This hotel is right next to the subway, making travel very convenient. At noon, there were many staff in the lobby helping with check-in and check-out, and they were all very friendly. I stayed for 4 nights, and communication was seamless as everyone spoke fluent Chinese.

The twin beds, at 1.37 meters each, are perfect for families. It's very quiet, so we slept exceptionally well. The location is absolutely fantastic, right by the City Hall subway exit, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.

The hygiene was poor, and the air conditioning temperature limit was very inconvenient. The hotel pool was under renovation. The main issue was the uncomfortable air conditioning; I couldn't even get it cool enough, as the lowest setting was 21 degrees.

The hotel rooms are indeed a bit dated, just as mentioned online, especially coming from the Mandarin Oriental. However, it's very family-friendly, with great kids' club and pool facilities perfect for children, giving it a true resort vibe.

Shangri-La's service is famously good, but the facilities are too old. The TV must be twenty years old, right?! The shower in the bathroom isn't sealed properly either, and the breakfast isn't great.

The environment here is fantastic! The hotel has its own private beach. Besides the large swimming pool, there's also a splash pool, some simple water park facilities, a gym, and a small kids' play area, making it perfect for families with children. The hotel's location is unbeatable! It's super close to the Sentosa Express station, Universal Studios, the S.E.A. Aquarium, the shopping street, and even the Harry Potter experience – perfect for hot weather since you won't be exposed to the sun! The only downsides are that the pool is a bit small, and breakfast is shared with other hotels and is a bit of a walk away.
