Hotel Tahiti in Es Pujols

We had a wonderful ‘fly and flop’ week! The breakfasts are excellent, public areas and pool are comfortable and generally very quiet. The beach is about twenty seconds walk from the swimming pool, as are multiple good restaurants. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked to return next September and join the other guest we met, some of whom were on their tenth return trip. Thank you to all the staff who were excellent hosts.

The Tahiti Hotel is one we have stayed at several times. The location is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless and the breakfast, which is available between 8 and 12, is really good. Eat late enough and have plenty and you can skip lunch! This is our place to stay of choice.

Second visit and it never disappoints, the island is a wonderful and tranquil place, the hotel with its amazing service from breakfast to the super clean rooms. It’s the staff that make this place special, don’t ever change .

I have been to Formentera before and stayed in a different hotel but because this time I was travelling solo I wanted somewhere more central with easy access to the beach and restaurants and shops. Well, Hotel Tahiti certainly fulfilled those wishes! But above all it was charming in itself, rather like being in a miniature Hollywood film set, and with welcoming and seriously helpful staff from the check-in to check-out with waiting staff and cleaners in between. The staff always had a friendly 'hello'! I feared that, as a solo traveller, I might be fobbed off with a poky little room in an attic overlooking dustbins, but not at all! I was on the first floor, overlooking the plant-filled courtyard looking straight to the beach and the sea! At night, I could hear the waves! I spent many relaxing hours by the pool which was wide enough and deep enough for a proper swim. You could order snacks, drinks and light lunches at the little bar and they were brough to your lounger. It was an easy walk to the beach where you could hire loungers but could use the towel you had picked up at the pool. I shaIl certainly return to Hotel Tahiti and I shall spend the coming winter looking at the photos on the Trip Advisor website! (I am writing this the week after my holiday and Formentera has suffered severe stormy weather on Tuesday 30th. I hope the staff and the Hotel Tahiti itself have come thought it okay!)

We had a wonderful holiday at the Hotel Tahiti. The staff at all levels were welcoming and friendly and all areas were immaculately clean. The Breakfast room has been updated and the improvements to the food and service were excellent. Unfortunately, my husband became ill during our stay, but the staff went above and beyond their duties to help and support us and we were able to complete our holiday happily We cannot thank the staff enough for the way they helped us and for their unfailing kindness.

I can’t think of one single thing that this hotel could do to make our stay better than it was. All of the staff are so lovely - reception staff, bar staff, breakfast staff, pool staff and cleaners. All so friendly. We arrived to be told our room was ready (we arrived at about 1pm) but they took us to a lovely terrace overlooking the blue clear sea and were given a free welcome drink. Once finished we were taken to our room where our suitcases had been taken up already. Lovely room. Large comfortable bed and great pillows. Large bathroom. Free minibar with water, coke, orange juice, Fanta limon and 7up in it. This was restocked every day. I’d asked before arrival for a kettle in the room and it was in the room waiting for us. Large balcony with great sea views. Breakfast - wow. So much selection for all nationalities. Eggs get cooked fresh for you however you want them. Breakfast is from 8am- 12pm and on our day of departure we had to leave at 6.25am. We were offered an early breakfast which we declined but a nice touch for it to be offered. The hotel is a great location just on the seafront with loads of great bars and restaurants within walking distance. We spent our time on the beach during the day but would come back to the pool for a drink late afternoon. Pool towels are provided which you are allowed to take to the beach. The pool is a great size and we never struggled getting a sunbed. When we checked out we were given bottles of freezing cold water for our travels. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Amazing staff give it such a lovely friendly vibe. Thank you all. We will be back.

Arrived without any problems despite the lack of Tui reps enroute. From the airport we were taken by coach and dropped at the port, we found our own way onto the ferry, and specified coach, were joined a little later by others travellers, then were taken to our hotel. The hotel is very stylish and the staff were friendly and accommodating, with an earlier than expected check in at around 2pm. Our room was on 2nd floor with a lift or stairs to accommodate, it was clean and shiny with ample wardrobe space and hangers, our balcony overlooked the pool. There were plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool with a lovely area to sit by the poolside bar with shade and comfortable seats. Everything was in good working order: aircon, shower, tv with multiple UK channels and minibar stocked daily, we took our own travel kettle for morning cuppa! Breakfast was served from 8-12 with fabulous selection of continental and English served fresh or from the buffet. We spent most of our days between pool and beach which was beautiful sand and clear blue sea right on our doorstep. The village of Es Pujols, with many restaurants and shops, was our evening entertainment, again right on the doorstep. The restaurants were pricey but we found an excellent place just along from the hotel which was always busy and served a large menu with realistic prices and friendly staff. We had a fabulous week and would love to return for the relaxing time that we had, I used the local bus to visit another beach and husband hired a cycle for a day. Sightseeing wasn't on the agenda but had it been then it would have been a disappointment apart from the beaches.

I agree with most of the excellent reviews for this hotel. We booked our holiday through TUI- the short transfer from Ibiza airport to the port (15 mins), the ferry to Formentera (30 mins) and the transfer from Formentera port to hotel(10mins) all worked seamlessly both ways. The ferry tickets and general information were given to us by TUI at the airport. Best bits regarding Hotel Tahiti- location. Right on the beautiful Es Pujols beach with perfect white sand and azure crystal clear water. Safe swimming for all ages. Easy access on footpath 19 up to the equally beautiful beaches of de Illetes and de Llevant. Es Pujols has enough bars,restaurants and shops for all tastes. In the evening we generally spent between Euro 70-110 for 2 main courses and a bottle of wine ( no starter or pudding). Lots of the restaurants were Italian as most of the people on holiday here are Italians. We liked the restaurant next to the Hotel Roca Bella at the far end of the beach as it was right on the beach, the food was Spanish, good and authentic, and a bottle of decent wine around Euro 20. We tried Bocasalina next to Hotel Tahiti just once, but we found it pretentious and very overpriced for the quality of the food. The cheapest bottle of wine here was Euro 50. The hotel swimming pool is great - there's a walkway from here down to the beach which is convenient. We always found plenty of spare loungers around the pool at any time of the day. Lots of beach towels. Pool bar service was good. Our standard 2nd floor room was compact, as was the wardrobe space. The sea view from the balcony was fantastic. We didn't hear any noise from neighbours. The bed was comfy- not too hard and not too soft. Everything worked well in the bathroom. All staff are excellent and go out of their way to be kind and helpful. The hotel is very lucky to have such staff. It was our wedding anniversary and staff brought us a bottle of cava, a cake and card- unexpected and received with thanks! There's a lovely elevated terrace with comfy chairs overlooking the beach -grab a delicious sangria from the bar and enjoy the view and atmosphere! I've taken one star off for a very specific reason which the hotel needs to address. The quality of the breakfast was fantastic as was the service- everything you could want, however the big problem is where you have to eat it- in an air conditionned canteen which is cramped , sometimes noisy , and unpleasant apart from a front conservatory where the tables were generally occupied. Everyone just wanted to be eating their breakfast outside, and there is plenty of room to accommodate this if the garden furniture outside was replaced with dining tables and chairs . It just needs a little imagination and conviction by management to achieve this. Otherwise, all was good!

This is one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed at! Beautifully clean, tasteful decor, lovely rooms, excellent service. We found it was very generous with many unexpected extras for the price - e.g. bedroom fridge restocked every day at no charge, cava with breakfast, bottle of water as you depart etc. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty options, and the pool is great and not too busy. The staff are warm, friendly and always very helpful. It's in a great location by a lovely swimming beach and near many nice restaurants. Highly recommended for a relaxing break.
