The location of the hotel is great, not too far from the centre and within walking distance from the beach. The hotel was clean and reception staff were polite and helpful.

The staff were wonderful and provided us all items we required. While there was so refrigerator or kettle in the room, they allowed us to leave items in their office refrigerator downstairs as well as provided us mugs for the hot water cooler to make our tea in the morning. So, we booked this place at the very last minute looking for a cheap place to crash, and were very pleased with the value for the money. The room was comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. It's a ways outside of the town so it's peaceful and quiet. Walls are a bit thin, so you hear the neighbors, and the plumbing is typical of this region in that yiu need to leave windows open for gases to escape

Hotel La Pena is a tropical paradise located just a 5-minute walk from the ocean outside of Tarifa. You are completely surrounded by lush and beautiful gardens. They offer an amazing breakfast buffet, and you feel like you are eating in paradise. Highly recommend.

La Peña is a very decent hotel, amids the greens and silence with a very coasy atmosphere. Rooms are small but clean and tidy, the beds are very comfortable and the AC works perfectly. The main kite beach is just a three minute drive away. I skipped breakfast as for me, it wasn’t worth €8. Would totally recommend La Peña when visiting Tarifa.

The accommodations of the Cordoniz are very quaint. Nevertheless, unless you have a car, you are entirely dependant on taxis to get around.

We spent 3 nights there with my family. The room are really small but neat. It's a well maintained hotel but clearly not a 3 star. The breakfast wasn't good at all and I find way too expensive for what it was. The hotel is very, very clean. The staff are all attentive and professional, and there are a lot of staff too so the service is very good. Great pool area and a short walk over the road to the beach. I would recommend choosing one of the bungalows as the rooms in the main building can be noisy. The food is excellent - lots of locals eat there and it is a local favourite.

This hotel is perfect for excursions! Just 10 minutes by car for Tarifa center. The hotel has been refreshed after covid, but our room was a bit small and old, but also correct for one night. The courtyard is very beautiful and well maintained. I spent a couple of hours relaxing on deckchair under palm.

Hotel is the perfect spot for a beach getaway. It’s very close to the town and a short walk away from the beach. The area itself is peaceful and quiet and the staff are bilingual and helpful.

A family run business, decent place for those who wants to spend some days for relaxation. 1 km to the ocean beach Los Lance's, 8 minutes drive to the city center of Tarifa. Close to the places famous for kytes and windsurfing. The rooms are daily cleaned. You can have breakfast for 5.20 euros. Decent prices compared to the other hotels and camping around.

Lovely hotel full of character. Very nice clean rooms. Bathroom a little tight for space but absolutely fine. Super sun terrace for all guests to use on the top floor. A little confusion about where and when to get breakfast, a sign in various languages would be helpful but we had a lovely stay and would definitely return. Located in a charming little street in the heart of the town, the hotel is nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Nice place and Good attitude but didnt get info that wifi dosent work on upper floors but after a some talking we got a new room. Overall 4 star but dont like chasing wi-fi and change room. Some things are just supposed to work when you pay about 100 euros a night for a small room.

Parking was easy. Room was clean food was good. Only minor issue was trying to get breakfast when only one staff doing check out, check in and breakfast. Had to leave without as taking very long time. Will still go back.

Beautiful dreamy place. Good for dog-owners. There is a beach bar with good music and a 'high-society' crowd, which makes you feel like on some sort of Hawaiian or Californian beach. The only downside are the ubiquitous kite-surfers, some of whom seem to be quite incosiderate about other beach goers with their kites and the wires attaching them falling dangerously on the beach. We only came for the restaurant. We were told by a local in Tarifa it was a great little restaurant with great views. It was perfect. We ended up walking there along the beach a nice 1 and a half hour walk on a perfect day. The staff were lovely and the food was yummy. The view was top notch.

Amazing place right on the beach, small hotel with only few rooms and alloc them facing the sea. Charming and very helpful receptionist Ambra who also cheerfully assists guests during breakfast. We have been many times to tarifa and was first time in a hotel. We were very happy with our stay. The hotel is super well located if you kitesurf and staff was very kind. The food at their restaurant was surprisingly good. Especially their mojito who were the best we had during our stay. Definitely highly recommend, we found it much nicer than staying in the city.

Located away from the main road so traffic noise isn't noticeable and about 15 to 20 minutes walk to Valdevaceros beach. Rooms are attended every day, and super clean. It is not walking distance from the old town so be prepared to drive. The is however a great restaurant 3 minutes walk at the end of the drive. Or use the hotel.
