Had a great stay here. The staff were super friendly and incredibly helpful. They always smiled when I asked questions and explained everything very clearly.
The room price was reasonable and breakfast was included. The bathroom was clean, and the common areas were neat and well organized. Everyone was respectful, which made the stay very comfortable.
The bed was comfy and looked exactly like the photos posted.
The location is perfect, right in the heart of Chinatown. It’s close to two MRT stations (Maxwell and Chinatown) and also very near bus stops, making it easy to get around. There are many convenience stores nearby, and there’s a famous Hainanese chicken rice shop right downstairs.
I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and was very satisfied. There’s a camera in the room, so I just kept my luggage neatly in a corner. Lockers with passcodes are available if needed, but I didn’t use one as I felt it wasn’t necessary.
However, since the price is very affordable, it may not be suitable for light sleepers. You’ll be sharing a room with others, and while the rule is to stay quiet, there can still be noise. Especially at night from garbage trucks outside. I’m an easy sleeper so it didn’t bother me, but if you’re sensitive to noise, you may want to consider this.

Overall experience for me it's good hostel, when you look for budget price of a place to stay few days, travel here , can consider it. because location and room roughly said that is convenient and comfortable. If you are not a picky person. thank you for everything and friendly staff.

Cube hostel Chinatown is conveniently located (5 min walk) from MRT and has many restaurants/shopping stores around. The hostel itself has a clean and kept space. Cubes are large with comfortable bedding. Walls are thin so sometimes you could hear muffled talking next door. Breakfast is mediocre (toast, coffee/tea, and cereal), nonetheless it’s included and still tasted good. Friendly staff. Would stay again as a solo backpacker.

The "Boutique Hotel" name is misleading; this is a hostel, plain and simple. While it’s one of the cheapest options in town, the low price comes with a significant drop in quality compared to other stays.

The Cons:
Noise: The pods are private, but the walls are so thin you can hear neighbors as if they’re right next to you.
Maintenance: Our ceiling leaked during the rain, and the wall sockets only work if you wiggle the plug at a specific angle.
Hygiene: The carpets are stained and have a noticeable smell.

The Pros:
Service: The front desk staff were the only highlight; they were very nice and helpful.

Bottom Line: You get what you pay for. If you’re okay with shared bathrooms, thin walls, and some grime to save money, it’s fine… just don't expect a "hotel" experience.

Avoid this hostel. I made a booking error and cancelled within minutes—literally immediately after realising I'd selected the wrong dates. I then rebooked the correct dates. The hostel charged me in full for the cancelled booking (~$600 SGD), refused to transfer the payment to my new booking, refused to let me change the dates, and refused any form of credit or goodwill gesture. They kept my money and gave me nothing in return. When I asked them to show basic human decency toward a student traveller who made an honest mistake, they responded with copy-paste corporate language about "policy." They could have easily applied my payment to the corrected booking—same guest, same hostel, dates just one day apart—but chose not to. Zero flexibility, zero empathy, zero customer care. I've travelled extensively and never been treated this poorly by any accommodation. Book elsewhere.

Good-value capsule hotel. Location is perfect, friendly staff, free and fast wifi. Free breakfast from 7:30am - 10:30pm, be sure to go there early tho, one day I went at 10pm and most foods were gone. There are 12 toilets/bathrooms in total, that's more than enough and I never needed to wait during my 2-night stay. Tho there was no door for the bed, just a blind, you will have to lock personal stuff separately (bottom of the bed) which is annoying sometimes. Since there was no door, it could be noisy sometimes at late night or early morning, tho they have earplugs for you to borrow.

It was a great experience. The customer service was great. Internet was fast. Cleanliness is better than most capsules hotels out there. Thanks for excellent hospitality.

Good choice for backpacker, single or group traveller. Near MRT Chinatown station. The room was clean and crew was nice too, hotel also provide breakfast and laundry for free. And the most important is for luggage safe, the hotel provide a box for every tenant with security locking system under the bed, so you can leave your luggage safely while you go around.

Perfect location in china town and opposite a great hawker Centre for cheap food. The rooms contains more beds than it specifies online. My room had space for 14 people, not 6. Clean facilities.

It was great fun and I got some good sleep in there. The downside was that I had the first bunk in front of the door and could barely get my stuff out of my locker as I had to put it all back in whenever someone wanted to go through the door. Also the breakfast was really not so good. Another downside was that you had to walk through the breakfast room to get to the showers...
