stay. Very convenient location. Excellent Caesar Salad at the restaurant. It is an economy hotel so ask for extra towels if traveling solo...

Breakfast selections were excellent
A few hundred meters walk to the main streets either side of the waterfront
Automatic lights in the bathroom were a novelty
They turned off almost instantly during the day when you were still using the facilities but at night stayed on around ten minutes when you were trying to sleep
Shuffleboard table and games in reception were fun

Hotel location is really good. Easy to reach many restaurants. The service is very impressive . My friend just recognized at the airport that he forget his wallet and the reception managed very well to deliver it to us before our departure.

The room is large, clean and tidy. The inner window room faces the hotel stairs, which is not depressing.

The hotel is great, the service is great, and the breakfast is rich. It is by the sea, the scenery is beautiful, and we happened to see two huge cruise ships docked next to the hotel in the morning. The sea water is clear and deep, and it looks black from a distance, but it is actually too deep. The shallow water next to the hotel is azure blue, and jellyfish can be seen everywhere.
However, the room rate is very expensive in summer.
Alesund is a small city, a tourist city, and cruise ships bring batches of guests. There are several large stores where tax refunds can be made.

The hotel's parking lot is large and self-driving is very convenient. The cost of parking for 11 hours is NOK230. The interior of the room is clean and tidy, and there are many people checking in and the check-in is very efficient. It is a very cost-effective hotel in Alesund.

Nice hotel with free parking nearby. Everything is within walking distance.

The hotel was lovely, but weirdly planned out. A big downside that parking is not free eventhough you park at the hotel underground parking. Otherwise nice hotel, nice breakfast.

Decent location in Ålesund. Hotel feels quite modern and the common areas are fresh. Our room felt older and was a bit worn. The bathroom lacked shelf space and had weirdly few places to hang towels. Overall the room was a bit of a disappointment but certainly not terrible. Huge plus to barman Ivan for being very helpful in recommending excellent local beers. Breakfast buffet was extensive and food quality was good.
