Stayed here 2 nights. Hotel is clean, modern and situated on the busy outskirts of Nizwa with restaurants walkable nearby. It’s a short (10 min) drive to the centre and the sights of the old quarter. Rooms are clean, comfortable, quiet and a good size. Staff are helpful and we were impressed that a minor maintenance problem in our bathroom was spotted by cleaning staff and fixed while we were out before...

A hotel that exceeded expectations. In all aspects, it is better than other hotels of the same level in Oman. The staff are warm and helpful.

Nestled in authentically Nizwa View, scenic majestic mountains loom along the flowing river beds front and back of the hotel. Functional pools and cozy rooms with excellent foods are served. Highly recommended if you want to visit Nizwa. Overall great stay. Kudos!

Al Diyar was booked by my Omani Travel Agent and I'm sure this motivation was "price". It is a cheap hotel and you could argue it offers excellent value for money. Its location of about 4km from Nizwa souks, there's nothing in the area, so you will need a car. There is a large pool in the central courtyard. I tried to buy a drink from the restaurant, but they only seem to have juice (obviously no alcohol...

I just stayed one night here as a base for visiting Nizwa. The hotel is next a busy highway and needs a taxi to get to the city centre. Check in was quick enough despite lots of photocopying and signing. The room was spacious and mine had fairly unspectacular views of the highway. The bathroom didn't feel particularly clean, hairs in the shower grime in the tiles. The shower pressure was also low meaning...

Although it is not the most luxurious hotel, the staff are really helpful, the food is excellent, and there's plenty of space inside (including a really nice pool) which makes the stay a pleasure. It's a few km from the centre of the town, but it's an easy drive. Fully recommended.

Comfortable hotel, with mamy service like: a varied breakfast (sweet and savory), a swimming pool, a gym, a lounge bar, a good restaurant. The rooms are nice and quote large, with comfortable beds and a mini bar. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was good. The hotel is a bit far away from the city center and the breakfast quality could have bene a bit higher.

This hotel is really amazing. Good service. Checking was quickly and the room was bigger than expected. The room was modernly furbished and very clean. In my opinion deserves this hotel at least 4 stars instead of 3

If you want to get around on your own terms, you'll need a car if you're staying here. Ample parking on site. It's located a few miles away from the Nizwa fort, but getting there is extremely straightforward indeed. We found the on-site restaurant had plenty of options and was very good, so would question the need to go off-site in the evenings, unless it is for something in particular. Breakfast...

In Nizwa new town amongst the shopping malls it was a modern hotel with good facilities and when we interacted with the staff they were very helpful and friendly. The buffet evening meal was a bit of a scrum if all the groups staying come at the same time, so arrive early for best food or later for a bit less chaotic evening meal.

A good place to stay with friendly staff and good service. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Nizwa Fort and the souq are about a 10-minute drive away, and taxis are easily available. O-Taxi was reliable and always on time. The hotel felt slightly on the higher side in terms of pricing, but it seemed worth it given the quieter location away from the main city. We stayed 2 nights at Intercity Nizwa. It's located next to a mall and a Lulu hypermarket, as well as some small restaurants nearby. The hotel has ample parking. It's a new modern hotel. Rooms are mid sized but comfortable and clean. Bathrooms are also smallish but spotless and toiletries all provided. Breakfast is tasty and well laid out with comfortable seating. We came from India to celebrate birthday of my wife and daughter. We stayed in Intercity Hotel Nizwa in three rooms for three nights. Our stay was fantastic. Nice modern hotel with a swimming pool on the roof. Our room had a good bed and shower. There is free WiFi available throughout the hotel. The breakfast buffet was ok. There are 2 shopping malls next to the hotel, but the city center is 7,5 km away. The hotel does not serve alcohol.

Nice hotel, probably the biggest in city centre. We stay 3 nights and evenings are owesome. People walking around and a lot of things to eat. They have parking space. But there is NO pool. Even on some google map pictures is

I met Asaad at the reception, a wonderful personality, who gave us a good hospitality experience. He guided us on all the tourist spots across Nizwa and Jebel Akhdar. He and his team were very kind and accommodated us well. The rooms were neat, clean and gave an authentic city vibe. Would recommend definitely!

I'm not sure why reviews of this place are so low. We stayed for a single night a few months ago and found it perfectly serviceable. Certainly for the cost, its a great option. Heritage village it is. The surrounding gives the vibes of archaeological site. Roads are narrow and challenging but woth the experience. Rooms were well managed and well equipped. Breakfast was very good and u have a selection from American breakfast and Arabic breakfast. Staff was nice and communicative. Recommend for whoever looking to escape to the heritage era🙂

The hotel is in the middle of the city , about 300 meters from nizwa fort , very close to all the major attractions, the property manager Mr. Hussain and his team took care of me every well, would highly recommend this place.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, nice room in perfect location: just outside the city center, but in a quiet, green place surrounded by green bushes and birds. We had a room on the roof, which meant we got the roof terrace to ourselves. Very lovely.

Pros: Excellent location, about a 10-minute walk from the souq and fort (and historical Nizwa) but also quiet enough to get a great night’s sleep. Comfortable bed, great AC, fan too if the AC gets too cold. EXCELLENT WiFi in room 7- super happy I got upgraded me to this room as I had asked for powerful WiFi in order to work. ⸻ We spent two nights at Nima Hostel. I can confidently say it’s one of the best and coolest hostels in Nizwa. It’s only a five-minute walk to the city center, and you can enjoy walking through the charming alleyways at night. The atmosphere of the hostel is friendly, calm, and clean. Hossein is a kind and knowledgeable man, and he’s always ready to help with any questions you have about Nizwa.

The people here are very nice, very polite. The room we stayed was amazing and the bed was the softest, the cleanest and one of the best beds I have ever stayed in. I missed the goat market on Friday because the bed was so nice!
