Hotel Best Oasis Tropical in Mojacar

Had a wonderful 10 days at this hotel, have been to this hotel before but not since the refurbishment. Little niggle about the refurbishment, no usb sockets fitted with new plug sockets, most hotels now have USB sockets. No kettle in the room, we hired a kettle for €20. Being a 4* would have expected a kettle or coffee machine. Rooms cleaned daily, clean bedding, very spacious rooms x2 double beds. Pool area very spacious, plenty of sun loungers, parasols, choice of 3 pools, none heated. We were half board, there was a variety of food to choose from, some dining times were alot busier than others. The hotel staff were very friendly and always happy to help, hard working. The staff in the dining hall work very hard, sometimes looked short staffed and some guests were moaning. We were usually waited on by Jose Yoel, very hard working, polite, courteous, he & his colleagues are a credit to the hotel. Mojacar wplaya was a good walk away, we used local buses, visited Garrucha, Vera & Mojacar playa, all journeys were less than €3 each way. Definately visit Mojacar & this hotel again.

This is the 3rd hotel we have stayed in Mojacar. Coming at end of the season jet2 only had two choices. Food: for the first few days we knew what we were eating and then the labels disappeared. . There is a qr code to get allergens which is USELESS if you can’t identify the meal. I asked at reception for labels to be put back and same that night. So sent an email and labels returned. Room: upgraded to a swim up room and was amazing. Spoilt for 2 days when room next to us were smoking on the balcony and we then had to keep our door closed and not sit out there. We knew how the drinks system worked in that you can order a house wine by glass or have bottle. Staff all friendly. Entertainment: we were so pleased when it moved indoors as the noise was deafening and ended after 11pm. As others have commented it was “loud and shouty”. Which I agree with. Smoking: Spanish law presently allows people to smoke in outdoor areas: terraces and balconies. I do hope the proposed Spanish smoking law gets through and perhaps things then might change. Having experienced a swim up room I would defiantly go for again but only if a smoking ban was put in place.

Brilliant space, two double beds, Fabulous bathroom. The terrace was Excellent, with sea view and could also see entertainment on the evening. Very Easy came by car. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Greeting from reception great the young lady was so helpful, let us view the room because we had just walked out of somewhere else which was not acceptable. Gorgeous and luxurious. Fixtures and fittings good quality. The view, also excellent sound proofing on Patio windows was great.

Beautiful hotel with friendly and efficient staff. Spent 3 nights here for a short break, the room was spacious with 2 double beds which were very comfortable, it was spotless and cleaned daily. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. We have already booked another break here.

Very special birthday holiday for my wife and myself who have never been to Mojacar before. What a delight, great room with sea view, great food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, great location for the beach or town/marina nearby and just 15min drive to Mojacar Pueblo which is fantastic. All around a great time was had.

Absolutely love this hotel. We actually booked this as a last minute holiday when our flights to Italy were cancelled. We were not disappointed! The hotel is large and has all the amenities needed for a great holiday. The pool area is big with enough space to find a sunbed. There a numerous pools to take a dip in. The hotel is directly opposite a wonderful stretch of beach. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant buffet was stacked full of food choices. Each night has a different theme, I can’t begin to explain how large the buffet is and how amazing the food options are. There is also a cooking station where the chefs will cook fresh stir fry and meats or omelettes and pancakes at breakfast. The area is nice and quiet with the odd bar dotted along the beach. For a nice, relaxing holiday with family or friends, I would highly recommend.

It's a miracle of people, staff and place

Good facilities, clean, very friendly and attentive staff, good and varied food. Highly recommended to come with children. Its location...on the beachfront, so...what more could you ask for...well yes...value for money...unbeatable. Me, it is the second time I come and I will return. Highly recommended!.

A large room a bit dated but very comfortable cleaned every day. Had half board basis Food was great no complaints was busy but got table and if not ready staff sorted . Only one evening a bit late and was busy told to go in conservatory bit but refused to going in there and waited. The only thing is you can’t get exchange £ to euros from reception but catch bus up to bank nearby. Can get beds by the pool anytime of the day nobody puts towels on at stupid o’clock to reserve.
A trip to old town Mojacar by bus is a must it’s so picturesque.
