We just had a great visit at the Tarifa Lances hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean and well designed. We liked the details and colours in the room and also most of the styling throughout the hotel. All staff was very kind and professional 👌🏽, compliments! We have some little tips for the hotel to become even better than it already is: - the beds are a bit squeeky, especially with al the wood behind it...

Nice hotel, clean rooms, spacious bathroom and amazing breakfast (absolutely worth buying). However the room is bit dark, the pool was closed. Also it would be great if people at the reception speak better English. Nevertheless we felt good here and still recommend it of course.

Location of the hotel is great, parking below the hotel and Mercadona right next door. The hotel was very clean, the room pretty. Clean. Comfortable. Convenient. Hotel Tarifa Lances surprised me with how clean and spacious it is—from the rooms and baths to the lush grounds. The lobby staff welcomed us like old friends, and the restaurant, while a bit of a splurge, delivered on quality and ambiance. My daughter and I had a lovely holiday at this hotel. Special mention goes to Sergio the night receptionist who was the reassurance we needed after a stressful journey there from the UK. Everything was exactly as sold and the big tick was the air conditioning working regardless of the time of day or temperature. 4 and 5 star hotels that I have stayed in on this trip don't advertise the AC isn't available all the time. The accommodations of the Cordoniz are very quaint. Nevertheless, unless you have a car, you are entirely dependant on taxis to get around.

Our stay at Hotel Convento in Terifa was made memorable by the wonderful way Lola greeted and treated us. She was so helpful and exuberant!!! The hotel is 1/2 a block from the entrance to the old, walled town, where shopping and dining is plentiful It is also just a 10 minute walk to the ferry to Tangiers. The room, while generous, did not include kleenex/tissue in either the bathroom or the bedroom...

Helpful staff and a really convenient location. Parking was close by and a member of staff took us to the parking garage.

Great location. Room had a glass shower with overhead or handheld sprayers. The room was clean, and we had access to the roof. We needed a bit more space in the bathroom, but that is probably typical in the older buildings. We would have liked a fridge, but we worked it out with them for our medical need.

Great location but opposite a very noisy/late night bar. The breakfast offering was unclear, inconsistent and communication poor. Bathroom decor was very basic and tired with small, thin towels. Good black out window shutters. No tea/coffee making facilities.

We only came for the restaurant. We were told by a local in Tarifa it was a great little restaurant with great views. It was perfect. We ended up walking there along the beach a nice 1 and a half hour walk on a perfect day. The staff were lovely and the food was yummy. The view was top notch.

Its an oasis! They have truly managed to create an Oasis just in front of Valdevaqueros Beach (probably the coolest spot in Europe right now). The service is excellent and the food as well. The Hurricane Hotel enjoys a spectacular location on the sea with beautifully cared for grounds to match. We stayed in a tiny home (Aura) for a night, everything went smoothly (booking, check in and check out), we enjoyed our stay - the only downside was the absence of a cutting board and a knife for cooking/bread (although the kitchen is equipped for cooking generally, there are frying pans, pot, and cooktop). Over All We Have Very Good Time!! the thing is that the check-in time supposed to be at 12PM and the bungalow was ready at 4PM. Of course it was low season and we expect if we’re gonna have everything on time, but it was a bit of inconvenience.

Friendly service and a great location – only 500 meters from the beach, which you can reach on foot through a tunnel. The toilets and showers were clean. The tent sites can get muddy during the rainy season, but that’s not an issue in summer. There was some construction work going on in part of the area, but it didn’t bother us at all. Went for a little getaway witty my partner and two dogs. We booked a spot in the open camping area for two nights and loved our stay. Was actually very quiet when we were there (1-3rd of May). Great camping for relaxing and travelling with dogs. It has a 5 minute easy walk to the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. A distance from the town so definately need transport however there is a local bus that stops just outside the campsite that runs frequently.

Crackin find, we're currently travelling the south of Spain in our campervans searching for sun n warmth but only finding sun, and now only rain, so we decided to book into a hotel for a few nights to shelter from storm Ingrid so pulled into hotel La Torre to see if they had any availability, they did, so booked 4 nights, €50 a night for two adults, what a lovely clean hotel, receptionist girl spoke...

Parking was easy. Room was clean food was good. Only minor issue was trying to get breakfast when only one staff doing check out, check in and breakfast. Had to leave without as taking very long time. Will still go back.

Absolutely loved the place, absolute joke that its only rated as 2 star hotel, definitely worth more than that, staff were lovely, very welcoming, rooms were spotless, breakfast so much choice, pool and grounds had a grest vibe, only stayed a night as was travelling around but would have been happy to have stayed tere for a week holiday. So, we booked this place at the very last minute looking for a cheap place to crash, and were very pleased with the value for the money. The room was comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. It's a ways outside of the town so it's peaceful and quiet. Walls are a bit thin, so you hear the neighbors, and the plumbing is typical of this region in that yiu need to leave windows open for gases to escape

Hotel La Pena is a tropical paradise located just a 5-minute walk from the ocean outside of Tarifa. You are completely surrounded by lush and beautiful gardens. They offer an amazing breakfast buffet, and you feel like you are eating in paradise. Highly recommend.

La Peña is a very decent hotel, amids the greens and silence with a very coasy atmosphere. Rooms are small but clean and tidy, the beds are very comfortable and the AC works perfectly. The main kite beach is just a three minute drive away. I skipped breakfast as for me, it wasn’t worth €8. Would totally recommend La Peña when visiting Tarifa.

Excellent find when looking for a 2 night stay when attending a wedding locally. Staff exceptionally helpful, lovely restaurant too. I booked a 'single room' but it was great, the room was a little casita style with it's own outside verandah, lovely to sit outside & relax. Just across the road from a lovely beach too! Being a single lady on my own, I felt 100% safe!

Perfect place to stay if you are a water sports enthousiast. The location is perfect, the hotel is very nice and has a very good Restaurant next door. The hotel is very average, but totally ok and close to the beach. As we where not spending any time part from sleeping in the hotel it was fine. Receptionist was very friendly and restaurant staff as well. It was no water in the pool who was a bit strange as it’s middle of summer. Beautiful dreamy place. Good for dog-owners. There is a beach bar with good music and a 'high-society' crowd, which makes you feel like on some sort of Hawaiian or Californian beach. Had the pleasure of staying here for three nights and it is exactly the type of hotel we like to stay in. We are nervous travellers and the staff were always so cheerfully helpful to all our needs, the location to what we like to see was perfect and the view from our window was the best of our trip so far, an unexpected gem, sad to leave .

Great location in the heart of the old town. Has a bit of a shabby chic feel to it. Really nice bar area on the front. Rooms a good size and decent air conditioning. Kettle provided in the room, although no fridge. You can’t get anywhere near the hotel with a car as it’s pedestrianised, we parked in a secure car park about 10 mins walk away which was easy, it was 18 euros a day though so not cheap...

Very convenient for Valdevaqueros beach, just 3 minutes with the car, Tarifa is about 12 to 15 mins away with car. Very nice room at best price in October.

We have been many times to tarifa and was first time in a hotel. We were very happy with our stay. The hotel is super well located if you kitesurf and staff was very kind. The food at their restaurant was surprisingly good. Especially their mojito who were the best we had during our stay. Definitely highly recommend, we found it much nicer than staying in the city.

We stayed here to go windsurfing/ whale watching. The family room was basic but spacious & the beds were comfy - we all slept well. Located away from the main road so traffic noise isn't noticeable and about 15 to 20 minutes walk to Valdevaceros beach. Rooms are attended every day, and super clean. We had a really great stay here, the room was really comfortable with a lovely rain shower. The hotel is located in the historic district with only a short walk to all the shops, bars and restaurants, and a 15-20 minute walk to the beach for sunset, if you want. The highlight of the stay however was Francesca (Paqui) who greeted us on arrival. She was fantastic, tolerating our not very good Spanish...

Small boutique hotel in good location. What makes this place, apart from comfortable rooms, is without a doubt the people working here. Carlos on reception couldn't have been more helpful & gave great advice on everything to do with Tarifa. Miguel was also very friendly and went out of his way to assist in any way. Fully recommend.

Stayed here for a few nights in mid June. An affordable, well situated between Kite surfing spots and town. Everything was clean and tidy. Quiet location, can't really hear the passing traffic. Would recommend to anyone for a future stay. Would benefit from having a car though - it is a bit far to walk to town if you are on foot.

The bed was a bit too overused since it got a big dip in the middle which made it a bit uncomfortable. Checking in and out of the Hostal has been very fast thanks to automated systems and safe boxes for keys. Cleaning service was respectful of my goods and cleaned everything pretty well.
