The most important negative mattresses (or mattresses, as you like). Springs really drink from them. As a peasant, I don't care, but my girlfriend slept on top of a blanket, although by no means a princess and a pea. The hotel is not cheap, at the 4 * level. Music screams until 11 pm. Otherwise, everything is decent, breakfast is delicious
I'm happy. Rated 5+. Slept sweet, breakfast delicious, staff Wow. Girls at the reception are THANKS for ethics and smiles. Super!
... for the sake of brevity, the cons: Audibility in the rooms (you can hear absolutely all the sounds of neighbors), there is no feeling of cleanliness in the rooms, there are carpets on the floors, terrible mattresses, pillows. The breakfast is delicious, but the range is poor. Otherwise a normal hotel.

We were surprised at the discrepancy between the photos in Booking and the fact of what they saw ... Old but clean "Soviet" hotel. The rooms are small. Toilet/bath is tiny. The windows are wooden. Delicious and varied breakfast, friendly staff. The very center of the city.
The Hotel is located in the center of the city, very clean, good breakfast and very friendly staff!!
Nice place to stay for 2 nights in Kursk. Staff was friendly.

Perfect place. Inexpensive. He lived in a simple single room. All you need: kettle, TV, refrigerator - everything is there. Quiet, calm, view from the window to the pine trees. The room rate can include breakfast and dinner (possibly lunch, but I didn't need it). Friendly staff.
The hotel is situated in a pine grove. As a consequence, silence, clean air and a beautiful view from the window. Delicious food.
Overall it's great. Beautiful large area, beautiful entrance hall, beautiful girl at the front Desk, Breakfast buffet. But the room had not seen repair. Carpet stained, the back is the bed broken, bathroom of the 90-ies.

The hotel is wonderful, good location, large rooms with interesting ideas, of course grandiose ideas were planned (about 10 years ago), I think one of the crises prevented the completion of plans for the reconstruction of the hotel, but I believe that this will happen and the Oktyabrskaya hotel will become the best in Kursk
I lived in this hotel back in September 2013. Well what can I say about the changes. And what has changed ... NOTHING! Except for the entrance group. It so happened that they provided the same number as last time. The room is just huge! For such money, I have not seen such numbers in any city of Russia! But! The TV is the same. The bed is the same. The mattress is normal. The underwear is snow-white...
Really comfortable and the people are kind.

We were passing through Kursk for a couple of days. Despite the fact that the hotel is on the road, almost no cars are heard. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, great soft bed, and what is more important, excellent cuisine. Well, the price tag, let's say, is acceptable for this level.
Good hotel in Kursk. Price per night 3.000 rub (33 euro). They have a good restaurant downstairs but the breakfast can be improve. Hotel have a parking and very funny... security. Quality of expresso must be improve either.
