Overall room wasn’t very clean, the worthy thing that there wasn’t internet in the room

The apartment was nice, clean, and check in was easy. The breakfast was good and near to town. My only one minor complaint was there was not any wifi in the apartment. I only stayed for one night, but this would have been a problem if the stay had been longer. Overall would recommend this hotel.

For a short stay had everything we needed.

It had lovely large swimming pools with beautifuly kept gardens . The view we had was amazing

Little niggle about the refurbishment, no usb sockets fitted with new plug sockets, most hotels now have USB sockets. No kettle in the room, we hired a kettle for €20. This is the 3rd hotel we have stayed in Mojacar. Coming at end of the season jet2 only had two choices. Food: for the first few days we knew what we were eating and then the labels disappeared. . I absolutely love staying at this hotel. I'd rank it along with the best hotels I've ever stayed in, however, this is much, much cheaper. Service, fantastic. Food superb. Staff superb. Room was clean but dated. Shower was the best i have experienced in a hotel. Pillows were too soft for me but others may like. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Hotel needs modernization but i would definitely stay there again.

We headed over for a European Track day and this is the second time we’ve been and it is an absolutely fantastic hotel, it’s kept impeccably clean and the staff are so very nice and welcoming and what’s more there is nothing they won’t do to make your stay and experience even better. This is the second time here and Im already looking forward to returning next year.

Stayed for a No Limits track event at Andalucia Circuit. The hotel was great. The rooms were clean. The food was decent. The staff were cheerful and pleasant. A very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

We stayed for one week full board. Everything was perfect. All the staff we met were friendly and courteous. A special mention goes to the maintenance men who were replacing the large glass door. Also to the dinning room staff, especially Bernardo and the lady with glasses who helped our son regarding vegan food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Ok hotel, nothing special. Basic room. We had B&B basis, breakfast was nice. No tea/coffee making facilities. No English channels on tv. Very, very quiet in November. Irish bar & Italian restaurant closed for the season as were the on site shops. Restaurants close by also closed. A walk of 20-30 mins closer to be centre of Mojácar had cafes, shops, bars & restaurants.

Stayed for a week at the Marina Mar and whilst it was a pleasant enough stay I wouldn’t rate the hotel a 4 star. Rooms cleaned every day, fabulous powerful shower. My room overlooked the main pool (3008). Quite large balcony areas. Plenty of sunbeds all around the main pool areas, no issues getting an available bed. Do take your own towels though as they are not provided. Some beds looked rather grubby...

We've been coming to the Marina Mar and Marina playa hotels for 20 years now and cannot fault anything! The staff, the food, the service top notch especially if you're a family. A dated hotel, pools are saltwater, no entertainment in English but rooms and towels clean ever day, breakfast has a great selection, free parking although sometimes very very full. Plenty of sun beds especially between 15:00-17:00, siesta time, nothing much outside of hotel a bus or car trip to restaurants and bars, beaches close with lifeguards. Nice hotel, if the halls & rooms areca little tired & in need of an upgrade. Pool is beautiful with plenty of room & pool activities are fun. A great hotel - rooms a little tired but undergoing refurbishment later in 2025. The swimming pool is great and you can use the water park over the road as well. The food was plentiful and well cooked - lots to please everyone. Staff - great and helpful. We had three generations and ten people and everyone had a great time and felt welcome - we all want to come back again

Great hotel for the golfing community, or if you want somewhere quiet. A fantastic pool area, or if you prefer sea and sand, it's a stones throw from the sea and some great beaches. Within easy walking distance of fantastic restraunts, though car parking can be a pain. Modern comfortable rooms, excellent dining facilities and friendly helpful staff.

Rooms were dated and not very clean. Previous occupants nail clippings and eyelashes were on the bedroom floor! Lobby and restaurant are much better, food was tasty but usually only lukewarm. Staff were very helpful and mostly English speaking, but bear in mind if hotel entertainment is important and you're English, it's all Spanish. This didn't bother us too much because we went out.

Lovely hotel and great food. We stopped all inclusive this time. Food was great and the drink selection was excellent. We really enjoyed the coffee on the terrace or at the pool bar. Calm, composed and well presented: slightly away from the centres however the separation provides sanctuary.

Breakfast was too expensive at 19€ so ate elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. No air con. No pool. Heating was on even though the outside temp was 26° plus. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable. I made the mistake of thinking that the Parador would be in the old town but it's not, it's on the Playa de Mojacar (beach) about a 10 minute car ride away. But it worked out fine. Breakfast was excellent by the way!

Had we been staying longer than one night, I would have tried to swap rooms for on higher up with a proper view of the sea. Just had a 6-night break here through Focused Events for a motorcycling track event. We stayed in the Punta del Cantal apartments, whilst basic, were spacious, well appointed and clean. Included a fridge and kettle as well as a living area with sofa, chairs and table and a large terrace balcony as well as Juliet balcony. This hotel is perfect for a night or two. We will definitely stay again. No frills but it has everything you want in a room. A comfortable bed, spacious, spotlessly clean, air conditioning. Be aware however ******* says check in at 2.30. That’s not the case. You need to check in before 2pm as reception is not 24hrs and it closes at 2 then reopens at 5pm until ? Sorry can’t remember.

Great value resort in Mojacar Great value for money in a fabulous location. The resort lacks a pool but for a couple of nights its perfect with the beach and restaurants close . The room was spacious and good bathroom. Parking was free nera the resort.

We had a sea view room that was literally on the beach, the position couldn't be beaten and it was lovely to hear the sea whilst laying in the comfy beds. The breakfasts were great and we enjoyed these on the ample terrace that also fronted the beach. The price for food and drink was reasonable. We would highly recommend the Hotel Continental.

Visited in January 2019. Pleasant little hotel, didn’t eat there apart from good breakfast (Continental or full English). Comfortable room with balcony overlooking the sea and amazing sunrise every morning. Very helpful manageress who doesn’t speak English but waitress does. Helps to have Google Translate!
