Convenient location with easy access to public transportation. There is a mall nearby as well as a Carrefour grocery store, which makes it very convenient for shopping and daily needs. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Old Town, with many restaurants and cafes nearby to choose from. The hotel itself is nice and cozy, offering a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The area feels lively yet pleasant, making it a great place to stay for both exploring the city and unwinding after a day out.

Cleanliness was conspicuously disappointing - upon entering the room there was trash (paper wrappers) on the floor, mouldy sink, fecal stains inside the toilet, dust and specks on and inside the bedsheets, greasy light switches, and a coffee machine that would not produce clean water (water remained yellowish with brown precipitate even after the 5th - 6th run with water). Reception was very nice (and helped us book a guided tour at the parliament), but generally was not very receptive to instructions, where requests for simple items (i.e. a toothbrush) fell on deaf ears. The room itself, whilst spacious, did not have a thermostat/other temperature control devices, so it was actually rather hot and stuffy at night, despite our visit in January.

Location is superb (2 minute walk to metro station), and the hotel is centrally located near the old town and parliament.

Great location, poor possibility for car parking, no individual AC in winter time.

The hotel is in the heart of NOISE. Our room was overlooking the nice park and I paid for the nice view of the park and for central location. But I only arrived to find that there is huge construction in the park, starting from 07:00 am. The noise of the street is unbearable, ambulances all night and even standard traffic noise. The windows are old and not soundproof enough obviously. Also the bar across the entrance has loud music until AFTER midnight and the hotel. We found earplugs on our bed as amenity but they do not block the noise. When I asked for room change from street side to the inner side or other corner, for 4 days they kept telling me it is not possible. When I complained about the noise at the reception, the staff went inside to talk to their manager but the manager did not even bother to come out and explain or apologize in person. Or try to do sth to make the guest more satisfied with the stay. If you have a construction just across the road and that disturbs the guests (very much) you cannot keep selling those rooms for the same price or you should provide amenities to make up for the dissatisfaction. This is not how you manage a hotel. Very unfortunate for you. As for cleanliness of the room, it was good. The breakfast was very good and the Turkish young lady Esma at the breakfast lounge was the ONLY member of the whole hotel staff that knew she was in hotel business. She always had a smiling face and was there for everyone making sure they enjoy their time at the hotel.

Located in the old town. Nice spacious room with everything. Easy to commute everywhere. Lots of places around to eat.

The location was great. Right now, there's a massive construction site towards the fountain though, so very noisy, plus the normal traffic on that side of the building. Bathroom was not exactly clean, especially the shower. Staff was friendly.

Cons:
No daily complimentary water provided.
Beds are way too soft.
Can be very noisy with heavy music beats from the pub just across the hotel.
In house restaurant service can do with more smile and friendliness.

Pros:
Great location, right at the edge of the Old Town.
Loads of food choices, every during the Easter holidays. Near to some iconic restaurants like Hanu Manuc and Caru car Bere.

inside Bucharest's old town, lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. breakfast is good, although could be busy and hard to find a seat

Tasty traditional food with generous portions at good rates. Although we didn't get any attention when we entered, we were quickly served. Food service was fast and overall good, except that the waitress forgot to open our bottles after she brought our drinks.

Stay away. There was a baby cockroach in my bread basket (yes, seriously). Plus the service was awful. My entree was only okay (sausage and cabbage). The restaurant itself is beautiful. The peasant soup with pork rib was delicious.

Food was ok, but could be better. I am not eating sushi, so review is based on the other food in the menu. My wife said sushi was good, though. Ambiance is so-so, being in a mall. Service was ok.
