Very well run small hotel in the heart of the Bashkortostan city of Ufa. Well situated for transport links to the airport. Plenty of shops nearby. Lots of bus services from nearby bus stops to all parts of the city. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Excellent value for money. I visited Ufa to take in a football match. It's quite a hard city to get to from Europe, and so I don't know if I'll ever be back, but if I ever do return, I will stay at the Volna Hotel and would recommend it to others.

Not bad, but the rooms are very small. And so everything is clean.

Excellent. Booked an economy room and warned that there would be no window. Upon arrival, we were given a room with a window, nice. Economy room is small but everything is there (kettle, refrigerator). I recommend rolling the lower part of the window into a matte film on the windows of the rooms on the first floor. And it’s not quite as comfortable as in an aquarium.
