Where to stay in Anse Volbert Village

Excellent location within 15min walk of many restaurants and supermarkets and a diving center. Breakfast buffet choices are limited but adequate. Right on the beach with a nice swimming pool and large garden

We stayed as a couple for just under a week. The location is good for getting around by local transport. The property is beautiful, but could use some updating. The staff is very helpful, especially Bilal, who helped us organize our stay as best as possible and gave us excellent advice. The breakfast buffet was very varied and good.

Very tasty cocktail menu in the Beach bar . Friendly and attentive service . Bridget was accomodating and plesant. Great place to have a lunch and recreation time. We stayed in a different hotel each night of our honeymoon, and this was probably the most unique (in a good way) stay of them all. The mountains feel close enough to grab, there's snorkeling right on the property, and the design of the rooms all feel like you're living in the middle of the jungle. The food was great, and staff was very kind. My only complaint is that the beds were not comfortable

Nice place, nice location but average service

Superb place to stay and spend honeymoon. The breakfast and dinner is great for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. The hotel staff is very cooperative and helpful. The resort view is excellent and the ocean view rooms are very spacious. The view from the rooms is very captivating and will forever remain in your eyes.

Nice property with good garden and sea view. People are very cooperative and friendly. Rooms are huge and ample in space. Food is average at the restaurant (vegetarian alert), however the chef is friendly and goes out of the way to ensure our stomachs are happy! We spent 3 days here. The location is very good and our room was right on the beach. The ocean was not very clean on account of algae present in the water and the shore. Looked like the staff does not clean the algae from the beach. Staff was sometimes polite. I say it because one day they were all welcoming and another day we felt like why we are here. Before we start, the following review is of course subjective. Furthermore our stay was good, but in the end there were a few reasons, why we can only give 3 stars. 1) Check In: We had to wait minimum 30 minutes, till we were fully checked in. Very nice. only 2 minutes from Anse Volbert beach. It is a 15 minute walk to the village. Because you have to walk alongside the road & there is no pavement or streetlights, I would suggest that you take a torch with you. The road isn't that busy, so not a big problem, but a torch will help you be seen. The staff were friendly & helpful, giving me advice re the buses & snorkelling beaches.

Cute apartment a very few minutes walking to one of the best beaches on Praslin. Well equipped,very cozy and peaceful. I slept so well. Nora is an amazing host,she gave best advices for the island and organized for us some tour. She in an excellent cook. Love staying

The accommodation corresponded exactly to our expectations and in particular the welcome and the cuisine offered by the owner. The accommodation is very well located, close to activities offered at Anse Volbert (diving, excursions, restaurants, etc.)

The accommodation is located on a road with little traffic. The beach can be reached on foot in approx. 15 minutes. There is a diving center in the immediate vicinity. The very small "studio" at the back of the property is sufficient for a short stay. There is no view of the garden, but of a green rock face. The very small terrace facing the backyard is not very inviting. The staff are very friendly...

The cottage was very comfortable, close to the beach, and the staff was very welcoming. The manager Nora made us a wonderful grilled fish dinner. It was well worth it! The kitchen had everything you would need to self cater. Good value for money.

Nice apartment. It was not far from the diving-club- Whitetip diving center. This was important for me. Nora - the owner of guesthouse- very hearty and hospitable. How delicious she cooks! Ask her to cook dinner for local cuisine! I would like to back to Nora!

A million dollar view, kind and helpful host Leslie. Best enjoyed with a rental car to be able to combine the amazing beauty of Anse Lazio beach with the more convivial activities of the nearby Anse Volbert.

I cannot recommend this place enough! Les is an amazing host she goes above & beyond to make sure your stay is the best possible! The view was Absolutely stunning, absolute bargain for what you get, if your in need of a small escape & want to be far enough from a town but still get that beautiful local feeling!

Excellent hotel with an extremely helpful owner named Les. She works hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible and offers ferry transfers. As you may have read in other comments, the view is exceptional and for that alone, it is worth going there! Large apartment opening onto the sea, it was magical! We stayed in this house for two nights. It's a house that, although faithful to the photos, is very dark and not very bright. This house is very poorly soundproofed and seriously lacks security. Nice place, excellent accommodation, friendly people. It is 7 km to the anse Lazio, 3 km to the anse Budin and 2 km to the anse Volbert. It is possible fishing or boat trip.

Lovely location, right next to the beach. We stayed in the larger cottage with 3 double bedrooms. It is set behind the two thatched cottages, but still very close to the water. Lots of space and week equipped kitchen.
