An absolutely wonderful stay here at Villa Roscia. Such a warm welcome from Nicole and family. We were thrilled with our room with a beautiful sea view. All rooms had access to the terrace overlooking the bay. Excellent room with a great deal of care taken over presentation. Very clean - everything spotless. Good breakfast in the morning on the terrace with a stunning view. A truly first rate experience. Thank you so much!

I would give Villa Rosia a 10 out of 10. I was recommended this place by a friend very last minute, and I have absolutely no regrets. Nicole, the owner, is extremely responsive and managed to accommodate me for one night on short notice. She and her husband run the place, and everything is very well organized. They communicate clearly about arrival details so everything is ready for guests. The place is spotless. The room is gorgeously decorated and instantly puts you in the island mood. Each room has a small balcony with a breathtaking beachfront view and a perfect sunset every evening 🌅. They also have a pool area and a parking space if you are driving, which is very convenient. You wake up in the morning to the sound of the waves 🌊 and the chicken chorus 🐔such a peaceful and authentic island experience. This place is also very well priced compared to many accommodations in Seychelles, which can be excessively expensive, making Villa Rosia excellent value for money. This is one of the rare places where the Wi-Fi is actually excellent 👌 fast and reliable. The TV works perfectly as well. The room also includes a small walk-in closet, which is a nice bonus. Every morning, you get a delicious, simple breakfast with fresh eggs cooked to your preference, made on the spot. Thank you, Nicole, for your wonderful hospitality.

The host applies surcharges for payment with card
The host applies surcharges for the payment by credit card which is illegal in Seychelles.
Then he initially given me a different room, downgraded, the day after and only followed my complaints, he changed my room to the one I booked and paid for. Regrettably he didn't want to reimburse me for the different fare.
Finally, the noise coming from the neighbours by roosters, dogs and cars for almost all the night long is not acceptable. This is the reason why the host provided the earplugs. But, is it possible to wear earplugs all the time?

I read other reviews saying that breakfast was fantastic... I don't know what experience these people have, in our case the breakfast was very much limited in quantity, just 2 small pieces of fruits and small pieces of cheese and ham

This is a lovely hotel, would recommend to anyone going to Mahe. The room was big and clean with a great sea view. And the balcony view was amazing! If you’d like, the hotel will make you dinner on the balcony, which I highly recommend.

Villa Roscia is a very nice, small hotel near the famous and beautiful Beau Vallon beach on Mahé. It is situated on a hillside and offers a unique view of the sea and Beau Vallon from the terrace of the building. Especially in the morning it is a special treat to enjoy the excellent and extensive breakfast prepared by the employee Alice. We have stayed at Villa Roscia several times and the last time was in December 2024. We love to sit on the terrace for a while after breakfast to enjoy the view before going to the beach or exploring the island in a hire car. The owners of Villa Roscia are the wonderful couple Nicole Saint Ange and Paolo Roscia, who always make every effort to satisfy their guests and make their stay in their hotel a special experience. It is almost always possible to have a nice chat with the owners, ask questions and get tips for the island. Sometimes you even get in touch with the family's lovely children. It really is a very nice family, which also includes dogs and cats. Another advantage of the hotel is that you can have dinner on the terrace if you wish. Nicole or Alice offer a very tasty Creole dinner at a very affordable price. On the other hand, you can also visit one of the best restaurants on the island in the evening, which is only a 15-minute walk away, the ‘La Perle Noir Restaurant’ near the Coral Strand Hotel on Beau Vallon. We spend our holidays at Villa Roscia every year when we are on Mahé as we prefer small hotels because they are generally much more familiar and this is especially true of Villa Roscia. You immediately feel at home and don't have the feeling that you've been away for a year. This really is a holiday at its best in every respect. Keep up the good work, we'll be back.

The family hotel was just simply perfect for our family. We rented 2 rooms for appr 2 weeks. It was close to the beach, close to the shop and restaurants. But the best food for dinner was in hotel. We recommend tiramisu, grilled fish and curry dishes. We had Christmas eve there with very good memories. We loved privacy of the hotel and at the same time very good service and nice chats with the personal. Alice, Audrey, Nicole, Paolo was easy to talk with. We have ordered some trips through the hotel which were very good. We enjoyed country side sounds with the cook. We could write much more positive things. We enjoyed our stay extremely good. Service wasn't great but the pizza came pretty quick after we ordered. We didn't see the waiter again after the food was served.
Great view from the restaurant that opens up onto the white sandy beach.

Best pizza on the island. The Location is absolutely fabulous. Directly on the beach next to turquoise blue waters. I take the privilege of going there barefoot from time to time. The staff are quite friendly. A real heaven for divers that come back hungry after a diving trip.

Those are 2 flavor pizza (you can choose 2 pizza and make it in one pizza half and half! (What you need is just ask them nicely ^^)and a galic pizza. I don't remember what exact names are, but i am sure that we had half margarita and the other one had shrimps. We had great meal (but considered expensive) after we went to beach. Enjoy your stay in Seychelles!!!

I love the large choice of dishes, the local fish, the freshly made salads. The service is attentive, helpful and swift. The Longdrinks are outstanding! The location at the roadside and near the beach is lively and happy with people, cars and dogs passing by, a perfect Island in the moving crowd. Music is happy and easy, pricing very reasonable, given its an all-you-can-eat. We ll be back!

The choices are not overwhelming either.
Salads where fresh and good though.
Honestly better spend 1000 SCR in one of the upscale places nearby

I'm actually not a Buffetfan, but at the Buffet you can't go wrong. Super tasty, nice service and the fresh grilled sea bream was a dream. We will be here for dinner more often.
