Staying here was truly a dream. Surrounded by lush nature, the property allows you to fully connect with the island and its peaceful atmosphere. The panoramic view is absolutely stunning and unforgettable. We couldn’t recommend it more! Apartments with amazing views, owner Lesley is great and always supportive host, helping with multiple tips and pick ups. Car rental recommended here as whole venue is located on a hill with not direct access to the sea. Car is handy anyway, Praslin could be a bit tough in terms of logistics if you want to reach most of local beaches 🙂

I loved our stay at the Mango Lodge. Lovely views from lovely rooms. Upon arrival the owner gave us a fair amount of information and tips of what to do. Everyone of her tips turned out to be very valuable and made our stay even more special. We traveled all over the Seychelles but I will never forget our stay with Les at the Mango Lodge.

I highly recommend Mango Lodge for your stay. We stayed there for three nights, and overall everything was perfect. All the rooms have a magnificent view of the coastline. They also have an indoor kitchen, so you can cook your own meals.
The property is slightly up the hill—you can either trek or drive up—but the view and the peaceful isolation make it totally worth it. The owner is very friendly and informative, she treats her guests with the utmost care and warmth.
Go ahead and book this property without any second thoughts.

The most beautiful view!
This view is even more stunning than any picture can show. We loved to just sit at the balcony and watch the birds, the flying fox's, the seagulls in front of the small island and the beautiful green trees. Everyday it looked a bit different.
We had one of those wooden houses and it was perfect to us. It was very clean. We had no spiders or mosquitoes inside. Just some very cute geckos, which make funny sounds at night. It was very peaceful up on this hill. We also didn't miss an airconditioner.
Lesley is very friendly and helpful.
Animals are loved here and it made me very happy :)

In 20+ years of travelling we have never returned to the same accommodation twice, so it says something that this was our second stay at Mango Lodge. For us this is a perfect stay; privacy in one of the wonderful cabins on stilts, amazing views across the bay, great support from Lesley and her team when you want it and everything you could want within the cabin including a great kitchen area. As others have said, we would recommend hiring a car (Lesley can help) not just to get up the hill to Mango Lodge but because Praslin deserves exploring and a car gives you so much more flexibility. Overall the perfect accommodation for an amazing trip. Thanks Lesley.

A Magical Experience at Mango Lodge Staying at Mango Lodge was an unforgettable experience! The view is simply breathtaking – waking up among the treetops and watching the sun rise over the forest felt like a dream. The open bedroom design brought us closer to nature, and falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle was something truly special. The lodge has a charming and bohemian style, with comfortable beds and a spacious layout that offers all the amenities you could need. It’s perfect for families or anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. Nature is quite literally at your doorstep, creating a sense of tranquility like no other. Leslie, Sofia, and all the animals made our stay even more memorable – they were welcoming, helpful, and full of warmth. We will definitely be back! Thank You for having us! Note: A car is necessary to get here, but it’s absolutely worth the trip!

My husband and I recently stayed here for a week. I cannot sing its praises enough. We stayed in one of the bungalows on stilts with the amazing bay view. I’m not going to pretend this is 5 star luxury but having done that multiple times I can honestly say I preferred Mango lodge. You can safely sleep with the doors to the balcony wide open and fall asleep to the sound of the sea. Well equipped little kitchen and spacious private accommodation. I would definitely recommend renting a car- this was seamlessly organised by the amazing Les. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The property was amazing, and we felt confused how it was only 2 star. Firstly, the views are absolutely incredible as you can see on the photos attached. We were often waking up around 5am to see the sunrise which was really nice. The rooms are cleaned by the housekeepers every day, to a great standard. They are large rooms with so much space as you can see in the photo, we stayed in the chalet and were more than impressed with the room. They had beach towels, kitchen is fully equipped with all amenities, you can easily cook there if you wanted to. The balcony space is huge, and comes with unbelievable views. The owner Leslie is an incredible person and host, nothing is too much for her and she will go out of her way to help you and suggest things, I would suggest to anyone thinking of stopping here to reach out to her with any questions about excursions, rental cars as she will find things far cheaper than you see online, all very reputable. She helped us when we had trouble one morning and gave us a ride to the ferry terminal and refused to take cash, without her we would have missed our ferry to La Digue and we couldn’t thank her enough for this. Rental car is a must, again contact Leslie she found a car for us which was brilliant and so cheap when you’re used to European prices. Overall we loved our stay here, it’s a fabulous place to see amazing views first and last thing in the day. Close by to supermarkets and amazing takeaway spots, Leo’s food truck is a must! Should we ever return to the Seychelles we wouldn’t hesitate a second to stop here again. Thank you so much Leslie and the team!

As you may have read in other comments, the view is exceptional and for that alone, it is worth going there! Large apartment opening onto the sea, it was magical! Yes, it's a climb to get there, especially if like us you don't have a car, but the reward is great! Spacious apartment with a nice colonial decor. And for those who love animals like us, they have several dogs and cats, each one nicer than the other 😍Little icing on the cake: my son forgot his wallet when leaving and when we returned from La Digue, Lesley brought it back to the port during our 15 min stopover in Praslin! Really, I recommend this accommodation with my eyes closed!!!
