Hotel Maysi in Platja de Migjorn

We visited this restaurant with a group of friends and left with the clear impression of being overcharged. The waiter told us that sangria would cost €50, but on the bill it appeared as €59. Bread with aioli was offered without any mention of price, yet it was also added to the bill. Even more surprising, fries ordered ( patat bravas delivered) as a side dish with a grilled meal were charged at €23 — almost the same as the main course.

The lack of transparency and misleading information from the staff made the whole experience feel dishonest. We expected fair prices and clear communication, but unfortunately this was not the case.

Small structure in a strategic position, just in front one of the best Formentera beach. Hotel management is very poor: they missed to refill shower dispenser after 3 days of our request, there was bad odor, and cleaning services were poor....an opportunity lost....

We could summarize all in few words......location 5 on 5, just i front one of the best beach in Formentera, structure 3 on 5 it's a 2 stars so you can't ask for a luxury structure but the recent refurbishment aligned the hotel with the standard. Hotel management and service 1 on 5. Some example to justify a so bad evaluation: the first 2 days on 7 weather is bad, you stay in your rom but there is a bad smell, sewer smell. We complain with the reception we ask to change the room: feedback, all the hotel is in the same condition it depends on the weather condition, weather is changed, bad smell no. Second example, in the shower you have dispenser for shower gel, shampoo, hai conditioner, good choice, green one, it's pita that dispenser is empty, we asked to rifill it bit in 3 days it was impossible. Cleaning service is done by few persons, our impression is that they don't care it i n the correct way.....a missed opportunity

Personally, if someone asked me for a recommendation for food in Formentera, this would not be one of them. Honestly, the only way to describe the food was disgusting. We sat in the restaurant for a total of 50 minutes before even getting bread, after asking. After waiting 50 minutes, we got chicken nuggets that came out mostly raw. Vile. No thanks. The servers are rude and not understanding, and even charged us for this poison. Needless to say, the views were gorgeous but definitely not worth the nauseating food. No thanks again! Do not come here.

I ate at the restaurant this afternoon and the view was amazing. However the food service was sadly disappointing. Our food took a very long time to arrive and unfortunately once it did the chicken nuggets were actually not all the way cooked and instead the inside was raw. I would not recommend this restaurant despite the gorgeous view it has to offer. It may have just been our luck but it was truly disappointing as we only had a few hours left in Formentera and we spent a good 90 minutes waiting for and eating our raw food. The rest of the food was okay but overall the service was poor and took an inordinate amount of time.
