I stayed here in my solo around the world motorcycle trip. It’s just a short walk to the main “Lenin head” plaza/ area. I walked a couple times at night and had no issues whatsoever. Very lovely lady at the front desk. Coming for the dorm room, very good value ! You get 2 towels, slippers, and there's a kitchen you can use as well as the lobby and cafeteria tables area. Close to the station. Would come again !
