Hotel Dana Business & Conference in Szczecin

Our experience at this hotel was disappointing. According to the hotel’s website, the room we booked (Superior Double) was advertised as having a smart TV. However, the room was equipped with only a standard cable TV. When we raised this issue with the receptionist, she informed us that she would discuss it with her superiors and get back to us, but unfortunately, we never received any follow-up. After our stay, we checked the website again and noticed that the mention of smart TVs had curiously been removed from the room descriptions.

The bathroom had a bathtub with no protective curtain or door to prevent water from splashing, resulting in significant water accumulation on the floor even after a quick shower. This caused the bathroom to remain wet for hours. Additionally, there was visible mold along the edge of the bathtub. The room’s ventilation emitted an unpleasant odor, and the carpets also had a noticeable bad smell. The lighting in the room was dim and not suitable for activities like reading.

Regarding breakfast, while the food was tasty, the selection was quite limited.
The pool area was another disappointment; the water temperature was inconsistent during our stay and was far from warm. Furthermore, the pool is shared with gym users and residents of the Hanza Tower apartments, which detracted from the overall experience.

Finally, the staff’s behavior was less than welcoming. We were only greeted on a few occasions, which left a negative impression. Overall, the hotel did not meet the standards advertised, and there were several areas where significant improvements are needed.

On a positive note, the hotel is conveniently located, with several shopping opportunities nearby, including the Galaxy Centrum, which is within easy reach. This adds to the convenience for guests who wish to explore the area or indulge in shopping during their stay.
