Spa-Hotels in Lagos

I previously visited this hotel when TUI Blue relaunched it quite some years ago so I knew it was spacious with good sized rooms and grounds. However, PortoBay have refurbished it and raised it to a new level. We had a side sea view room facing up the beach towards Vilamoura, so could see the morning sun rise. On arrival, we sensed our stay would be enjoyable when a porter met our TUI transfer coach...

Everything was perfect and no kids was a plus, a top class hotel absolutely fabulous

On 15 July 2025, the Portobay Blue Ocean hotel was opened, after a thorough overhaul and renovation of the former TUI Blue Falésia hotel. It’s located in Olhos de Água, on top of the cliffs near a marvelous beach, with breathtaking views. It’s an outstanding, spacious and spotless accommodation, which will appeal to those who are looking for a relaxed holiday in the Algarve. The interior design of...

Beautiful hotel which was spotless clean. As an all inclusive booking the only access to food post 6pm was evening meal and felt missing access to snacks in the evening. Very relaxed and laid back setting where nothing was a rush. Maybe some.music in and arou d the pool.area during the day and access to more evening entertainment with games or alternative to jusy the band that were playing would have...

Very placenta and relaxed place. The staffs including domestics makes this place extraordinary. Will highly recommend this place to any body who want to come and relax from a hectic or strainaus work life. Food is delicious. Good bus accessibility to old towm ( get details and bus time table from reception).

I have to say that the sevice at the TUI BLUE Falesia hotel is the best I have ever experienced. The location is great being on top of the cliff overlooking Olhos d Agua and the hotel is first class.

We had a lovely time at the NH Tivoli Lagos. The staff was super nice and welcoming, and the hotel offers some great amenities like a nice pool area and a relaxing sauna. The Highlights: • Breakfast Buffet: Absolutely spectacular! One of the best parts of the stay. • Location: Excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk into the Old Town, and a very quick Uber ride to some of the best beaches in the area...

As I was travelling alone I chose a large hotel with amenities. The hotel was very large and my room was a 5 minute walk away from reception. The room was small but for just me, was perfect. A good shower over a bath and complementary toiletries were provided. There was unfortunately no tea and coffee making facilities. I had a sea view which was a bonus. The indoor swimming pool and gym were small...

Clean room, good location, and a very good breakfast. I recommend it!

Although it's an older hotel, the common areas are well-maintained, and the breakfast is excellent. The room and bathroom were comfortable and had everything I needed. The room's location (standard room) was a bit far from the breakfast restaurant and reception. It was the off-season, so there wasn't much else to do, which was a shame, but it was still good value for money.

Lovely hotel and very helpful staff. Rooms very nice and breakfast excellent. Pool facilities inside a bit dated but gym and outside pool lovely

Big hotel with SPA services. I stayed during winter time and only SPA facilities indoor were available, but in summer they also have an outdoor pool and I think also a partnership with a private beach. The room was nice and clean. The complex is big and there are different building all connected. The breakfast is huge and there a lot of local specialties and more international food. The hotel is right...

The resort is clean and well-maintained but lacks many amenities. The bed was quite uncomfortable, very firm. I wasn't able to sleep well at all. Almost every room has a view of the ocean, which is very cold by the way. There are three swimming pools, one indoors and two outside. The indoor pool is heated, the outside are not. There is an hot tub on site but it is within the spa and there is an $...

Amazing stay. The resort is beautiful, kept very clean, you can see how they do that as it must come from management. Every day we saw what i assume are day to day managers walk the ground and make sure everything is clean, organized and working. The service, entertainment and maintenance staff also are kind and helpful and made our stay wonderful. Foe example, one gentleman found our preference...

We had a lovely view on the 5th floor and could see the sunset from our terrace. Very nice hotel, and the service is really good. The lady who works at the pool bar is a great bartender. We recommend this place if you want a spot that is walking distance to the marina and town (10 mins) but has the nice pool to cool off after a day of touring. Very good breakfast buffet too.

Needs a better gym, the poolside staff could be more helpful. The place is an amazing with ocean views, an amazing 1 hour walk to downtown Lagos, we would consider staying here again.

Holiday has been amazing! Hotel is absolutely stunning and all the staff are great. Sergio and Edwardo were unreal! Always have a smile on their face and so so helpful. The staff are so attentive and always making sure you are having the best time! The cleaners for our room have also been amazing! Will definitely be back

An overall amazing experience. I came here with my parents and boyfriend we had a great time! The hotel is a great luxury hotel with so many facilities, so many food options and the staff was friendly from the moment we walked in. We chose the half board option but at the hotel we got offered to change to all inclusive if we wanted to. I believe this is something I definitely will do next time I visit...

Apartment is modern, clean. Full kitchen. Washer and dryer work great. Restaurant inside hotel serves great dinner.

Stayed in the one bedroom apartment very well appointed for a long-term. Stay excellent breakfast. Restaurant was closed for dinner, so can't comment on that only complaint would be. Spa needs to be open later at night.

Spacious three bedroom apartment was perfect for our three day stay in Lagos. Very clean and well-appointed.

Resort property isn’t beachfront per se but you can’t complain when it’s less than a 5 minute walk.

A challenge to park, but true everywhere in Portugal. Outside pool very cold, but indoor pool very warm.

Fantastic resort with multiple pools with 5 minutes walk to the beach. Our two bedroom apartment was clean and modern. There is ample parking and we felt very safe as two women walking late at night time. I would come back to stay here again.

The service was excellent. The white lady and black gentleman at the front desk were incredibly welcoming. No deposit was required, and check-in and check-out were quick. The hotel was very quiet, and the rooms were fully equipped, especially the kitchen. The view from the window was stunning, making it convenient for watching the sunrise. The only downside was that the outdoor tables and chairs were...

Very nice apartment with plenty of space. Nice kitchen with washing machine as well as dish washer. Bath tube available.

This is the largest hotel I've stayed in in Portugal. The hotel facilities are complete and comfortable, and the service is warm and welcoming. Parking is convenient and free, making it ideal for travelers with cars. The boardwalk to the cape is right next to the hotel entrance, which is very convenient. The hotel's dining is particularly excellent. It's a hotel with great value for money and highly...

Large apartment with all the necessary amenities! Set back from the city center but still easily accessible. At the rear, you can walk for hours to the beach, which is within walking distance, and enjoy breathtaking sunset views over the cliffs…sublime!

Very beautiful resort, right by the Atlantic Ocean with direct access to coastal boardwalk. Amazing and very relaxing. One bedroom apartment was very spacious and well equipped. There were total of 3 pools including spa pool. Breakfast was a good spread although same things were served 2 days in a row during my stay. The only slighr downside is there was construction going on next door during my...

This seaside hotel has large rooms and bathrooms, a large balcony, and the most abundant breakfast in any European hotel I've ever stayed in. All the staff are very welcoming. The hotel is at the starting point of the boardwalk, the surrounding scenery is beautiful, and the price is very affordable. Highly recommended!

A beautiful setting with ocean views. The staff is professional and friendly. The food is good. It would be nice to have breakfast and dinner options other than the buffet.

Loved this hotel, great location in Lagos and great if you have a car to explore Algarve. Staff was lovely!

This property is stunning ! Pool Was amazing , room comfortable and food was great. Will be back !

The best thing about Hotel Clube Porto Mos is it's location. Glorious sea view on top of the cliffs, beach a couple of minutes walk (with 2 excellent fish restaurants, reasonably priced), and yet only 2 miles from the town (only €4 for Uber). Thoroughly recommended; I didn't see any other hotel in the area that I would have rather have been, thank you.

Brown water coming out of shower, sink, and toilet. Said it was normal. Not the best service, but good location.

The hotel needs a renovation but overall it is still a good deal if you have a room with seaview, this makes up for some shortcomings. The interior of the room is dated but decent, except for the sofabed, this is bad. The breakfast is good but after a few days it gets monotonous. The hotel is near a beautiful beach but there isn't much to do in walking distance.

The apartments are randomly assigned and sometimes the pictures are not the same as you will gets

Nice large apartments with 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, nice kitchen… should have stayed here longer instead of leaving for Albufeira…

Property was average. Room smelled a bit like pee and no hand soap was provided. There were plenty of linens, it was walkable and never struggled to find parking. The covered parking was underground and the spots were TINY and nearly impossible to use with a rental car that you’re not accustom to. Staff was nice.

Nice dept for a family of 5, well equipped and really well located about 15 minutes from downtown and nice beaches. Totally recommend for families with kids

A little far out of the town & away from the beach. The staff are excellent. The Little Shop is fairly good. The apartment was clean & comfortable however the hobs are a pain every time you clean them if you are not very careful you turn some of them on. Nice balcony. We were fortunate enough to miss the school kids. I can imagine it could be pretty noisy then as there is almost no soundproofing. If...

Best pool I've ever booked for a holiday. Refreshing, big and deep. I was able to swim laps every day. Great range of sun loungers and tennis court. It was quiet in October. Food at the pool was okay. Great ice cream. The room had a massive balcony but the beds were very hard. The bedroom was a little musty. TV was awesome. Bit of a hill to walk down to the main down. It's good for the heart. Also...

Nice and close to the downtown and grocery store. Would book here again.

Room is clean, with good spaces. The balcony is okay. View is fine. Easy connections to major places like the marina Lagos. And only 10-15 minutes walk you can arrive many restaurants. 7/10. The blanket is not comfortable and the pillows are not comfortable too.

Pretty average ok location on top of hill so might not be right for older couples or young families It was clean in communal areas but the room was average

The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay more pleasant. The hotel itself does not provide on-site parking, but there is a public parking area about a 2-minute walk away. During the low season it was fine, though availability might be an issue in peak periods. Walking to the city center is possible, but it does take some time. The room was small but as expected for this category. I...

Warm reception, great rooms, yummy breakfast

A kettle in the room would be a plus. Also our bedding wasn’t changed only tidied and tucked in : (

Lovely boutique hotel. Breakfast is excellent and staff lovely. Only thing to be aware of is that parking is on street, which wasn't a problem at this time of year but may be an issue in busier months

We stayed at this hotel as a couple in February during the off-season and really loved it. The property is beautifully designed with lots of care and charm. There are several small pools throughout the area which look great (even though we couldn’t use them due to the season). The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive. Any wishes or requests were always met right away, and we felt very...

The rooms are very clean, well maintained, and comfortable, and the location is perfect — close to everything yet still quiet and relaxing. The real highlight, however, was the breakfast. Truly the best I’ve ever had in this kind of accommodation: every day there was something new, always fresh, delicious, and with plenty of variety. A wonderful way to start the day. The only small downside was the...

This is a cozy little villa style inn that is only a 15 minute walk to the Old Town as well as three or four beaches. The area is quiet with a number of small restaurants to grab dinner at. It was three small swimming pools, although one is a private pool for room #12. Plenty of plants on the property to give it a warm feel. I would stay again if I end up in Lagos again.

Beautiful hotel with excellent breakfast. Walkable distance to beaches

A great place to stay! Close to beaches and downtown. Check in was friendly, breakfast was excellent and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Would highly recommended a stay here.

Hotel at good location right in front of famous beach and trail. Hotel room is good but partial seaview needs ypur effort to go out of balcony and see. Good breakfast and view from restaurant.

The location was excellent near the beach but the room was very bad a family room one of the wall sides of the room was not straight and very narrow the ceiling and the wall was leaked as if it was raining on the beds and the wall was very wet .

Perfect location! Right on the beach and 20 minute walk into the city. Very clean. Nice pool. Delicious restaurant with breakfast included.

Beach access and quality the best!! Apart from a seaweed problem at one end, but not a problem. Room was simple but spacious and airy with stunning views of sea and sunrises. (Junior Suite 4th floor).

The hotel is right next to the beach with all the amenities you need to enjoy a getaway. I only wish I could stay longer.

Great hotel! Good value for money. Notes: Breakfast could have more options. More umbrellas by the pool. All in all - great stay!

Perfect apartments for family holidays. Very few beer, football and noise types. Aimed as a family destination, walking distance to Meia Praia beach, 2km. Ample space, on site tennis and pools and a restaurant.

We stayed in a lovely 3 bedroom townhouse in August , the rooms wereso clean and had everything we needed for our short break. The staff are all lovely (apart from the girl who works in the bar who was very miserable ) the pool area is lovely and peaceful and we never had problems getting a sun bed. We went into town a few times and this only cost €4 in an Uber. If you want a nice peaceful break this...

Our 3 bed villa/house was fantastic. Spacious, clean and well equipped. The grounds are beautiful and really well looked after. Pool area is lovely with beds always available. Check in was a little late, just before 4 (as advertised) after an early flight. It is rather remote. You can walk to the beach in 15 minutes, but it's uphill on the way back. The road into Lagos is too narrow to walk. No shops...

Amazing place, so clean and cozy, with unlimited access to exotic swimming pool. Very good contact with landlord . I couldn’t imagine better place to spend my well deserved holiday 🌴🍹

This is our fourth time returning to Jardim and we love it - as do our children. Such a peaceful relaxing resort that is impeccably maintained and has properties that include full self catering facilities. We generally rent a car and would recommend this.

This is our fourth time returning to Jardim da Meia Praia. We love it and could not recommend highly enough. Quiet, safe, spotlessly clean and well maintained. We plan to return again.

A proper and beautiful hotel, should have five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They offer a really nice, big and good selection of breakfast buffé, second best i had in town. 👍 They have a big pool area and a bar close to it, and they have a big screen tv on - if you are in sports (this weeks eu-fotball). ⚽

A decent and beautiful hotel should have five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They offer a really good, large and good choice buffet breakfast, the second best I have tried in the city. 👍 They have a large swimming pool and a bar next to it, and they have a big screen TV - if you are into sports (this week is eu-fotball). ⚽

A very decent hotel in the city center near the marina. I recommend the pool and a room with a sea view.

Great place, near restaurants, lot's of nice apartments for rent.

Excellent place, clean, friendly and attentive people. Congratulations 👏👏👏

Very clean and the staff was very kind and we had no issues whatsoever. Had a pleasant stay at the resort. Would recommend!

Great place to stay in Lagos! The area was super convenient, a short walk into Old Town and directly in the marina and on the river. The breakfast was super delicious. The french toast was the best I ever tasted. The room was nice and spacious. The only negative is the room wasn’t cleaned well. There was still sand in the shower after cleaning and crumbs on the floor. Other than that it was a super...

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, Vivian and Gabriela at the reception made us feel incredibly welcome. They were always friendly, professional, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Their recommendations were excellent and really made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was spotless comfortable,...

We loved our stay! Had to get a new room at first due to a smoke/must smell and that took quite some time but after that it was great. Loved the breakfast. Delicious hot items to order plus sparkling wine! Loved the pool and rooftop bar. Bartender was great!! Location was perfect with a quick 3-5 min walk to the main shops and restaurant and right by the overpass walkway to the marina

Loved this hotel! Right across from marina for all your boat or kayak needs, short walk to beaches and to the old town area. A market and cafe are right behind the hotel but anything you’d need is very walkable. It’s the best of everything! Hotel staff was very kind and attentive, especially Robbie at the roof top bar and Ekatrina at the front desk who gave us a map and some suggestions for our stay...

Lovely hotel. Wonderful rooftop pool, and excellent restaurant. Appreciated that delicious and expansive breakfast was included. Free street parking (but limited). Don’t bother paying extra for the “marina view” since the road traffic is SO LOUD that you cannot leave your balcony door open (also takes away from the view, especially from lower floors). Also a little odd that toilet and shower are glass...

Absolutely fantasic rooms and service in Lagos Marina. Breakfast was amazing. Restaurant was super amazing. Service and staff was top notch and rooms were very nice. Would recommend this hotel anytime!

Fast check in. Free parking and breakfast included for the price. Room fit enough and no complaint for the price. Gives you all you need to sleep.

Really appreciated their location. The manager on days was extremely helpful with information and parking.

I would absolutely stay here again! It was clean and comfortable, while still being affordable and in the heart of Lagos. We had a cute little terrace which was a lovely surprise!

Pleasant staff but cleanliness that leaves something to be desired… The sheets are not changed when they “clean” the room and the breakfast is really disappointing… We remain mixed with our visit because despite the very kind and smiling reception staff, the hotel in itself and bad … Go your way because for the price, we expected better...

+Big room with excelent mattress and pillows. +Extremely quiet at night. +Big balcony. +Nice staff. +Daily room cleaning. +Good breakfast. -Elevator out of service so we had to take the stairs daily (4th floor).

Very clean . Staff really friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast.

The property and staff were excellent, the breakfast had plenty of choice and everything was well presented and fresh. The room was clean and air, views from the balcony were excellent. However the bathroom has obviously been used for a disabled person previously and although very clean was in need to some TLC. On the way to the property there is a lot of development ongoing, but once inside this was...

Beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms and beautiful ocean view. The only negative is the pool is freezing. They should heat the pool.

Incredible customer service, Anabella was extremely helpful in suggesting activities around the area. The views from the property are amazing. Top notch hotel.

Private and first class This was an amazing property with gorge on views, beautiful facilities and great service. The room was huge and had a large terrace overlooking the ocean. The hotel food and beverage was solid, room service prompt and friendly, and the breakfast had many choices. We would definitely visit again!

Excellent property. The staff is friendly, the breakfast was amazing and the checkout is at 12:00pm which is great. The only thing it needs is a gym and a spa and it would be perfect.

This is a very good apartment/hotel and I like it because the service is reliable👍

The room was clean, staff was polite. On my last night the WiFi didn’t work, the phone in the room did not work and the call button near the unattended reception room did not work.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Mar Azul. The room was extremely clean, spacious, and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the compact kitchen, which made it convenient to prepare light meals. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, which really added to the experience. The room also had a private outdoor area — a perfect spot to enjoy breakfast in the morning. The...

We had the most amazing stay here! The apartment was perfect and had everything we needed. The staff were lovely and so helpful. Very close to a beautiful beach!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Staff very helpful.

Nice location, good price quality ratio
