We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. We stayed there couple of nights, using it as a launch point to visit Gibraltar and take the ferry to Morocco. I booked Hotel Mirador for one night, but due to problems with my car stayed for three. I really enjoyed my time there and was made most welcome by the friendly staff. They all spoke pretty good English and were very helpful with telephone calls and booking taxes to sort my car out. I had lunch there which was home-cooked and very reasonable value. However, it's only on par with a basic guesthouse in China. It's fine for a one-night stay if you just need to sleep. Great Location for the Port The hotel is very well located for the port (about 5 minutes walk) if you are wanting to make day trips to Ceuta or Tangier. It is basic but the reception is open 24 hours and a really nice kebab takeaway next door with the staff speaking good English. It is about 10 mins from the bus and train stations too. We had a great night here. Very clean rooms with nice shampoos and toothbrushes ect. The service was really lovely with a smile. 5minutes walk to Lild and bus service. Flight from Gibraltar so needed a hotel as I was going on to Cádiz the next day , basic and cheap but don’t expect any sleep , people banging doors all night and day , loud music and bar downstairs kept me up too , good WiFi and comfortable beds , just off busy Motorway and close to supermarket and restaurants . At only £30 a night you get what you pay for no sleep !!! 💤 😂 prob wouldn’t stay again...
