Hotel Best Indalo in Mojacar

We decided to try the Best Indalo hotel Mojácar as it was my husband’s birthday. We stayed for three nights. The accommodation was acceptable, However as time went on it was evident that it was Schools Easter Holiday on the week we picked, not starting the next week as we thought. If you are a couple wanting a short break this is not the hotel for you. The bar area was separate from the hotel building and was used as a football pitch by a crowd of children.Families had descended on the Hotel (as it is all inclusive) and noise levels were crazy. The dining room was crazy too with not much choice and repetitive dishes. Also the hotel is mainly for Spanish guests and English was not widely spoken. I didn’t have a problem as l speak Spanish. On the whole the hotel best avoided if you are looking for a more ‘British’ experience as you won’t find it here. Do your research.

Pros:
• No issues finding sunbeds
• Lovely pool
• Good selection of all-inclusive drinks

Cons:
• Staff often rude and unaccommodating towards English guests, while Spanish guests seemed to receive friendlier treatment (with the exception of a few polite male young bar staff).
• Daytime and evening entertainment was entirely in Spanish, with no effort made to cater for English-speaking guests.
• Restaurant food was consistently served cold.
• Also hard to find seats in the restaurant due to a lack of staff
• Housekeeping was also very inconsistent - such as not changing mugs, not cleaning floors or bathrooms.
• Overall, the atmosphere left me feeling unwelcome for much of my stay

This hotel is not for English ! No kettle in rooms , TV didn’t work ! Staff have limited English!very expensive!we brought a tiny Zoggs swimming ball to play with in the pool with my two children aged 13 and 10 and got told off playing piggy in the middle ! When they allow Spanish families to have their baby inflatable! Will not come here again holiday cost over £3500 ! Ruined the stay as it was our last day and we wanted to play in the pool !
