A nice cozy hotel Irkutsk. Main point to note that there is no elevator and some rooms are very small. So please clarify before booking. And the hotel has a large car parking and it’s free. There is not much of a room service or on call staff. The reception speaks English. And they have fast laundry as well. It’s a two hour drive to baikal lake from there.

Great location, but I was surprised by the small building, nicknamed "Mayachok," which had a cramped staircase with a bathroom smell. The bathroom had no shower curtain, but there was a sign saying "Do not pour water on the floor"—more for tourists from friendly China.
