Amazing Hotel & Service! We had such a great time and the rooms are super equipped, clean and comfortable. Well managed and organized. They are into details what we loved! Great for couples but also for families with that pool! Beautiful garden, restaurant and the bar has nonalcoholic Beer and Mocktails like Gin-tonic (you won’t find this anywhere on La Dique by the way, so enjoy it here).

U have to got to love this hotel and restaurant! We as a family of 5 were here with for 4 nights and we simply loved it. The rooms are very nice with outdoor showers and the pool is lovely for the kids to have a swim after going to the beautiful beaches of Praslin. The people are very kind, also to children, we had a 1 year old that loved her stay. Thanks to all the staff and kind owners for the lovely stay😃

From the very first moment, we felt this place was something truly special. We were amazed – honestly a bit speechless – by how beautiful everything looked. The whole property was just breathtaking.

The welcome was incredibly warm and friendly. Our room was the most beautiful accommodation we’ve had during our time in the Seychelles. There was a Creole BBQ evening, and both the food and the atmosphere were absolutely magical – a real highlight we can fully recommend.

We would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone. A wonderful experience from start to finish!

Excellent hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms for two people. Nice furnishing of wood. The staff is great, very kind and helpful. Always doing some work to keep the place nice and clean. And the receptionist oh my god.. this woman is just fabulous! She is always there and ready to help with any need you have like renting a car, ordering taxi from the ferry to the hotel, booking a tour for you, giving advice for good restaurants, beaches and places on the island. And doing all of that with a smile on her face, just makes you smile too. The hotel has a great restaurant with a nice pool beside which have its own bar for cocktails and drinks. They even have their own giant turtles in the garden. The location is perfect with many take away restaurants, supermarkets, shops, ATM and change in less then 3 min walk from your room. The Cote D'Or Beach is right in front where most of the boat tours start.

Before we start, the following review is of course subjective. Furthermore our stay was good, but in the end there were a few reasons, why we can only give 3 stars.

1) Check In:
We had to wait minimum 30 minutes, till we were fully checked in. We got a juice, which was nice. But we couldn't understand, why we had to wait so long, as there was a lot of staff in the almost empty restaurant. It seems that the other staff are only there for the restaurant and not for the hotel. But when the woman for the check-in finally came, she besides also managed to get the coming people for the restaurant seated.

2) Covid-19:
Les Lauriers is a health-certified hotel. Unfortunately there were lots of guests, who didn't wear face masks. And unfortunately the hotel- and restaurant staff did not really care. Even at the buffets, no one asked these guests to wear masks.

3) Restaurant and Dinner:
The overall quality of the food is excellent. But in our opinion the service wasn't. One night there was a menu, with the option for pizza. We wanted to have a starter from the menu, a pizza as main course and the dessert from the menu. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to eat like we wished. Instead, were asked to eat one pizza together as a starter and then we had to choose a main course from the menu. We couldn't understand, why it wasn't possible. So we asked again, but were told that pizza as a main course is not possible. As we are the paying guests and Pizza was available anyway we still can't understand that.
Furthermore there we several different waitresses at our table. But there was obviously no consultation between them. Empty glasses were not asked to be refilled again.

4) Rooms and facilities:
The room and hotel facilities were good and we liked it. In our opinion the pool could have been cleaner. There was a beautiful pool bar, but most of the time there was no staff there. Sad!

Our overall impression was, that there is no guiding thread. The management and service is a little bit chaotic. On the other side, the food was delicious and staff was friendly all the time. We hope that these information help to improve.

We did really enjoy our time spent here. Everyone was nice and smiling all the time, ready to help if you needed. The food in the restaurant is very good. The bbq night was also very nice. As a plus, beach,market and atm are 1 min walking from the hotel. If you have a rental car they have private parking. We did not used the pool since there are a lot of beaches to explore. We did take the half day trip to curieuse and st pierre and it was nice. As a minus, the wifi needs some improvement.

What a lovely hotel and room and staff. You just fall in love with it the moment you step in. Edwin, Sybelle, Anna, Katherine and all the staff are welcoming, helpful and pleasurable.

I will miss this place and everyone here.

Great hotel, feels like paradise... great view into the jungle, wide rooms with extra big porches, 3 min walk from the beach and good food, breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended

Avoid. The only good thing is the location. We sat down and waited almost half hour that the waitress brought us the menu. There was only two other tables besides us. I got a feeling that stuff must be seriously underpaid and they don't enjoy their job. We left before we ordered...

Avoid this place unless you want to pay double price as it is stated on menu. Orange juice on menu 55, they asked me to pay 110, more over we got half glass of water with ice and half orange juice. (Far more not 100% juice ) We requested confirmation - thought maybe it is an unwanted mistake, but they said that's the price, no mistake. Very disappointed, not happy with this quality and service.
