Hotel Boss, Singapore1 / 25
8.4
Singapore, 500 Jalan Sultan Road (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Great experience throughout my stay at Hotel Boss. Due to unavoidable reasons, I had to seperately book an additional 2 nights at the hotel (in advance), the staff were extremely accommodating and we were able to stay in the same room for the 3 nights we were there. The pool was relatively large considering the price and location of the hotel. It can get crowded sometimes. The gym is smaller than...
A good place to stay at a fairly reasonable price for a short trip to Singapore with family. Very convenient to reach by MRT or bus. Also, easy to ride Grab because the pickup point is just outside the lobby. There are many restaurants and convenience stores on the lobby floor. The rooms were clean and tidy, although quite compact. If you have a lot of luggage, the room space could be tight, but if...
Decent hotel with a view. Levander metro station nearby. Also lots of supermarket and fast food (BK, MCD) options. Lobby smells really good :) Rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the bed was comfortable for a good night’s sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Good value for money and a convenient base for exploring Singapore. Would consider staying again.
This is a great hotel! We arrived really early and were able to check in right away, which was super convenient and thoughtful. The room was decent, and with two beds pushed together, it was really comfortable for our family of four. Highly recommend!
This hotel had a lot of facility. And you can reach a lot of facilities near this hotel. Had a loundry coin +1000 poin for backpacke
Good location. 3-5min walk from the metro station. Room was pretty small but super clean. James at the front desk was friendly and helped us out with an early check-in and also gave us a late check out. We were able to store our bags after checking out since we didn’t fly out until later. The pool area is very spacious! I found it a bit strange there was so much space and not very many pool-lounge...

quick Check in and got the keys to the room. Good location. Proximity to MRT and eateries. Value for Money.
Pretty good, better than I expected! The only downside is the soundproofing isn't great. The location is super convenient, and the food court downstairs is clean with a decent selection of Chinese breakfast options. The pickled chili peppers are delicious! It's reasonably priced, but they don't provide tissues. The room is a bit small.
I had a pleasant stay. The location is excellent; surrounded by malls, local eateries, authentic restaurants, and fast food options. Cafes and laundry services are conveniently nearby, and the easy access to both MRT and bus stations made my business trip smooth and efficient. The staff were courteous and even surprised me with a small birthday gift, which added a personal touch to my stay. Overall...
Great location. I always book this hotel. During the weeday i usually get the corner room with bigger and better views. Theroom is clean and the bathroom also ok.
I really liked the hotel. It had everything I needed, and instead of bottled water there was a water filter, which was very convenient. The breakfasts were also good, with a nice variety of food to choose from. The only downside is that there are 6 elevators and sometimes you have to wait for a long time, but it wasn’t a big issue for me.
The location is awesome and close to the MRT. My room’s bathroom is super smelly and disgusting. The bed are not comfortable. Overall the stay is not comfortable.

Room was on the tiny side but clean. Unbeatable location. Easy check in and out.
Room is not spacious but got everything you need. Electronic bed make you think of the bed in hospital ward 🤭 Streaming service is available on third TV so that you can mirror your YouTube/Netflix on it. WiFi is not stable. One day i found the housekeeping forget to put back the handtowel.
Nice location, the room size is small but you do get everything you need. Reception service is great, one thing to consider is that it’s very busy so early check in is very difficult!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (10/10) I had an excellent stay at this hotel and would absolutely recommend it. The room was spotless, well designed, and very comfortable. The bed was especially cozy, which made it easy to rest after long days of exploring. The location is ideal, close to transport, restaurants, and main attractions, which made everything very convenient. The facilities were well maintained and everything...
I stayed here with my husband for 2 nights. Its a good quality/price hotel close at Orchard road. Close to MRT and bus station to go anywhere you like. The room is small but comes with a great view ! Thank you
Booked for mom's birthday. Mom was full of complaints that the room has no closet, bed too high, toilet and shower has floor to ceiling window, pool has no jacuzzi... Until the staff sent up a little box of donuts then she was happy with everything 😆

It have been too comfortable that we have decided to extend for one more day of stay over here. As per usual, we have enjoyed ourselves, get to rest much, relax more over here. Rest is indeed never enough. Was using the swimming pool and they have ran out of towels. We waited for quite sometime for the towels to be delivered and ready. Other then that, we are really happy and contented during our...
It was a very pleasant stay 4D3N at Grand Mercure Roxy Singapore. Upon arrival, we were kindly upgraded to a bigger room for free by a staff member named Yoomin, which made our stay even more comfortable and memorable 🤍 Location-wise, the hotel is very convenient: • About 15 minutes from Changi Airport • Marine Parade MRT station just 2 minutes walk • Hawker centre around 5 minutes walk • Parkway...
We enjoy the trip to stay for 5 days. We can enjoy to go everywhere because the location just in front of the MRT station. Local food can be search in across the hotel, Promenade Market or just go to the Parkway Parade Mall beside. Thank you Grand Mercure Roxy.
The location is super convenient, right outside the MacPherson MRT station. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, but the cleanliness and service are top-notch. Breakfast is also very generous. Honestly, I can't find anything to complain about.
Fridge disgusting.. Wanted to keep things also can’t.. But the front desk service is professional.. Location is good.. Hope this issue can be improved.. We will be back again..
This hotel is excellent! The service is efficient; they immediately offered a room with an extra bed for our family of three. The location is superb, with popular shops, supermarkets, and great restaurants all within walking distance, plus a sea view. Some front desk staff here tend to give Chinese guests rooms on less desirable floors. The air conditioning unit outside my assigned room was incredibly noisy at night, so I asked to switch. While they did resolve it, it really soured my mood! And the view outside the window was absolutely shocking 😠
Exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is quite refined, and the location is excellent, right next to a shopping mall, which I unfortunately discovered a bit late. You don't even need to go to Orchard Road for shopping or dining; you can access the mall directly from the second floor. The hotel's cleanliness is good, and the facilities are fine. However, they don't provide bottled water, claiming...
I was thoroughly impressed with Hotel Jen. The room was spacious and bright, equipped with complete and modern facilities. Its prime location offers great convenience for transportation, with a wide array of dining and shopping options nearby. Overall, Hotel Jen is a highly recommended choice for a quality stay. I strongly recommend it!
Hotel was located conveniently near Orchard Boulevard MRT station (brown line). Room was clean but amenities felt lacking. The TV wasn’t a smart TV and it didn’t allow screen-mirroring. The pool was also too packed at 4+pm. We paid for club privileges which was an absolutely disappointing experience. Teabreak options were salad and 2 types of cakes (cheesecake and kueh lapis), with unlimited soft drinks...
The room size was just right, and the hotel environment was grand and clean. There were staff members who spoke Chinese, which was a great help. The hotel building itself is a mall, so there's food, drinks, a pharmacy, and a supermarket all conveniently located. You can see the hotel right from the subway station, making travel super easy. The breakfast was delicious too! The pool on the ninth floor...
This hotel is super close to the MRT station, just about 100-200 meters away. On the second floor, there's direct access to a mall which has a few eateries and a big supermarket. The room itself is on the smaller side, similar to what you'd find in a Japanese hotel, but it's perfectly adequate for a comfortable stay. The hotel's breakfast buffet is quite impressive; my daughter even said it was the...

Affordable hotel with excellent service, wide selection of bfast food, all tasty, impressive sustainability effort. Located so close to the bus stop and <10min walk to the train station, will definitely recommend to friends.
Service is super good by every crew. Room is clean and comfy. Hotel breakfast is quite nice. Overall good experience. Location is strategic if you are travelling for business purpose near Jurong / Vision Exchange
The standard of service provided and the facilities worth every penny spent. A bit far away from the nearest MRT station by walking if you carry luggage especially during the sunny day.
The hotel's location is very convenient, right next to a subway station, and there are two large shopping malls nearby, making shopping easy. Taxis can pull right up to the hotel entrance. The gym was good, just closed too early. Breakfast was also quite nice, not sure if it was Indian style or something else, but there were plenty of choices. The room was clean and a good size, and there are some temples nearby.
I booked a room for 4 nights. After staying for 2 nights, the bedding remained the same. On the third night, after showering and sitting on the bed, my skin started itching. I immediately called to have the sheets changed. The front desk didn't even mention that the on-duty housekeeping staff was male, so I opened the door in minimal sleepwear, and he rushed in to change the sheets. The itching was...
There are many Ibis hotels in Singapore, and this one is conveniently located with clean rooms. In my room, the bathroom exhaust fan had a noticeable low-frequency noise, and since it was linked to the bathroom light, I barely used it during my stay. First stop in Singapore! It was raining all day when we arrived, and we were quite a mess, lugging suitcases and with my daughter in tow 😂. Google Maps' directions were also quite convoluted... Booked through Trip.com, and my client and I accidentally double-booked. The hotel refused to issue a refund, and even with Trip.com's active assistance, we couldn't cancel successfully! Great location! It's a 10-minute walk to the subway station, and there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel that goes directly to Clarke Quay. The hotel is good and clean. The room was a bit small but perfectly adequate. The location near Orchard Road makes it convenient to get there. Facilities are comprehensive, but the Wi-Fi in the room was a bit spotty.
The room was very clean, and the staff were all super warm and polite. My flight was delayed, so I even asked for a late check-out, which they accommodated! The only downside was that breakfast wasn't very good. 😭 But every night after coming back from exploring, I'd head downstairs to the grub for a bite and a drink, and I was really happy with that.
Stayed for a week and had a fantastic experience. First off, the hotel facilities, bedding, and cleanliness were definitely worth the price. Plus, the transportation is convenient; there's a bus stop right outside, and the subway station is just a 10-minute walk away. The breakfast was also quite good. All in all, I'll be back next time!
Having good amenities and located in a very good location with lots of greenery. Will definitely book again for future stays.
Booked a deluxe room here for New Year’s Eve. Honestly, the location on Stevens Road is a nice middle ground—quiet enough that we didn't get stuck in the Orchard traffic madness but still felt like we were in the mix. The room was what you'd expect from a decent hotel in SG. Clean, modern, lots of light wood which made it feel pretty airy. My kids absolutely loved the bed basically claimed it as their...
Mercure on Stevens is a good hotel with decently sized rooms. One thing to note is their green initiative, they don’t clean the room daily, and housekeeping is done every third day. The hotel lobby is quite impressive and you can really see its former grandeur, which the kids loved. The service was good. However, the room had an odor, which is a common issue with older hotels, and I hope they can improve on that. It's very close to the subway, making transportation really convenient.
The hotel facilities are a bit dated and definitely need an update. I stayed here for another four days, and I'd say everything was just average. It felt a bit more humid here compared to other hotels.
The surroundings near the Singapore River are quite pleasant, and it's within walking distance to Fort Canning Park and Clarke Quay.
The location is very good. Few mins to MRT. Hotel looks good outside. But few things not good in hotel rooms. - blanket is a bit moist. - mildewy smells in the room - the bed sheet was not replaced during my stay. There's a 7-Eleven right next to the hotel, and the nearest Sheng Siong supermarket is a 10-minute walk away. Havelock MRT station is also just a 6-minute walk. Overall, it's pretty good.
the service was great, friendly staff. location was okay, had to walk to get to the station
The hotel is in a good location. Close to the MRT, the Tiong Bahua area and a short walk to China Town area, The room itself looked old. WiFi service was terrible, We were there for a 3 nights stay and that our room wasn't made up. No Bottel water provided , there have tap water safe to drink.

One of my choices whenever we are in singapore but currently their cleanliness is worsen. Very dusty in the room. Hope they will improve in this..
The hotel feels a little bit dated, but is well maintained. Near to mrt and just in front of a shopping mall. At the back is the mustafa center. Had a nice stay, overall.
I booked a king-size bed room, which was quite spacious. However, I was given a low-floor room, while I noticed that Indian guests, of whom there were many since the hotel is on Indian Street, were given much higher floors. The facilities are a bit old, but it's close to the subway station and places for shopping and dining. I would stay again, but I hope to get a higher floor next time.
About 90% of the guests at this hotel are Indian, and they are incredibly noisy. The soundproofing in the rooms is also really poor. The location is right next to Little India, so I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're traveling with kids.

It's an older hotel with somewhat dated facilities, but I keep coming back here every time. The cleanliness is still top-notch, and the surrounding amenities are very convenient. It's also quite close to Chinatown.
I saw some reviews online saying the hotel was old, but personally, I found it to be pretty good. It's conveniently located, within walking distance to Merlion Park and other nearby attractions. I booked two rooms, and the front desk thoughtfully gave us connecting rooms. The rooms and beds here are quite spacious by Singapore standards. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit.
Cleanliness: Absolutely terrible. The bathroom was full of mold, seriously, it's hard to believe a hotel at this price point could be so dirty. The shower also had a lot of mold. Room cleaning only happens once every three days, and the trash in the room wasn't even emptied. The only good thing about this hotel is its very convenient location; otherwise, there are absolutely no redeeming qualities

The hotel is located in the heart of the financial district, within walking distance of Tanjong Pagar MRT station and Lau Pa Sat hawker center, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. The room was really spacious, and the hotel was clean and well-maintained. They don't provide bottled water, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. The subway station is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, which is convenient for getting around, especially since taxis in Singapore are quite expensive. It's a very budget-friendly option for families traveling with a larger group.
First room I was checked into, 108, had faulty lights. Was moved to another room 709 and given a fruit platter. It was a rocky experience and I had to wait around slightly more than an hour for the issue to be resolved. Didn't really get to enjoy the fruit platter as I already ate...
The room facilities are very old, the door is not soundproof, and the hot water supply becomes very weak at night.

Had a great one-night stay at the Concorde Hotel Singapore. The location is unbeatable for shopping and dining on Orchard Road. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the service was efficient. Perfect for a quick city trip!
Always a pleasure staying here. I know they didn't plan this but there was a couple of humming birds that built their nest in the bushes on our balcony and it was such a treat seeing them fly in and out looking for twigs and soft materials to build their nest with. The room was awesome as usual.... Strong (and working) Air-conditioning, hot water with high water pressure, and wonderful soaps... The...
Well-located in the heart of Orchard, this hotel offers great convenience with major malls, dining options, and public transport just steps away. Rooms are clean and comfortable, though slightly compact. Service is efficient and friendly. A solid choice for shoppers and business travelers seeking comfort and accessibility in Singapore.
We love that the location is still in the heart of orchard rd. Its close to all nearby malls like plaza singapura, orchard central, orchard point. The hotel has good staffs, especially auntie Rita who loves to greet us always in the morning for breakfast. There are a lot of good foods and restaurants which is very accessible to and from the hotel.
Big room. Slightly dusty. Though the upkeeping leaves room to be desired. Definitely showing signs of ageing. Found 2 half drank bottles in fridge.
The hotel location was good. However, the rooms needed to be refreshed. My first assigned room with water leakage with the toilet an got changed. Nonetheless, staff are friendly and helpful.

Singapore, 277 Orchard Rd (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Great location, right next to Orchard Road. Super convenient for the MRT and buses. There's a shopping mall downstairs, and Ya Kun Kaya Toast too. We arrived a bit early for check-in, but there's a nice waiting area in the lobby to relax. The pool upstairs is really good.
The room facilities were a bit simpler compared to the JEN hotels in Shenzhen and Kunming, but at least it was clean. The hotel's location is excellent. Right outside, there's a big shopping mall, and a Yang Guo Fu (Malatang restaurant) is just a minute away. The subway station is also right downstairs, making it perfect for walking and shopping. The rooftop pool was amazing, although it was a bit...
The room size is decent, with potable water directly available and a full set of toiletries. Breakfast is abundant. The transportation is incredibly convenient, with multiple bus routes nearby that go directly to attractions like Sentosa, Chinatown, and Gardens by the Bay. The subway station is right downstairs.
Considering Singapore's generally high hotel prices, this hotel offers excellent value for money. The subway station and a shopping mall are conveniently located right downstairs from the hotel, accessible via a quick elevator ride from the 10th floor. On the ground floor, you'll find readily available taxis and Grab pick-up points, making it super easy to get around. There are plenty of shopping and...
The breakfast is great with a wide variety of choices. On weekends, breakfast is served until 11 AM, and the selection is even richer and more varied, including durian ice cream! The front desk and restaurant are both on the 10th floor. From the restaurant, you can take the elevator directly opposite down to B2, which exits right at Somerset MRT Station, Exit C. The infinity pool on the rooftop offers...
Prime location, the MRT station just attach to the same building. The room was clean and spacious. Friendly staff. And affordable price. Highly recommended.
