eco boutique hotel A.M.S. Beagle Bled in Bled

We had a beautiful stay at this fantastic ECO Lodge nestled in the hills above Lake Bled just a 10 minute walk from Vintgar Gorge. Actually we didn’t know about the location so much before we booked so it was a pleasant surprise to skip all the parking & shuttle bus stress so we could arrive at Vintgar very early and escape the queues. It is 3Km to the lake but we were happy to be away from majority of tourism out in the countryside. The lodge is lovely and the temperature control system really works so don’t worry about air conditioning. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with jacuzzi baths & showers. What really made our trip though are the wonderful team though. Nina is an excellent host and was already messaging me before our stay to give advice and arrange restaurant bookings and trip ideas. We basically had a full 3 day itinerary all planned at check in. Sara is just as lovely and prepares a sumptuous breakfast every morning, making sure to accommodate us early on our Vintgar morning. Both work with the team and deal with any issues quickly & professionally. We took Nina’s advice and visited Triglav Vogel & Lake Bohinj which we massively recommend once you have seen Bled for a very different experience away from the crowds and more in nature. Hiking on th hills and swimming on the north Ukanc beach is a big recommendation. We had a great time in Slovenia and really hope to return in the future. The hotel, which not in the city centre is less than 10 mins walk to Vintgar Gorge, which is one of the main reasons of my visit to Bled. The room is huge and spotlessly clean. Nina and her amazing team also made a huge difference to my stay - they were attentive and prompt to respond to any queries I might have about Bled. On my second day of stay, Katka who was preparing breakfast, promptly made me a smoothie and packed a brownie for me when she learnt that I was going for a full day hike. As a solo traveler visiting Slovenia for the first time, I really appreciate the hospitality and the kindness of everyone in the hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was truly amazing! During our few days in Bled, where we had two adults and two children under 5 years old, the accommodation surpassed our expectations. The rooms were not only spacious but also beautifully maintained, providing all the amenities we needed. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the delicious breakfast added to the overall experience. The staff was exceptionally helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Nina went over and beyond to make our stay memorable In a place where English is not common she had a superb English Highly recommend this place Accommodation was like a Swiss chalet type with gigantic rooms and a breathtaking view

The amazing ingenuity in getting eco is coupled with an incredibly high level of comfort (which is somehow counterintuitive). It's obvious that when designing the hotel the owners/designer carefully considered every corner to be both luxurious and cosy.
Rooms are huge and the bathrooms almost as large as the rooms themselves!
Staff very helpful and willing to take the proverbial extra mile to make us feel at home.

A new build property in a small place very close to the Vintgar canyon. Excellent cooked breakfast. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was convenient and spacious. We even got a private terrace by the apartment (ground floor). I wish we had more time to stay in this great place and enjoy the Bled area. Coming back )

Alpe-Adria Mountain Ship (AMS) Beagle is a great, top certified eco-friendly but still classy hotel (four star eco-label) in the middle of unspoiled mountain nature and yet 15min close to famous Bled (5 min to Vintgar, Triglav National Park and 20 min drive to Radovljica (gingerbread museum and chocolate festival), Pokljuka and Mount Triglav). Slovenia at It's Best also regarding fine, international or traditional cusine dining. While well equipped base camp for walking, hiking, biking swimming, serious golfing or skiing our ship features a mid power filling station for electric vehicles, AMS Beagle is also a Conteporary Museum of Sustainable Living.
