Hotels in Barka

Great, clean and quiet place. Recommend to enjoy the view.

I have visited this hotel for a program and it seems very nice. The location is in a bit backward side but still the hotel is beautiful.

When they started few years back,I spent 2 nights with wonderful memories. Its the best resort in Oman 🇴🇲.

In this recent visit we were disappointed with the overall experience. The resort is huge with a lot of greenery and equipped with lot of activities like swimming pool, tennis, cycling to name a few. Swimming pool was particularly dirty and lot of areas require a lot of maintenance. Staff specially Wajid was really helpful and quick to respond to queries. Cycles are charged a nominal fee but were missing...

We chose Al Nahda because we came from Jebel Shams and did not want to return to the capital right away and they offered a very good price online. As the photos looked nice, we decided to book. Oh boy were we surprised when we arrived at the gates of the resort. This place is huge! Just few examples - they give you a map so you could find your bungalow (and it still was not easy) and there are bicycles...

2022:It used to be a special property in the city, but unfortunately it's very sad to see the state it is in today. Not well maintained. Lack of staff, pool not cleaned, ** The children's playground is newly constructed. We love Al nadha resort.. 2019:This was my second visit to this resort. Very nice resort with large pool and huge gardens, with wonderful trees and flora. Breakfast was decent. The...

Good hotel, nice room. Unfortunately no breakfast, otherwise all is fine, Staff is great

Delightful place to stay, huge rooms, spotlessly clean, very helpful team that even opened the restaurant an hour early for us.

I will give full reviews for this hotel .neat ans clean hotel . Very hygienic rooms . Comfortable beds . Friendly staff . From room number 105

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. The check-in was smooth, the room was spacious and very clean, and we really appreciated the daily housekeeping. Breakfast had a good variety, and the staff were always smiling and helpful. The hotel is also close to many restaurants and shops.

The room facilities are relatively new and there is a large supermarket opposite!

Very comfortable - huge room and bathroom. It's across from a Lulu hypermarket and next to a good Indian restaurant - not the most glamorous location (as often in Oman), but it's very convenient. Main downside is that there's no breakfast, but there are good coffee shots in town. Great base if you want to explore Wadi Bani Awf, Wakan etc. - and excellent value!

It was nice experience to stay there. Quiet and clean. The staff are friendly

This was my first time in Oman, but I had a friend stay here. The room was spacious and fairly clean. The service was good. What surprised me was that the cleaning staff politely asked me if I had ever worked in ************. This really shocked me. However, I would like to see your staff trained in etiquette.

Staff are friendly and willing to help.

Great savings on hotels in Muscat, Oman online. Good availability and great rates. Read hotel reviews and choose the best hotel deal for your stay.

Good value for money and decent staff.

Room are available and rates are economical if booked through agoda or booking.com. rooms and bedding were somehow average clean and cockroaches can be seen roaming around. Groceries, restaurants are 1-2 minutes walk away, though this is far from Muscat attractions and need at least 30 min drive to reach any major attraction like Mutrah, Grand Mosque etc.

Good service, if you ask something they'll give it to you but there is no air dryier at all so I had give 4 star. It was clean

The hotel stay was good, as were the interior furnishings. The reception staff were kind and respectful. The only minor issue was the construction noise from the surrounding buildings, but otherwise, the hotel was excellent.

The rooms are very spacious, calm, and clean. It's worth the money you pay. I noticed that some people commented on the cleanliness and gave wrong and negative reviews that are really unfair and untrue.

Great hotel with a great price

Diamond Star Hotel offers exceptional value with comfortable rooms that provide all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The staff is welcoming and attentive to guest needs, making for a very hospitable atmosphere. The location is convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. My only slight reservation was the limited dining options within the hotel itself, but overall, it was...

Neat and clean stag and service very good

Good service, nice staff daily cleaning and sheets changing

Not a good experience. Rooms were smelly

Hotel had smoke smell and were stingy with towels, took very long to serve.

The room had everything we want. The hotel staffs are very kind and nice. The location is great nearby seeb beach. Totally, we had a great experience

Comfortable, friendly staff, good service. Will come back to stay again.

Old fashioned hotel in need of a good refurbishment. But it does the job for now. We stayed one night before leaving for a boat trip from Seeb Marina.

The hotel including rooms look exactly like on the advertised pictures. It is a classic nice city hotel where all the rooms look alike. So not too exciting, but also no negative surprises. The staff was friendly and even when something in the room did not work they fixed it within 5-10 min. The breakfast buffet was good and the included pool is nice. Just later in the day there is too much shade so...

Great experience and hospitality. Would recommend everyone to stay here if you visit Oman. Location is great and nearby the mall.

The hotel is truly very nice, with a welcoming atmosphere, comfortable surroundings, and excellent facilities. The food was delicious, and the restaurant experience was equally impressive — well-organized, pleasant, and enjoyable. What truly made our visit special was Hassan, the Valet Parking Supervisor, and his entire team. From the moment we arrived, Hassan took care of us with genuine kindness...

Very good :) Worth coming again. Cleanliness was also good. Breakfast was average. The hotel's location is good, not in the city center, making it very convenient for business trips. It's only a 15-minute drive to the beach.

Honestly, upon arrival I was surprised to find the room unavailable, even though I had booked and paid in advance. I waited for almost two hours until they finally provided me with a room. Frankly, it was a bad experience in terms of booking, but the rooms and facilities were excellent considering the price.

Enjoy our stay Because we like our stay we will come again after 1 week Special thanks to Mr Azam for his kind service

Great place to have friends meet. Food and drinks

Good Staff... Delicious food... Loved south Indian food...

Try to extend the night business hour for those who wants to drink more..

A great choice for business trips. The price is very reasonable and the room is spacious. I'll definitely book here again next time I'm in town. It was a last-minute business trip booking, and I wasn't disappointed!

The shuttle service was excellent!

good shuttle service and hospitality.

Receprion staff are not helpful

Very friendly, attentive staff. I did not regret at all that I booked this hotel. We stayed after arriving early in the morning literally for a few hours before the next flight. The room is large, the curtains are thick. We slept great. The bed is very comfortable. We had breakfast upon arrival. Everything was generous. Delicious omelet, toast, croissants, sweets, fruits and smoothies. Delicious coffee...

the hotel is not 4 stars , it's a 3-star hotel and not worth value if we compare it with other hotel

Perfect location and nice hospitality by Rina. Very kind staff.

It was a good experience. Away from city, we had our own car so it was very convenient.

The hotel was amazing, the staff are very kind and helpfu..

Was the best place to stay in Muscat

Totally the price was reasonable

The room is good for its price, its clean, tv is not working though and the phone is also disconnected. I had to go the elevator area to use the phone to call reception for some request. But This are small things and I believed it can be fixed. Front desk staff is so approachable and professional. I will probably book again in this hotel.

Clean and tidy, helpful staff, best location where all services within 2 minutes walk and a very good place rest in while spending some time in Muscat ..

Good experience in Oman Palm Hotel Suites I was happy because I got good dealing from the team quite and clean but some equipment in the kitchen were old there were some iron rust need to change and kitchen not very clean as well as limited TV channels only one channel for children.. In general it's wonderful.. all the best

Clean and neat hotel. Best to book online with agoda or booking. Com. It's cheaper. Housekeeping very friendly and helpful however lack cleaning skills in the suites and bathrooms. They do not provide all the complimentary items unless you ask.. Even though it's on the trolley. All the necessary shops are available around the hotel. Taxis difficult to access. Better to rent a car. Very close to city...

Normally is clean and comfortable. Could be improved by providing soundproof as it is near Muscat airport and flights can be noisy sometime. Also noticed cleanliness is not as it used to be when I stayed the previous time

It’s good place to stay in, surrounded by a lot of restaurants and markets, their prices are of average level and it needs some care about maintenance and cleanliness. Overall is good and staff are friendly.

Clean Close to shopping Wheelchair accessible Parking area available Good Wi-Fi TV in room needs maintenance or upgrade
