Los Amigos Nest Hostel in La Mareta

I have never used accommodations like this, i.e. lots of people in several common spaces (kitchen, bathrooms or garden). We were pleased with our room. It was clean. We had a large, comfortable bed. The room had a large window overlooking the garden and the airport. The downside is the very modest equipment of the room. There is one small cabinet for a bedside lamp and a chair with a backrest. Plus, no hangers on doors or walls. It's enough for one night, but in the long run you can drown in your own things. A bathroom as a common area also works well. Showers are separate rooms that lock from the inside. Toilets are the same, of course. The entire facility is decorated very tastefully and thoughtfully. It's also very clean. The staff was constantly bustling about in the mornings, cleaning the common areas. The large number of guests in the common areas was not a nuisance. There was a lot of noise coming from the garden in the evening, but it quieted down later in the evening. The hostel owners take great care to ensure that the nighttime silence is not disturbed. We recommend this place for one or two nights. For longer stays, you'll need to enjoy staying in such places.

You have just about everything you need to get you settled in for your stay. Staff are extremely warm and welcoming, and there was a great group of people while I was there. Will almost definitely return in the future! Thanks

This hostel has changed my life, I was supposed to be here for 8 days at the beginning of May and I stayed here for 2 months because I fell in love with it. The atmosphere, the people, the island. Almost every single person I’ve met here are lovely. The manager is understanding and proactive, always ontop of any problems. It feels like being part of a big family here. I came back for a month and my trip is almost over and I’m already thinking about when I can come back.

I stayed here overnight before travelling back to the UK, as it was close to the airport.

It was clean, tidy, good showers and toilets. Nice kitchen for cooking meals. The outside area was pleasantly arranged with shaded areas and a small pool.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the other guests were nice. The nearby town has a good cafe and restaurants as well as a small supermarket, beaches. It's about 25 minutes walk or there's a bus stop nearby.

Outstanding! very clean. very well run. very cheap (price matches). not best location but has quiet beach nearby and is on a main bus route. Highly recommended.

This being a last minute idea to ride motorcycles around Tenerife the nest was perfect the manager very helpful and a feeling of warmth and community from all residents and guest having never stayed in a hostel at 52 years old it was pleasantly surprised by the chilled vibe and would 100 % stay there again

This place is a lovely oasis: everything is sparkling clean, well organised, the staff super kind and they have a small pool too. The vibe is excellent, I would go back for sure. Absolutely recommended
