Where to stay in Victoria

Very beautiful guesthouse, tucked in the heart of Beau Vallon, near the beautiful beaches and hillside backdrop, just prefect for a holiday.

Just finished 9 wonderful days at Divers Lodge Guest House in Beau Vallon, Mahe, Seychelles. What a gem! My room was spacious with all the necessities: large firm bed, balcony with sea view, hot shower with great pressure, mini fridge, in room safe, toiletries and a TV. The highlight for me was the excellent breakfast which consists of local tropical fruit, house made breads, eggs, toast, crepe pancakes...

We had a wonderful stay! The place was comfortable, clean, and very welcoming. The atmosphere was perfect for families, and our little daughter even made a new friend here, which made our time even more special. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality — we truly felt at home. We would be happy to come back!

We stayed here for 2 nights, excellent rooms, the beach is right across, loved the breakfast (fresh juices, fruits, omlettes and pancakes), very comfortable king mattress, spacious rooms with a nice big balcony sitout, the staff and the owner is very sweet and accommodated our every small requests, highly recommend staying here, do make sure to book this well in advance as they have full occupancy...

This place is a paradise, it was girls trip for 2 of us. Wanted a nice relaxing holiday. We booked from 6th to 9 june 2025.We are definitely going back to stay at this place and would recommend. Divers Lodge is perfect! The best location, right overlooking a very quiet beach. The rooms are spacious, great WiFi and cleaned every day. What made the place really special were the staff Sonia and her team couldn’t do enough for us and the breakfast each day was excellent.

For what is advertised as a five star hotel, we werr disappointed. The staff were lovely and attentive but our breakfast was served cold on soggy bread, there was very loud drilling coming from building and our bathroom had dust over the surfaces. For a 2 night stay before flying home, it was all that we needed, but wouldn't stay again or recommend.

Lovely friendly hotel Really good stay. Hotel nice and quiet and well placed to walk to Eden Island. Lovely big room with good amenities and super big shower. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Plus even though it was overlooking the water it only took 5 minutes to get to the airport! Bonus!

Lovely hotel, but a bit out of the way Last stop on our way home. Lovely staff, nice hotel, although a bit quiet. Maybe because of the building site next door? Also a bit out of the way. A walking path to Eden Island would have been nice. But the staff really made us feel welcome.

A small cozy hotel. Suitable for spending 1-2 nights there before the regatta, not suitable for a longer vacation. There is no beach nearby. The staff is very responsive and friendly. They answer all possible questions, help with calling a taxi. The breakfast is delicious, a choice of several options on the menu.

We booked this hotel for one night just before taking the flight out of Mahé. We loved the service and hospitality here!

We had an amazing stay in Alison’s apartment No 1. Communication with her before the trip and during our stay was so easy. The apartment has everything you need and is equipped with washing machine, stove, fridge etc. Everything is in good condition and we felt very comfortable. The apartment is spacious and modern, with beautiful natural light, and dual aspect windows in all the rooms. It is fantastically appointed and clean, which makes for a happy holiday, because everything I need is here. The rooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans, to help keep cool. We stayed here in October and honestly loved it. From the moment we arrived, Allison made us feel so welcome. She greeted us with cold towels (amazing after the trip!) and we even found water, juice, and fresh flowers waiting in the apartment — such a sweet touch. At first, we had the first-floor apartment, but after two days Allison offered to move us upstairs when it became free. Totally worth it...

We were a group of three friends spending our two week vacation at this lovely place on Mahe. The host and everyone involved were super friendly and welcoming - felt like home. They were always happy to help out. The apartment is spacious and has all you need (even adapters for electronic devices). All in all, we were super happy with everything. Highly recommended!

Very nice apartment, which will be your great base. Towels, soap and shower gel (not much) are available in the facility. You can also ask for beach towels downstairs. Parking is available, and entering by car is not difficult. The apartments have balconies, where you can spend a nice evening with a beautiful view of the ocean.

I would give Villa Rosia a 10 out of 10. I was recommended this place by a friend very last minute, and I have absolutely no regrets. Nicole, the owner, is extremely responsive and managed to accommodate me for one night on short notice. She and her husband run the place, and everything is very well organized. An absolutely wonderful stay here at Villa Roscia. Such a warm welcome from Nicole and family. We were thrilled with our room with a beautiful sea view. All rooms had access to the terrace overlooking the bay. Excellent room with a great deal of care taken over presentation. Very clean - everything spotless. Good breakfast in the morning on the terrace with a stunning view. A truly first rate experience...

A wide magnificent view from the terrace, a comfortable clean room with daily housekeeping, filling breakfasts, and a 5 minute walk to the long seashore of Beau Vallon beach.... Such a pleasure to have stayed here!

This is a lovely hotel, would recommend to anyone going to Mahe. The room was big and clean with a great sea view. And the balcony view was amazing! If you’d like, the hotel will make you dinner on the balcony, which I highly recommend.

A very beautiful hike through the rainforest, and at the top of the summit... Wow! What a view over Victoria, the harbor, all the way to the airport, and to top it all off, the pitcher plants – absolutely beautiful! Hiking boots recommended.

+ Excellent dinner, decent breakfast, magnificent view, very pleasant mountain scales, they make their own massage oil, shower gel - The welcome was not great, staff absent, too far from the city center, cold and small pool, uninteresting room, despite several purchases of products plus massages, not a single gesture of goodwill.

The accommodation was simply fantastic! The staff was very polite, and the surroundings are the perfect place to unwind! Surrounded by mountains and nature, it's beautiful and definitely recommended! Tip: we had a rental car; it might be a bit difficult without one.
