Location was central. Loved the courtyard . Breakfast was very good. Always plentiful and fresh. Enjoyed the dinners in the restaurant.

We had a lovely stay at Stari Tišler. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The location is ideal—just a short walk from both the train station and the charming old town, which made exploring Ljubljana effortless.
The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the warmer days, keeping our room cool and comfortable. We also really appreciated the breakfast: a generous selection of food, and having it included in the stay was a definite bonus. It set us up perfectly for a day of sightseeing.
The bathroom was another highlight—the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water, which made for a refreshing start and end to each day.
It’s important to remember that Stari Tišler is a guest house, not a luxury hotel—but take it for what it is, and you can’t fail to be charmed. The warmth, character, and thoughtful touches make it a truly memorable place to stay.

Excellent location. 5 minutes walk from bus depot and city center. Friendly, helpful staff and nice to have restaurant with authentic and delicious Slovenian fare. Outdoor seating in their courtyard was enjoyable.

Enjoyable stay with excellent breakfast and nice restaurant for dinner. Convenient to train station and an easy 5-10 minute walk to the old town. No hair dryer in the room but they had one to loan us. Visited in May and the room was a bit musty. No elevator. Would stay there again

It was conveniently located near the bus terminal and downtown. Although there weren't many amenities, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was surprisingly substantial, and I especially appreciated the vegetables.
