I ate here with some friend's. It was absolutely lovely in the sunshine, sitting out with some good food. Portions are great and taste is very nice also. Would love to visit again soon.

Was staying here on 31 of March 26 with my partner. We had a lovely time until the next morning. We were leaving the car park around 8:15 when a Anthony the msnager ran out from the hotel & chased a woman down the road & shouted at her for parking her car in the hotel grounds. The manger was clearly not having a good morning as he told the woman to f...ing move her car in the middle of John's bridge. The woman was physically shaken & crying after this. I wont return to this premises knowing he was working there. No need to verbally abuse a woman that hour of the morning or any morning

My wife and I recently stayed at the Kilkenny River Court Hotel and had a truly wonderful experience. The location couldn’t be better — right along the river and just a short walk to everything in the city center, including the castle, shops, and great pubs. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. Our room was well-kept, quiet, and made for a relaxing stay after a full day exploring Kilkenny. What really made our visit stand out, though, was a staff member named Owen. He was incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful from the moment we arrived. He took the time to answer our questions, offered great local recommendations, and made sure we felt taken care of throughout our stay. It’s clear he takes pride in his work, and his positive attitude made a big impression on us. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend the Kilkenny River Court Hotel to anyone visiting Kilkenny. Great location, great atmosphere, and outstanding service

Dissatisfied Room 149 is only suitable for a single occupancy. The room is small. The shower access is over the bath. No . It feels crowded with two people in the room despite having a large bed. We have no where to sit only across the room. Not suitable for a couple!

I love this hotel and staying midweek is unbelievable value. The location is unbeatable and is so near to all shops, pubs, restaurants and attractions. The breakfast is brilliant and never let's you down.

We never stay anywhere else when visiting kilkenny. The River Court is so convenient to the city centre and the river Nore. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast, and all round very good value for money. We have stayed here on many occasions over the last few years and are looking forward to going back already. 😀

Most enjoyable weekend at Kilkenny River Court Hotel with the highlight an outstanding dinner in the Hotel Restaurant on the Saturday night. Best value for money in an Irish hotel/restaurant in a long time. But overall a great experience, very friendly reception staff, location perfect and rooms spotless. Would just love to see the hotel get a lick of paint on the outside but that didn't take from anything.

My wife and I had a lovely 2 night break at the rivercourt hotel, we've stayed a few times now and are always delighted with it, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, the rooms a big bright and spacious, and the food is great, Monique on reception was lovely as were Helen and Nicole in the bar, they always had time for a chat and always smiling, then later on I met Tiago and Daryl in the bar, brilliant at their jobs and very entertaining, we look forward to our next visit, soon I hope, thank you.

We stayed at the Rivercourt to celebrate my husband's birthday, and it was absolutely brilliant from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Honestly, I couldn't find a single thing to fault! We stayed in the suite and it was worth every single penny. The room was gorgeous, and I have to mention the bed it was genuinely one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in. We decided to have dinner in the bar, and the food was spot on. My husband ordered the steak and I went for the vol au vent, both were packed with flavour and really hit the spot. What really made the stay special though was the staff. Everyone we met was so friendly and welcoming, which just added to the whole experience. Would definitely recommend and we're already talking about when we can go back!
