We rested with our family in early September, we were satisfied with the hotel. The hotels are clean, everything is new, there is where to relax in the evening, you want in the yard, you want in the lobby. The proximity to the sea and the heated pool is why we chose it. The hotel staff is polite, unobtrusive and most importantly caring, somehow with a child they could not call a taxi, so the hotel employee drove us! Will definitely return to this hotel.

We traveled around Dagestan, stayed in several cities. According to the plan, two days were allotted to Derbent. We stopped at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised. Luxurious design, everything is new. Parking in the secured area of ​​the hotel right in front of the entrance, it is very convenient to unload and load things from the car. The rooms have air conditioning, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, telephone, desk, armchair, balcony. The equipment of the hotel and rooms is at the level of 4-5 star hotels. On the territory there is an indoor restaurant (cafe) with the opportunity to go up to the terrace of the second floor and dine to the sound of the sea. There is also a gazebo and tables in the yard. Loved the heated two-zone pool, one part for adults and the other for children. Direct access to the sea, 30 meters from the water. Returning from the sea, you can rinse in the shower outside. There is a grill on which we cooked immediately caught fish. The administrator turned out to be a sociable and pleasant person, he suggested where to buy what and where to go to see the sights. The hotel is not big and the chef in the restaurant takes into account the wishes of the guests. As a result, we extended the rest for two more days. We decided to leave early in the morning while it was not so hot. The cook came to give us breakfast at 6 in the morning. Every evening, guests were treated to tea prepared in a samovar for free.
Cons: the hotel is new and located in a new area, so the road to the hotel is still gravel.

Great place, great option for families with children. The sea is a stone's throw away, the pool is warm, my son did not get out of the water. The kitchen is homemade, inexpensive, there is no point in going somewhere to eat. The hotel is new and comfortable. There are few rooms, so there are no crowds of tourists. If you are looking for a place to relax, reboot before returning to work - you will not find it better in Derbent.

The Royal Hotel is a very cool hotel, located right on the seafront away from the noise of the city. The hotel is brand new with mesmerizing sea views and is just a stone's throw away. You can enjoy the sea in the evening. On its territory there is everything you need: a heated pool, very cozy places for meals. You can relax for all 5+, the staff is very attentive and helpful. We really liked everything, even words are not enough to express all the emotions. I will recommend it to my friends and will definitely come back next year.
